It's amazing how fluid someone looks whose completely devoted themselves to a particular area of fighting. His partner is very talented as well (obviously), but you can see a stark difference in their skill level and it comes thru the subtle nuances in his movements. It's remarkable to watch a master of a particular craft in action.
excellent video champ, would you be willing to make a video using the shifting moving backwards and setting up powerful counter angles against a pressure fighter? Thank you, best regards from Rochester NY
Wow no offense first time I heard of you because of my UA-cam feed but I am glad I have found your videos. Thank you for your knowledge and great work!!!!! I will definitely do more homework on your work sir. Keep up your great work!!!!!
Joe I love your channel and content but I am 100% sure you just renamed the D'amato Shift. You're right side set-up for it is a Fitzsimmons shift into the D'amato shift. The difference is you're not actually shifting stances in the left side one, but it should be an option depending on how your partner reacts like at 4:05 of this video.
You change the stance in a D'amato shift . He and his student didn't change it all the time .He did more kind of a Tyson or hop step mixed with a pendelum step to the side .So just call it shuffle step ;-)
@@coco.combat You and I are describing the exact same movement. Tyson's hop step is the D'amato shift. He's just demonstrating a limited application of the same movement without hitting from a switched stance but the option is will always be there.
I’m strictly a recreational boxer and really appreciate all the content you provide. Your delivery is very clear and concise. Much appreciated sir.
Everyday I'm shufflin'!

True it's d'amato shift i've never seen anybody using it in kickboxing do you know why?

Yet, a different term for the move is "shifting." Inside shift and outside shift. 😊
Neat.

When l used my right leg for shuffle am feel its not easy
LOL
Subtítulos spanish please

Im defecting to Canada
Its not easy to do thus
Moving ur head inside during a shuffle step is defensively irresponsible tho
I was told by a bird....this technique doesn't generate power
But sets up a beautiful shot
Thanks!
