I so enjoyed turning the shawl into a poncho and if you have made the shawl you will already be quite familiar with the castle shell .... I am throwing in another shell ... a tower shell! Enjoy! Anja xxx
Anja, I appreciate so much how you go into extensive detail on stitch placement. It is so crucial to success with the project. This is a beautiful poncho. Thank you so much much!!
I love how you explain it well. There are channels that I start the a project and get frustrated because the instruction is so confusing and not well explained 😕. Thank you
Well, my Crochet Mentor, I have launched out to try this beautiful poncho, looking good so far...you are a very good teacher and thanks a million for doing this! Cheers from FL in the southern US...🥰❤️👍
Starting after supper...if I can wait that long. Forget it. I'll start now and get delivery ^·,·^ ~ Thank you for this beauty. Happy holidays and every days dearest Anja.
Lovely tutorial. It's quite helpful . Thank you very much. But I'd like to know how many chains to start with for a size M and also I want it to have front buttons . Thanks
Thank you for the video I actually made it using cotton yarn and it is lovely I would love to share a picture of what I made guide me on how to do that
Another beautiful poncho. does thewritten pattern also contain a graph? I think this is one pattern where that could be helpful/ I love this pattern, but not sure I coiuld keep up with the exact places where the sc and shells go.
Hi Anja 🌷 How clear could the instructions be. I love the imagery of castles and towers and my yarn is calling me.. beautiful teal. Will have to wait until the blanket I'm working on is finished..... just a couple of days and then out of my way. Thank you for sharing the pattern. Hi to Dirk.🎄🍂🍁💕
Hi Anja, Love the poncho!...I was doing fine until the tutorial ended...when I go around again it doesn't end on the castle shell (right before the tower shell in the same way...). Do you slip stitch over the whole top of a castle shell to start again with the chains?...I paid for the pattern but your site is not letting me download it? I don't know if anyone can explain it here...hoping I asked my question clearly, I keep ripping out that row and starting over...thank you! Lynn
I was finding the same issue I would have understood it after the second row if there was one more row in the tutorial to transition to the third row of shells. Especially for new beginners. I have ripped it out as well and I really like the poncho.

Depends on your size, Lana but i think you might be just fine with 3.5 balls is you don't do tassels. Alternatively you can do a few rows in another colour. Hope this helps.

I love how you explain it well. There are channels that I start the a project and get frustrated because the instruction is so confusing and not well explained 😕. Thank you
This is a gorgeous poncho. I do enjoy your teaching style. A very neet style for a poncho.
I love this method for not twisting the beginning chain for the neck opening. So much easier. Beautiful poncho
Thank you! 😊 glad you like it xx
Such an interesting way to make the poncho! So beautiful! Thank you so much!🥰💕

I’ve made one now in stylecraft special dk cypress. Love it!
Not sure how many rows to do...😊
Depends on how long you want them. Also I mentioned how many rows I did in the video. Thank you for watching offlead ! Anja xxx 💕🌈
Nice
It is so beautiful, thank you very much to share, but I do not like to make "triple crochet". If I do it, Iwill make it with "DC higher". 😊👌🙏🕊♾️
@krmyna1 that's fine, and extended DC gives pretty much the same effect and stitch height!! Thank you for watching, Anja x

Sorry no it doesnt, but if you concentrate at the start you will see the pattern forming Sherry, you can do this. Thank you, Anja x

I have emailed you the pattern? Did it work out ok in the end? Thank you for watching Lynn Coleman ! Anja xxx 💕🌈

Wow I like it very much please give some details
The video is the tutorial, Anja x
Hallo !!! How many grams more to sew a shawl
Todas tus creaciones son hermosas, me 3ncanta la firma en que lo presentas.
Podrías incluir subtítulos en español???? Saludos y bendiciones desde Orizaba Veracruz México
Hi Martha, thank you, you can choose subtitles in the settings at the bottom right of the video, hope this helps, Anja x
Do you need 4 full balls? I have 3.5 balls remaining from another project.
Depends on your size, Lana but i think you might be just fine with 3.5 balls is you don't do tassels. Alternatively you can do a few rows in another colour. Hope this helps.
Please, what is the total yardage that used (so that I can make sure I have enough)
I used 4 balls of Stylecraft special dk for my sized poncho, which is around 1288 yards, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks Thank you!
What is the thread number of the needle?
It's made with Stylecraft Special DK which is a 3 weight/light worsted, and I use a 3.5mm hook, Anja x
You didn’t explain how to connect a castle to castle in the final row do we single crochet in the chain three then the single crochet
Hi Maddy, yes you do the same as any other row. Thank you, Anja x
Non si può avere la traduzione in italiano grazie
Less talking more showing please
Hi Scharlyn, the reason I don't launch straight into the tutorial is the neck opening and stitch multiples need extra explanation. Thank you, Anja x
Why is the yarn... Hook... Etc on the bush😂😂😂😂
Just for the video, no particular reason!! Anja x
It's a log, not a bush. Presentation is everything!
Nice
