The Bloodhound Gang is *that* band; hilarious, a little offensive, and anything but serious. They're really nice guys IRL and while their songs are rather adult, they're done in such a way that you're laughing just as much as you're shocked. I would say both One Fierce Beercoaster and Hooray for Boobies are my favorite albums.
The animals put the humans in a cage and made them dance for entertainment. It may be more layered than it appears. Great video do more reactions with your friend!
This video was made on a whim while the band was on tour in France. They just filmed what they could on the streets of Paris. The song blew up as soon as it hit the radio and MTV. They're all super nice guys in real life. Jimmy Pop's lyrics are incredibly ridiculous and fun.
If you go back to the opening sequence of the video, you see monkeys in cages and being forced to perform on command. Then if you go to the end of the video, you see people in cages and being forced to perform on command. From there, there are lots of different messages you can take from that.
I have to appreciate the lyrics, such great innuendos in every line. Plus it's catchy, plus the video has some deeper meaning. They don't take themselves too seriously and I still love it over 10 years later.
That's exactly it! The 90s was such a wide range of music including not serious fun ones. Other people are like WTAF?! But it's about the fun. Plus they actually are rhyming so good 🙌

"Bad Touch" was a code word prompted to tell children to yell to protect themselves from molestation in the 90s. The film clip was around their "anti zoo" stance, putting the humans in cages instead! Not random
There are several reasons why this video wouldn't be made today. Imagine if it was made today, Me Too and several others would be stomping on these guy's necks. There was no such thing as "cancel culture" in the 90s. The only thing we canceled was our BMG subscription if we wanted to switch to Columbia House and we rarely did that! Either you loved the content that was being put out or you didn't. If you didn't, you know what you did? You changed the channel. Personally I still love this song and video. Loved it then and love it now. I remember seeing it for the first time on MTV in the spring of 1999 which was a dominant year for music and movies in general to close out the millennium. I'm talking about the REAL MTV when they played nothing but heat!! Back when MTV was great to watch. Thats why we should appreciate, worship, and remember 90s music and culture because it will never be the same as it was back then. The way things are today, not a damn chance.

No, the video EXACTLY correlates to the song! You’re missing the silly nuance! He’s say “you and me baby ain’t nothing but mammals” and we are very close to monkeys in dna, so they dressed like monkeys. The next line “so let’s do IT like they do on Discovery channel” like the Discovery channel shows animals in their natural habitat doing IT. And he’s in the street dressed like our closest mammals creatures and wants to do IT in their natural habitat with the beautiful women they see in the city, our current natural habitat.

I really enjoy the genuine reactions and how you approach all different music & videos with an open mind. The time and attention to detail you pour into each video is apparent and appreciated.
