      Yeah but the average person grows 6 inches of hair a year, so if it took her 4 years to get to that length, then it's deftinely not rapid lol

      METH LIVES MATTER your hair will be greasy because your scalp produces excess oils because it’s washed too frequently which you do to avoid having a greasy head....it’s a vicious circle (I’ve been there and now just once a week!!!) Apply a light oil and leave for about an hour before washing and go as long as possible before washing....maximise between wash days by simple updo’s like buns and use a light hairspray (I use tigi brand in a tall turquoise kinda can)
      The whole process will be a slow one (2/3 months) but it’s worth it 😊 hope this helps

      my hair is super oily too, and I just had to be gross, wear hats, wrap my hair in scarves for the first two months of doing it until I started seeing difference. you can do it you! just have to be super proactive. try using less product too if you use any!! now I wash my hair every 3-4 days unless it's more gross for some reason. I also notice a huge difference when my schedule is off and I'm washing it more. i'll never go back!

    Brushing dry hair is not an option for curly/ wavy hair. Not only it is very damaging for hair, it also leaves you with a bunch of hay on your head😆.
    I only use wide tooth comb on wet hair.

    I work in a gross, hot, dusty warehouse and my scalp sweats like crazy, there is no way on earth I can wash my hair only every 3 days! My arms are often grey from the dirt and dust when I get home after work, so there is no telling what nastiness is in my hair!!! I skip on the weekends, but during the week there is no way I can skip a day of washing.

      Try washing with conditioner or using a shampoo with no sulfates. If it just dust and sweat that's in your hair, then just rinsing in water should be enough for daily cleanliness.

    I would recommend using argan life products…If you want to try just one product to see if you like it, I recommend their professional hair Treatment. I started using it a few weeks ago and I'm seriously shocked by how amazing it is. My dry time is so fast now, my hair is silky soft (I used to use so many layers of products to get it this smooth!) and it stays straight for days. My hair grow faster. It's amazing and I think you'll like it too.

    I have my hair the most porous ever since I've been bleaching it for almost at year. So I've been mixing argan, coconut and castor oils along with aloe vera gel and saturating my hair with that for a least 24 hours before washing my hair with a keratin shampoo and a keratin deep conditioner. I've noticed my hair is softer to touch and my curls are starting to appear again but I still have some parts around the crown area where is literally fried up, so i have to straighten it for it to look "good" to the eyes. Perhaps I'll include EVOO to this concoction and see what happens. I've been using this hair mask for 3 weeks now and it's worked so far. If someone else tries it out let me know!
    I love you Nikky!!! Lots of love and hugs for you and happy holidays and happy new year!!!

      Be careful with keratin and other protein products! Use them after bleaching a lot, and then once a week or so after that, and then once a month. If you use it too often it makes your hair too strong and makes it unable to bend, which makes it break!

    • @nashjohnjrvlogs5944
      @nashjohnjrvlogs5944 6 років тому

      Hannah is right! ! I only wash hair once a week but was using moroccanoil moisture repair shampoo and conditioner which contains keratin in both then also alternating it with th joico k pack intense hydrater which also contains protein so I got protein overload! Now I'm trying to put moisture back into my hair (it's so brittle,frizzy,dry) so be careful using keratin in every product. Limit it to jus one product! And don't use it for every wash!

    All vegans and vegetarians who eat enough calories for their body weight each day are getting enough protein. There is no such thing as a protein deficiency if you are getting enough calories and eating a balanced diet. Remember, all vegetables have protein!

  • @missmayaem
    @missmayaem 6 років тому +10

    I love your channel and this video! good job!!! However, you might want to research a bit on protein... First, it is not an issue for neither vegans or vegetarians. If you are on ANY balanced diet and you eat enough calories, you eat enough proteins. But, it can be a problem if you are on restrictive diet 9calorie deficit) and that also applies for omnivores. You could basicaly eat only blueberries, as long as it is enough calories, and have enough proteins... but also major deficiencies in all kinds of other stuff...

    hi. i wanted to ask you one thing because i feel like if i can get a good and full answer for this, you are the one to come to. 😇💞
    ok so since 2013 i've been slowly losing hair, it's just been falling off. i've had a really rough few years (severe depression, anxiety) ever since about november 2014. it's been getting better slowly ever since july 2015 but i still have my rough paths. so a little background: i used to have a lot of hair but now i have like 1/3 left. i've never used much heat (literally like maybe 2 times a year or less even), i don't colour it or anything, i've always washed it every 2 days, even when it hadn't started falling off. i've always eaten well and drank a lot of water. i trim my ends roughly once in every 6-8 weeks.
    i'm honestly afraid after all these years that my hair won't grow back and i'm only 20. i've tried to be consistent with using oils (i mainly use castor oil), massaging my scalp and eating more omega 3 fats and vitamins alongside a good diet, but i seem to forget about it way too often.
    so my question is: do i just have to be more consistent and wait so it grows back or is there a possibility that it will never grow back (as in is it possible my follicles have somehow been damaged beyond repair)? 🤔😰
    thank you so much for your videos and all the best for 2018 😊💗

    • @FancyHairTutorials
      @FancyHairTutorials  6 років тому +6

      thanks for your question! it sounds like it might be a result of genetics, stress or hormones or possibly a combination of all 3. I would recommend talking to your doctor and getting tests done to figure out what's causing the hair loss. wishing you the best of luck!

    Question what if you are taking a shower and you get your hair wet but not wash it does that count as like “washing it” or does it still count as not. Here’s the thing I was 17-year-old sister and my mom insists that she washes her hair every day because her hair is so oily like it’s disgustingly oily. Our mom doesn’t except that I have learned that not washing your hair every day lessons the oils in your hair. But I’m thinking that maybe if my sister just gets her hair wet when she’s in the shower my mom won’t know the difference I know that sounds silly but I’m wondering if that still is considered “washing it”.
    Another thing you mentioned is to not brush your hair when it’s wet what if you have a wet brush is that ok to use to brush when your hair is wet?

    • @SoniaV.0
      @SoniaV.0 6 років тому

      Well, what you suggest is kinda no shampoo method called water-only. But I know you don't mean it like that. If your sister needs to wash her hair everyday she could try to train her hair bc no one will notice I guess. Hope she'll have success bc my hair can't be trained :/

My hair can't be trained I tried it several times. And furthermore if you get the dry shampoo on your scalp (which is like every tine) it leads to more oil production which is why whenever I use dry shampoo after while it's like I didn't do anything. But nice tips :) I would also recommend massaging your head.

      have you tried using a natural dry shampoo like corn starch or cocoa powder that won't disrupt your pH balance?

    • @SoniaV.0
      @SoniaV.0 6 років тому

      I'm going to. I'll search in store for cornstarch because we have only "potato starch" in our house which have weird consistency that I can't image soaking up oils. I'm afraid of staining things with the cocoa because I know how it looks like when cocoa explodes you in a kitchen. But I'll try. Thank you for answering. :)

    I keep kosher but if you mean lean as in salmon and almonds and cow meat I'm golden. I'm very short so do you think height has anything to do with how long my hair grows because within a year or so my hair grew from 8 inches to 20 inches

    How do you NOT brush wet hair? If I let my hair dry after I wash it without brushing, I'll never be able to brush it again

      celia I used to say the same thing but I started brushing my hair before showering and it works. Just imagine getting your hair wet and then having to brush all the tangles out. Your hair is more vulnerable wet so that’s why a lot of people recommend brushing hair before

      Brushing dry hair is not an option for curly/ wavy hair. Not only it is very damaging for hair, it also leaves you with a bunch of hay on your head😆.
      I only use wide tooth comb on wet hair.

      Anastasiya Badi Idk your hair texture but make sure your buns/braids are loose and sleep on a satin pillowcase (one can get one from the dollar store if you’re on a budget)

      I've been told that sleep with a braid would make the hair longer🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

      BRAIDS! Not pony tail!! I don't even recommend buns so much... It used to hurt my scalp while I slept in them. But braids are the best to protect your hair as you sleep. Just a single braid.. That'll do. And if you can, purchase a satin pillow case.

    The technique you described for trimming is called dusting. I was warned by my hair stylist that it weakens the hair and I should not do it.

    "never brush your hair when it's wet" girl you can't brush curly hair while it's DRY!! Unlike straight hair, it can be more damaging if you brush your curly hair while it's dry! And it's HELL.
    Also even if someone had straight hair... How do you guys distribute the conditioner in the shower.. You have to at least comb it be via comb it fingers!!!

      People are always desperate to hear some secret to growing hair lol.. But the truth is, the secret is patience. Hair grows constantly and on its' own. People just need some hope that they can help it.
