Much of Rob Zombie's work is connected to his love of cheesy, over the top old horror movies. For such a scary looking guy he has a reputation for actually being nice and kind. "Living Dead Girl" is probably his most famous song.
Yeah, I like a few more than "Living Dead Girl"... "Dragula", "Never Gonna Stop", "More Human Than Human", "Thunder Kiss'65", and a few others. I think "More Human Than Human" may be more popular than "Living Dead Girl" but not really sure.
"Dragula" is the name of Grandpa's car from the t.v. show- THE MUNSTERS, which is what Rob Zombie is driving. ....also, if you want a good Rob Zombie song & video- NEVER GONNA STOP.
That's a banger! Rob and his wife Sheri are two of the friendliest most down to earth celebs I've ever met. Talked with them several times at conventions when I was getting their autographs on some merch. They found out I was a Horticulturist and we were soon talking about tomatoes, peppers and making salsa, and every time I met them after that they remembered me and were so nice.

Rob was inspired by classic horror movies and incorporates that type of imagery in his songs. He was part of the band White Zombie in the 90s. More Human than Human, Black Sunshine, and Living Dead Girl are worth a listen. He also does horror films too.
Saw him live on the Hellbilly Deluxe tour. What a show - gogo dancers, fire everywhere, crazy backdrop videos. Rob is a carny in the best sense of the word.
I love how you seem to get the songs you listen to. Rob himself said the lyrics are nonsensical and pointless. Its literally just a cool song to listen to and especially drive to. Gets ya bopping and envokes a certain feeling in most people who listen to it
Best concert I ever went to. Would definitely recommend. His concert is as theatrical as his videos. My daughter is responsible for introducing me to this genre of music.

The pretty lady serving as the main dancer of the girls--the girl in black--in this music video is Rob Zombie's wife, Sheri Moon. They've done numerous projects together, both music videos with Rob and as well as several movies; she has only played roles in movies directed by him. He's an extremely good director as you can tell from this music video and some of his very notable and successful films include: House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, the late 2000s versions of Halloween 1 and 2, and Grindhouse. If you were ever wondering who the blonde knockout in the sexy chaps in House of 1000 Corpses was, that's her.

Anyone remember the Rob Zombie pinball game? I remember being at some pizza/family bar joint and it being there. Then my dad's friend came to visit once and he let me steal his Rob Zombie CD bc I liked it so much. I was in middle school... ahaha! I'm surprised my dad let me keep it...
I'm glad you enjoyed this. I recommend you listen to *'Brick House'* for your next Rob Zombie song, which features Lionel Richie. It's also something I'm sure you wouldn't expect from him.
Wow this takes me back to High School and the weird Goth stage I went through. Also reminds me of The Matrix, I cant remember if it was part of the sound track her not.
This song was one of my favorites by him along with living dead girl off the same album hellbelly deluxe but his early stuff as white zombie like thunder kisses and many others were great as well
