I can’t wait for the day when every curly is going to be looking their best! It’s the age of the curlies! We are all beautiful, we just need help from people like Sophie to show us the way!
I am fairly new to curly hair, my hair having grown back in curly after losing most of it to illness, but I learned the same thing you talked about in the end of this video. When I first started learning how to take care of my curly hair, I would wake up in the morning, take my bonnet off and be shocked because my hair was kind of wonky, but like yours, I learned that by just waiting an hour or so, my hair just settles and falls into place. Plus, I agree, I like my 2nd, 3rd... day hair better than the day I style it; it picks up more volume. As a matter of fact, just yesterday, I got several compliments on it and my hair has not been washed or refreshed in a week! Thanks, again, for a really awesome video! Your hair looked gorgeous in the end. Well, it always looks beautiful! 😍
Wow I love to hear this! That’s really interesting to know ❤️✨➰ letting it settle is the best thing ever haha that why I try to take it out first thing in the morning so by the time I leave the house it’s looking good 😅 so glad you like my content thanks for being here ❤️❤️
Sophiemarie, you are one class act. I love your content and mature delivery. You are also a great teacher, and, yes, we come on these channels to learn. You do not disappoint. You are a good writer and your content ties up all the loose ends (out unintended!) for us by the end of a specific video. Honestly, as you know, leaning these curly hair methods are complicated, and I so appreciate you taking us along on your journey, as we continue to negotiate our own. Brava!
Oh my god, i found out a fee months back i have curls and i've been trying so many ways to do my curls and none made me feel perfect, this one did! I'll use this one way often! THANK YOU ❤
This came just in time, thx. I pre oiled my hair and let it sit. I am getting ready to shampoo and condition. Valentines Day tomorrow. Dinner with my hubby.
Thank you! I just tried Curl Smith. Holy moley…. I’m in love. I did the bonding treatment before shampooing, used the Multitask Conditioner then the In Shower Style Fixer. I don’t know which one of those brought my curls VK better than ever, but it’s amazing. I took their “Quiz” on the website for help. I also love my Dyson but I have very long hair so after I diffuse my roots with the Dyson, I have to switch and use my Black Orchid diffuser since it’s deeper!
I hope you had a lovely bd event with your friend, it’s great that you can do your hair the day before your evening. I think if I followed this to the letter I could get my frizzy wavy hair to be a bit curly. PS … I recognise that mug, and glad to see Frank too. I missed cat sitting him this weekend. Mumma xxx
Yesssss!!!! A complete beginning-to-end video! Ugh, you’re amazing! Question. Why do you not brush in the gel? Why do you payer hand it? Wouldn’t the gel spread better with the brush? I never understood the reason behind it when I’ve seen other UA-camrs do it. Just curious and thank you for your answer in advance 🙏
Yay! Glad you like the video ❤️❤️ so I do brush through the gel sometimes but only if the gel is lighter/silkier. If the gel has a lot of stick to it : brushing it though could cause some friction and breakage. So I only like to brush and clump the curls with something moisturising and slippery like creams etc ✨
I have been loving your you tube videos because it’s more detailed than the reels It’s soo beyond helpful The night clipping is helping me bec I used to just do one big pineapple and ur way is better for sure. Now I have less stretching of my curls. I’m going to try this next washday how you clipped it up for styling. It may be better for my back because some it is upright. Sucks I washed my hair today . How often do you wash your hair ?
Yay so glad you’re liking my videos on here 🥰 and so glad the night clipping tutorial is helping 🤩 that’s really been a game changer for me too! And yes this filp section method (edit) with the bottom section down also means you can limit the time you’re spent flipped over. Also this time I actually sat in the chair with my hair just over my face I didn’t hunch over too much as I wasn’t standing - which helped. I just don’t do my makeup before this because if not I’d get water on my face 😂
Love this video! Was wondering if you could do a breakdown on your haircut and if you cut it yourself or get it done professionally. I wanna get my hair cut but im not sure what to ask for and your shape is exactly what I want.
Thanks so much! ❤️ yes I am going to get my next haircut filmed so will share on here: but I get a wet cut at Toni and guy by a curl specialist. I typically ask for lots of layers and U shape at the back, I also ask for my hair to be cut in a way that I can wear my parting however I want, so it’s flexible
I love your videos wish my curls looked that good can't get rid of the frizz and my hair breaks with every wash, brush, comb no matter what I do my hair still has breakage 😢 I don't enjoy my hair at all yours is beautiful
Hey, I’ve been following you and your tips really improved my curly hair in my experience, but I would really like to know what type of haircuts or how you trim your curly hair so I can better take care of mine because I probably got a bad haircut for my curly hair cause I got a straight haircut like a haircut, straight hair curly hair and it’s really damaging my curl cause I always have to straighten so I just really wanna know what type of trim you get for your curls or what type of haircut you get in general for your curls
I've been letting my hair go curly for a couple years now but I still have trouble with frizz and mental looking curls!! 😭 I wanna try finger coiling but it looks so tiring to do (my hair in hip length)
How often do you wash your hair,? I wash my hair every other day because i feel if i don't my hair gets very tangled. I cut my hair about almost 2 months now not too much maybe around 1 1/2 inches i want it long. Do you recommend anything? I would say we kind of have the same texture just mine is longer i would length curly is up to my chest. Maybe it's my length causing the tangles 😏
@SophieMarieCurly Hello! I just found you and am so thankful. I am binge-watching your videos and love them all so far. Thank you for sharing all of the great ideas! Ever thought of doing a video on your makeup routine? That is something I would also be interesting in watching. Sending much love!
@sophiemarie Your hair is gorgeous! I wonder the name of the product (a small white bottle with green lid) you used on your “bangs” while getting your hair ready for bed. It is not on the list of used products. If you could tell me the name I would appreciate it.
I love the “perfect hair care” Microfiber towels they’re great! But I also recommend using a soft cotton T-shirt if you don’t want to buy a towel as they work the same!
Yes ❤️ the exact link for mine I can’t find anymore but they sell the exact same ones now on Etsy - I see a few different colours, if you type in “Silver Continuous Mist Bottle by Aussie Decor Transfers | 300ml” 💕
Ugh why is everything for curly hair a ridiculous amount of products and time! My hair looks amazing when I just wash it and just let it go. The only thing I'm trying to find is how to either brush curly hair and not pull out all of the curls, or better yet, how to keep my curly hair from getting tangled and matted when I sleep. Because every time I brush and detangle my hair it pulls out all of the curl.
Hello. I found a product that has really kept my hair frizz free. It is the hair drying headband. I use it every time I wash my hair. The company that makes it is dryhairday.

oooooh the kitty is magnifique♥
I'm going to try shaking my roots when it's wet and diffusing my layers before the lengths.

2nd day hair, did she use the spray bottle to get her hair that were or reset in shower/sink?
When drying what temp do you use during different phases??
How dry should your hair be when you start cupping and drying the layers
Bons produtos para a beleza,pois a modelo é lindíssima e simpática, parabéns ❤.
Loved your video thanks Sophie ❤
Aww yay! Thank you 🥰🥰
I'm so curious bout your haircut, tell me bout it plz!
I have a side part. Should I part my hair before or after I shower?
Of course I find this after my wash day 🥲
Can’t wait to try it on my next one though!
Is it applicable for everyday use? And is it good for 13y girl?

Hi There! What oil did you use before you went to sleep? I don’t think I saw it listed in the comments.
We have the same curls and I never put my hair up, even at the gym. It takes forever to style

Hello! ❤️thanks so much! I would love to film something like that!
What is the overnight oil you use?
Is the first spray bottle just water??
Yes ❤️

Hello thanks so much ❤️ it’s the coco & eve miracle elixir! I forgot to tag it in the description maybe. I love it so much! Great to seal the hair
@@sophiemariecurly Thank you! The other products I already use, but this one is new for me. I’ll buy it soon ♥️
Hi there! What is the oil you used in your hair before putting it up at night to sleep?
Coco & Eve Miracle Hair Elixir x
@@sophiemariecurly thank you!
Which microfiber towel do you recommend for micro plopping
I love the “perfect hair care” Microfiber towels they’re great! But I also recommend using a soft cotton T-shirt if you don’t want to buy a towel as they work the same!
We're over!
I loved it and I’ll try it 🌻♾️➰👩🏽🦱
can you please tell me where your robe is from!!! 😩
It's from H&M xxx
Omg! Aha moment! I have no scarves. ASatin pillowcase!🎉
👏🏼
I wish! I have always had naturally curly hair but now, in my 60's it's grey and thinning and frizzy and just plain sad .
The worse problem is having wavy curly frizzy hair
Can you share where you got your silver misting bottle? 😊
Yes ❤️ the exact link for mine I can’t find anymore but they sell the exact same ones now on Etsy - I see a few different colours, if you type in
“Silver Continuous Mist Bottle by Aussie Decor Transfers | 300ml” 💕

when u brush your hair make sure it’s wet and when u sleep use a bonnet to protect your curls from frizz and damage
Looks like Angelique!
All this work just for my friends to violently mess it up at school, so tragic 😔💔
