@@saphaedra Yes, it is technically the same thing, except it's raw. While you CAN buy gao fen, i've never actually seen it in a store before so it may be hard to find. What you can do is buy regular glutinous rice flour and cook it. Personally I just throw it into a pan, turn the heat to medium, shake the pan every once in a while until I feel like it's cooked, I want to say for about 6-7 mins. Let it cool and you can just use it however.

Cooked glutinous rice flour (basically heat treated glutinous rice flour)
