How often do you wash? The longer you go without washing the more hair you have to shed and it’s normal. I was every 5-7 days and have like a apple size hair clump 😅
Same here. When I was young I had a thick, full mane. I reached my 60's years ago and between aging and brain surgery my hair has thinned drastically... but I'm not quite ready to shave yet. It's still beautiful. 💛
I need some help.😢 I feel like my hair hate conditioner. I use the 50/50 balancing clarifying shampoo then I used Lusbrands conditioner. I used curlsmiths protein feather light cream and briogeos protein gel. My hair is extreamly soft no cast formed and my hair is extreamly limp and frizzy. I know my hair loves protein but I have to use conditioner every now and then and when I do my hair looks horrible. When I dont my hair is hard to come and style but my curls look amazing. Im pretty sure I got moisture overload today just by doing what I stated up top. I'm thinking about doing the Bond salve tomorrow but im almost certain deep conditioner after will give me moisture overload again. Should I just stop using conditioners all together?? Any help would be sooo appreciated ❤❤
Is your hair fine and low density? Is it high porosity? Maybe it does love protein. I know the lus conditioner is super rich and moisturizing. So that might be the issue. I feel like that would probably be a conditioner you’ll use more 1 a month or so. I’d recommend the rehab salve from curlsmith it always gives my hair a good bounce. Since it’s protein rich. Maybe clarify first, then apply the rehab salve. I’d recommend looking into conditioners that are more protein rich. Maybe the protein one from not your mothers in the purple bottle.
@@AlexasCurls I've been transitioning to curly hair for about 3 months after straightening, bleaching and dying it for 13 years. I did a big hair cut and my waves came back. It seems like the less moisturizing products I use and the more protein I use the curlier my hair is. I've used the aphogee as well as the Bond Salve but as soon as I follow up with a conditioner its almost like I didnt do the protein treatment at all. I have tried using no conditioner, it was very hard to style my hair with my brush however it gave me amazing curls. Even leave ins will weigh my hair down lol its a mess I know 😂
@zaejohnson3414 I have fine hair and a lot of it. Your correct my hair absolutely loves protein and doesn't do well with heavy moisturizing products. Also prefers foam or mousse over heavy gels. It's been 6 months since I commented that and I'm finally getting closer 😂😂😂.
@@sinarojamy hair is fine and I have a lot of it as well. I've tried a few leave-on conditioners and they give curls but leave my hair frizzy. Mousse works but only when I use it by itself, but I know I need conditioner. Would you mind sharing the products you're using now and your routine with me? I'm so frustrated. Ugh!
