In 2021 we had dryer vent cleaning for a 30 unit condo and I think we came up with something like 4 pounds of lint (dry) and 3 or 4 bird nests. They do make a plastic screen cap (vent guard) that snap fits over those louvers (without blocking the air/louver movement) and prevents bird entry.

Tis the season!!! Actually, spring is typically my favorite and it’s GREAT for business! Homeowners aren’t too fond of momma birds however I LOVE THEM, lol. Thx Bob!

Can you put a link to the hose you use. I like that rather than the rods. Thanks

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Since these are all individually owned, there’s no “office.” Guess you meant to say HOA…. I’m already in talks with them… 30% off… 🧐 Unfortunately, that’s a conversation I don’t need your coaching on but as always, THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTS!!!!

Um, sir, it appears that you stole a vent flap from the neighbors vent exhaust. In the beginning of your video, your exhaust port is missing a flap at the top and at the end of your video they are all there. Also, the vent to the left of yours had a flap at the bottom which is missing in the end of your video. Not saying it wasn't you but as a home owner, regardless, seems suspect. Just saying.

I can appreciate that. But fact is, I’ve replaced many dampers throughout the years. When I’m replacing one that only has a couple of the louvres or I’m replacing one that the homeowner doesn’t like the appearance, I throw all the leftover, or reusable ones, into a box in my van. That way, I can typically replace just one or two on a different home without having to charge them whatsoever. I’m just recycling something that would’ve would up in a landfill. If one fell off another while I was working, that’s terrible that I didn’t notice and I can reach out to them for verification. Mistakes happen however immediately going to theft is rather strong. I’ve been in business a long time my friend and stealing has NEVER been in my toolbox! Thx for pointing that out

Who would actually steal a flap off a dryer vent anyway? Kind of ludicrous.
