Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple is a renowned shrine located in Thrissur district, Kerala. Considered one of the 108 Shakti Peethas mentioned in Indian mythology, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali.
One of the oldest temples in Kerala, the goddess is worshipped in three forms: Bhadrakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati. Situated on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River, the temple's primary festival is Thaipusam. Numerous legends and stories surround this sacred place.
