    STEEL-CUT OATS: Steel-cut oats are simply the oat groat chopped into pieces. The cooked texture is quite chewy but also has a nice creaminess to it. Steal cut oats take about 15-20 minutes to cook on the stove top, so I wouldn’t consider them a quick morning breakfast. The 1/4 cup portion has about the same nutritional value as 1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats. While the volume of food is less, they’ll fill you up just as well!
    NUTRITIONAL SPECS:
    1/4 cup uncooked steel cut oats = 170 calories, 5 grams fiber, 7 grams protein
    “OLD-FASHIONED” ROLLED OATS:
    Rolled oats are created by steaming and rolling the oat groat. The steaming process partially cooks the oats, which creates a faster cook time at home. Rolled oats will cook in about 4-7 minutes on the stove top and produce a creamy but thick texture. They have a lot of substance to them, unlike quick rolled oats which almost completely lose their form after being cooked. Rolled oats are the most common type of oat used in baking.
    NUTRITIONAL SPECS:
    1/2 cup rolled oats = 190 calories, 5 grams fiber, 7 grams protein
    QUICK ROLLED OATS:
    Quick rolled oats are the most processed form of the oat grain, but they still hold a lot of nutritional value. Quick oats are, just like there name says, very quick to cook, as they’ve been rolled even thinner than the rolled oats above. They lose their chewy texture after cooking because of how thinly have are been rolled oat.
    NUTRITIONAL SPECS:
    1/2 cup uncooked oat bran = 170 calories, 4 grams fiber, 6 grams protein.
    Oats are a whole-grain cereal, known scientifically as Avena sativa. They are mainly grown in North America and Europe. good source of fiber, especially beta-glucan, and are high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Whole oats are the only source of a unique group of antioxidants called avenanthramides, believed to have protective effects against heart disease.
    Due to their beneficial health effects, such as lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels, oats have gained considerable interest as a health food . Oats are most commonly rolled or crushed, and can be consumed as oatmeal (porridge), in baked goods, bread, muesli and granola. Whole grain oats are called oat groats. Quick, or instant oatmeal is made up of more thinly rolled or cut oats that absorb water much more easily and therefore cook faster.

    Oats have a well-balanced nutritional composition, and one serving (30 grams) of oats contains 117 calories.

      Yes for protein u need to add Almonds, pista, peanut butter, Akhrot, Seeds(flaxseed, sunflower, pumpkin, chia), any of these or mix 2-3-4 things

      You can use both rolled oats or instant oats. Both has to be powdered. There is slight difference in nutrtional value.

No roti, No rice in dinner. soup aur salad se pet bharle. 10% hamesha pet khaali chodna chahiye . Rice, roti lunch nei lele. No overeating, no junk food.

    Is Barley Podrige Good? I mean Oats aur barley podrige me Koi difference hta hai?

      Barley porridge is very good. A bowl of porridge is good for your intestinal health. As a whole grain, it also has a lower glycemic effect and won't raise your blood sugar as much as, for example, a piece of white bread. However, if you are sensitive to gluten it is important to know that barley contains gluten..
      Barley has more fibre, protein as compared to oats. Regarding calories a bowl of cooked barley has more calorie than oats. Point is both are healthy option.

    Mam. True elements rolled oats for one cup oats 6 cup water I put to cook but nearly after 20 mins too..water didnt fully evaporate ...is water too much pls tell..

      Yes dear water is too much. Rilled oats dosent need so much water. Uska aap namkeen daaliya bana lete. Never mund reduce water next time. Water should be 1 inch above oats while cooking.

      If you can get rolled oats, take it, otherwise any oat is good. For weight loss u need to cut on sugar, salt, overeating, all junk food, take early dinner(soup, salad), take 3-4 litre water, lots of fruits, seeds.

      Actually oats are an healthy iption. Take rolled oats, Cook with milk and later on add these things as asource of protein--- badaam, pista, sunflower, pumpkin seed in it, also add peanut butter and have it.

      Aap koi bhi oats le lijiye. Kellogg's, bagry, savour. Jo easily available ho. Weight lose karne liyrt aap sugar, salt Kam Kare. Bhook se thoda Kam Khana khae 10-15 % Kam khaiye. Healthy food khaiye. Protein bada dijiye. Raat me Khana 7-8 baje Tak Kha le. Junk food na khae. Parathe, samose, bakery item, maida ki cheese na khae. Khane se pahle paani piye, phir Salad khae, phir Khana start Kare. Raat me roti ya rice na Lein. Egg roz khae boiled.

      Take any. Oats are always an healthy option. Eat it in a healthy way. Add a small handful of dried fruit, fresh fruit, sliced almonds or walnuts, or with flavorful spices such as cinnamon. Add fruit of your choice. Instead of sugar add dates for sweetness. Add flaxseed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds. I have uploaded many recipes of oats . Watch them.

      Rolled or steel cut oats are better. If u can get these oats, then it's good, otherwise u can also have instant oats. any oat is good for health.

      Take with low fat milk. Add sm nuts fruit seeds like sesame, sunflower, pumpkin.

      Agr khareed liya hai to usko use kariye. Next time Rolled oats lijiye ya instant oat lijiye low fat milk ke saath. Hamesha yaad rakhiye, weight loss karna hai, health ka loss nahi karna hai. Zyada tar log galti karte hai weight loss ke chakkar mei kam khate hai, aur nutrition bhi phir kam milta hai aur uska result hai low immunity। Corona ke time mei immunity badana hai, kam nahi karna hai। Aap ye saari cbeeze kam kar dijiye-- Oil, fried food, bazaar ka khana, maida, sugar.
      Ye cheeze lein--seeds, dry fruit 4-5, normal khana khai jo ghar me banta hai, bhook se thoda kam khae 80% khae, raat me khana 7-8 baje tak kha lein, lunch ya dinner start karne se pahle thoda pani pijiye, phir salad khaiye then ek roti ke saath sabzi, dal, low fat dahi khae.
      Itna follow karengi to dhere dhere wait kam hone lagega.1 month me agar 2-3 kg kam ho jaa raha hai, to bahut acha hai. Thoda exercise bhi karein. Thyroid me bhi weight kam ho jata hai bas thodi mehnat lagti hai

      agr rolled oats mil jae to behtar otherwise instant bhi chalega। Low calorie diet lijiye, oil, sigar, junk food, maida nahi lena hai. raat ka khane me soup, salad dal pijiye. no roto rice at night. sone se 3 ghante pahle dinner kariye. Eat seeds, almond 5, pista 5, fruits like papaya, apple,.
      eat healthy to lose weight otherwise weak ho jaengi.
      Do exercise, remain active.
