Definitely He was not the best defensive boxer. His over confidence made him to be reckless the most time. I don't understand why people idolize him as boxing GOAT. ✌️
@@drillyzz I think his stamina and physical strength to take punches. You can see the many times he lay back to the ropes and he ate some good punches like nothing. You can't lead his mental games without that attributes.
Good point. The GOAT status for anything is not just about skill alone. There were certainly better boxers than Ali, but he had probably the best business branding out of all of them. His poetic tough talk, the attention of the war that made him a political figure, his bravado of self proclaiming himself the GOAT, etc. Even people who knew nothing about boxing wanted to see him win or lose. It’s the same with Mayweather. He says it all the time - he understands the BUSINESS side of Show Business. Guys like that draw the crowds and are the guys you make movies about - not just the guy who quietly went undefeated. At least that’s my guess
Because he beat Joe Frazier, one of the 12 best ever, two out of three; beat George Foreman, one of the 12 best ever, decisively; beat Sonny Liston, one of the 15 best, easily; and because his 2 peak years were taken away from him.
This the greatest legend of the sport, no one has ever lost with so much dignity, never lost by the count of 10, Prime Ali does not lose with any of them, anyway Berbick did not win Ali, peri they did not give him the decision because otherwise he would have continued fighting and they were already forbidden to fight in the USA due to his state of health. RIP King Of Boxing 👑🥊

Frazier changed him. It changed him mentally and physically. Ali had to change his fighting style because of him. Ali won the next 2 but damn were they close. The third one is probably one of the closest ones.
Ali didn't train properly for the first Frazier fight. He should have waited for a few more months before taking on such a formidable opponent. Dundee said that before the fight in March 1971 he was going around like he was running for Mayor rather than being in the gym training for that fight. He is clearly out of condition watching the footage.
Thrilla In Manilla was essentially a draw. By the end of the 14th round Frazier was in a little better physical shape than Ali. Any of them could have been seriously hurt in the 15th. Ali and Frazier both super human athletes. I like Ali a lot but I think Ken Norton won all three of their fights. 🤼
All the winners of Muhammad Ali even Joe Fraźer will be forgotten in many years after , who will remembet of : Norton, Spink, Holmes, Berbick ? But Muhammad Ali stays the greatest heavyweight champion for ever .

He was small compared to Ali. He had NO CLASS and proved it by his actions following this fiasco of a fight. It was horrible, and Ali was obviously only in it for the MONEY......!

the problem with Mohamed Ali is that he left Jesus for Mohamed secondly he never used to tired opponent by bitting them around the trunk while most of his opponent used to bit him a lot to reduce his power and focus
When Ali was unable to dance for a full fifteen rounds against an opponent he was vulnerable to being hit, he was in fact quite easy to hit, and got easier to hit, as his reflexes slowed.

Ali’s ancestors were ashamed after the beating from holmes😂
He was old. Nobody managed to convince him to hang it up. He was asking for it. Even Holmes tried to get the referee to stop the fight.
Ali already had Parkinson decease when he fought Larry Holmes!
Tyson would of knocked the shit out of him 🏴
Nope.
@@blessmypeople2155 yep 🏴
Then you don’t kno boxing my friend from 1964 to 1968 no body could touch him even Tyson would have scummed he was to fast with his hands and his legs were legendary perfect dancing master
@@blessmypeople2155yep.
@@muhammedgulistan8022you can dance the tango for all i care, Tyson would have knocked him into obscurity.
He paid a terrible price for his physical toughness and indomitable will. But this is a different world for combat sports today. Fights are stopped quickly there are no unbeilvable combacks and in MMA there is an endless pressure to stop fights quicker and quicker. I get it but there is something magnificent about these life and death struggles precisely because there is a price to be paid and fighters know that better than anyone. But what amazing f’ing dudes 🔥👏👏👏
Today first time I saw the "Mohammed Ali"... covering his face and holding opponent' neck & shoulder with his hands to avoid fight.
❤ i like him😊
Lo he dicho varias veces.Ali debió haberse retirado muchos años antes
His doctor told him in the middle 70's that he should retire!! His body and head took a lot of hits!!!
I can’t believe how hard it is to knock out Ali tho. That’s insane
Because after he beat Liston he was heard in the shower yelling over and over, "I "is" the greatest!" and after that morons believed it.
That person who said he did not understand how Muhammad Ali became famous as one of the best boxers. Needs to do his homework.
Mohammad Ali took a brutal Fight! I want to give him his Bicycle Back in West Louisville Kentucky! Mohammad Ali R.I.P. Champ!
Mohamed ali is the greatest of al times
Ali lost 6 fight total
Definitely He was not the best defensive boxer. His over confidence made him to be reckless the most time. I don't understand why people idolize him as boxing GOAT. ✌️
i mean, his defence is his agility, he sometimes is fast to move away from comboes, but he is still the goat.
You’re a fool

Accepting defeat is the first stage of greatness...learn to accept it Lil boi
This the greatest legend of the sport, no one has ever lost with so much dignity, never lost by the count of 10, Prime Ali does not lose with any of them, anyway Berbick did not win Ali, peri they did not give him the decision because otherwise he would have continued fighting and they were already forbidden to fight in the USA due to his state of health.
RIP King Of Boxing 👑🥊
Nonsense
Ali was the biggest trash talker.
😂😂😂😂
According to the record book the big mouth draft dodger was defeated by 5 different opponents.
Cope
Joe Frazier did once, Ali doubled down on the next 2 bets.
The way these guys batted each other in the head over the years it's no wonder that they both died buggy in the head...
Henry Cooper's hammer smashed clay out. This footage missed this
What about Sugar Ray Robinson❤
Muhammad's peak was in the 60s but they wouldn't let him fight
M. Ali is all time great
You put the wrong fight poster up for the Spinks fight.
neither second nor third were close, Ali defeated him decisively
@@terrel4604get out blind, Ali has beaten up frazier after 8th raund up to 8 match wasnt even by 2 raund ali was ahead over frazier
All the winners of Muhammad Ali even Joe Fraźer will be forgotten in many years after , who will remembet of : Norton, Spink, Holmes, Berbick ?
But Muhammad Ali stays the greatest heavyweight champion for ever .
Only new age TikTok kids wouldn’t have a clue, real OG’s will forever remember them.
👍❤
damn frazier had some seriously powerful books- and leon spinks has t-rex arms
Yep. I believe that the Leon Spinks loss was the true end of Ali. I remember it like it was yesterday. Spinks was undoubtably THE Ugliest fighter ever in the Heavyweight division. He was small compared to Ali. He had NO CLASS and proved it by his actions following this fiasco of a fight. It was horrible, and Ali was obviously only in it for the MONEY......!
In the last round I can even see Joe Frazer telegraphing his punches: boxing is a very tiring activity
Magnificent fight
After watching this, I now see why Ali doesn't have as much KOs as George and Frazier.
tyson ndie bondia bora kuwahi kutokea duniani
Tyson Is the most overrated boxer of all time
It's sad to see tbh so much talent just never knew when to stop from the buzz you love and live for 🙄
we are unable to evaluate; Has Mohamed Ali sold matches?!
In his prime it would've been over for all concerned.. Magnificent fight.
No excuse in his prime this in his prime that all escuses.
@@TextilesGilton-k9che was in his 30’s after not being able to box for years 💀
the problem with Mohamed Ali is that he left Jesus for Mohamed secondly he never used to tired opponent by bitting them around the trunk while most of his opponent used to bit him a lot to reduce his power and focus
Leaving Jesus for Muhammad? Religion has nothing to do with boxing! 🙄
💩spotted
When Ali was unable to dance for a full fifteen rounds against an opponent he was vulnerable to being hit, he was in fact quite easy to hit, and got easier to hit, as his reflexes slowed.
George Frazier Vs Muhamad Ali
Muhammad Ali was a technical fighter .. he was not enough quick. If his opponent is quick he would easily beat Muhammad Ali
😂 Ali had the fastest hands and fastest reflexes of any heavyweight ever. In these videos and his losses he was slower. But even then Norton said”if the Ali I fought in the 70’s was slow I would not have wanted to fight him in the 60’s
@@tupole272 There sure are a lot of excuses for the so called greatest. LMAO
@@johnharris8191 Just saying. After a near 4 year layoff he wasn’t as fast as he had been. But he was still fast for Frazier and Norton just not as fast. Against Spinks and beyond he definitely had Alzheimer’s.

I really don't see why anyone would post this. Why would you want to see him in whose body had broken down had already the beginning of being punch drunk and watch him take a beaten
No Ali was never punch drunk, he had Parkinson's which makes you seem like you might be a little punchy but his wife said even in his later years he was still sharp mentally but you would never know it because of the Parkinson's

Ali was really the same after this fight and I think it caused him some lasting damage in the way he would talk that just got worse with time.
the people who said that Ali was "the greatest boxer of all time" must see this video. He was excellent in 60's but after was only sligh better than Norton or Frazier. He was the greatest personality in boxing all time, a hero for afroamerican people and after for all americans, for avoid the war against Vietnam.

Lol well being "slightly better than Frazier" definitely puts you in discussion for greatest of all time. Ali in his prime did amazing things in the ring and that shouldnt be downplayed just because of his later years.
@@rexmagi4606 "later"?. Ali was the better and fantastic from 1960 until 1967. After suspenssion, never was the same. The KO against Foremen was incredible, of course, but after that he receive excesive damage

Ali in his prime would’ve kicked Holmes ass period!! Rocky Marciano would’ve kicked Holmes ass too!! Holmes was an average fighter that fought guys that were already out of there primes!!
