I was confused until I realized the configurator profiles dont show up in the X-plane joystick profiles. It runs separately in tandem with them; the bravo configs are only for the buttons and switches and to make the annunciator lights work.
Also if you have the same rocker switch assigned to different things , say nav light in xplane, but taxi light in bravo config, then both lights will come on when switch is on.
And if you load a up a plane and realize your bravo profile is wrong you can load the right one, activate, go to plugin menu and reload bravo profile.

Using X-plane 12. All profiles I try to import are "greyed-out": cannot import. Using Mac Studio with Apple Silicon.

Can you please show how to activate the profiles in the sim? You need to explain in a manner not assuming people are computer experts. It can't be this difficult. You need to explain all the way through to the end - from configuration to sim activation. Also, where in the upper menu in the flight sim do you load the file?

Do I need to export my profiles to the resources/joystick configs folder? Because X-Plane does not seem to pickup or recognize the profile. How can i confirm the profile variables I create using the tool are being addressed by the simulator? When I "activate" a given profile, does it write that configuration somewhere, or is that the purpose of the export?

Hi, no the profiles file automatically will be saved to the win_x64 or mac_x64 folder inside the AFC_Bridge plugin folder. Did you reload the profiles in x-plane? (via the upper menu)

@@MrJaraNet I have a few times but not really knowing what it does or when it needs to be done. I have a deep respect and appreciation for the work you are doing, but I have to say, between MSFT putting half-baked software out there (I'm not even using FS2020), X-Plane and all the home cockpit peripheral and avionics panel builders trying to catch up with Honeycomb's hardware, flight simming has never been more complicated. And I'm a 30-year veteran of the technology field!
I'm about ready to dump this Bravo unit, buy a bunch of Arduino boards and start soldering. At least with the PropWash Simulation autopilot unit I can get visual confirmation on its interface of the active functions. The AP on the Bravo just relies on annunciation from the panel, which on X-Plane's default Baron 58, for example, are pretty sparse. And the contention between assignments made in this configurator vs the X-Plane joystick page is not sustainable for me.

Thanks, This is the information I've been searching for! Great product, just hard to work with. Any thoughts on being able to just important the files straight from the download page instead of having to download them first, save and then import them? That's what I've been trying to do which seems logical in my head.
