I found my birth mother as an adult and this song say it all.... she died a couple of years ago but even the lyrics... you lying beside me,,, we would drink teas in my bed watch tv and she would sleep because she was ill ... but I was with her and she still is my shining star thank you for this song x

I loved this song when it was released. Then I heard it on the radio in the autumn of 2020 for the first time in ages and I was reminded of how uniquely beautiful this song is. I am not a fan of ordinary love songs, but this is something extraordinary. Happily enough I'm also in a romantic relationship which makes this song so much stronger for me. Thank you, Ten Sharp!

I was 9 years old when this song was in the charts in Dublin, it was on the radio all the time, a beautiful song.
My two beautiful kittens were killed by a local person who kept pigeons, Teeger & Chester were their names. What ever he done to kill them he just threw them into the field behind their house for me to find a few days later while I was out looking for them. Never felt such emotional devastation and loss when I found them.. it hit me so hard. I was crying for about two weeks on and off and during that time this song was playing on the radio a lot, it registered with me and became associated with what happened, the lyrics you were always on the run, I pictured my two cats being outside and running around the fields when not cuddling & purring on my lap. But to hear this song after so long, 33 years it brought me back to that day. I have streaming tears writing this while my own 10 year old son is beside me sleeping. But I really want to register into existence the love and time we shared together and also the loss which I experienced in what would have been around March 1991. This song is so powerful for me, I will be preparing myself to listen to it on my own again where I can travel back to that time with those emotions and memories. Thank you for writing this song and thankfully I found it again.

I scoured the billboard hits for 1991-1993, amazingly this song never registered in the top 20 or 50 in all those 36 months!!
