Entangled Seal Seeks Help From 'Bodyguard'
Вставка

- Fortunately, the “seal bodyguard” didn’t do his job very well and Tony could catch the entangled animal with the big net. It was a big seal and Tony waited for Naude’s help to perform the rescue. We have all gained much-needed experience over the years, but dealing with a seal bull on your own is a big risk. Anything can happen, so having extra hands on deck will always be best and safest.

That bodyguard was doing a good job until all the seals realized you were there to help. Then they stood aside and watched their friend begin the first day of the rest of his life. Thanks for saving him, Antoine and Naude!🦭♻️👏
Perfect summary. ❤
"Hey, this guy's after me! Help!"
"Oh nah, he's gonna help you. Seen him before. You'll be fine."
The big boy was just like you think your gonna fit me in that puny net. Nice try young bull but you will get your help when Tony is on duty.
What a sad looking environment.... Thank you all for what you do to save the poor seals...
Antoine is fearless.
Hi all!
This is impressive! Three bodyguards! The largest seal remained next to the rescued one until the last moment, but did not prevent him from falling into Tony’s net. Naude showed up just in time. The double strap can be removed very easily. And at the end the funny thing is that the seal jumped out of the net, perked up a little, and then saw the hose behind which he had been sleeping before he was rescued, and decided that he needed to finish the dream)))
Thanks guys!

Hi. Another lovely comment, and your usual message telling us what to do to help support OCN.😊
@@Mcat7101 ,дякую! 😊
Big one stuck his nose up as if he "knew" there was no way that puny net was getting over his head and must be for the other seal.
@@LiamWakefield😂😅😂 He wasn't worried, was he?
Glad Naude showed up when he did, handling the larger seals single-handedly cannot be easy.
🙂👍
Great job. He is big! Thank you for saving him.
👍
Love how the regular guys know you are OK and they won't stop you from helping.
Lucky, bodyguards were peaceful 😊💙💙💙. The male was gig one to save. Thank you, Tony and Naude for helping him out of trouble ❤❤🌊🦭.
Those large bull seals are so laid back, there's not to much running around to catch him, good work Tony and Naude, he was soon released from the death trap. Thankyou OCN. 🤗💝🏴
cool the bodyguards waiting for work to finish to return to duty
😁
Thanks guys.
👍
Not only impressive bodyguards, but your bravery against 4 gigantic opponents. But you still talk so sweetly to them and get the job done. You’re all heroes. ❤
Well, the bodyguard did help ... you. Good word about the OCN team from Big Julius must be getting out among the seals there.
That net is strong💪
Thanks Team OCN for helping that big boy 🤗
Very brave going in solo like that Antoine! Thankfully you had back up! Great job at saving this big boy!
I like how the bodyguard really wasn't bothered by Antoine's presence, even when the net was almost on him. Seems like he just wanted to get back to sleep.
Thank you for saving this boy, Antonio and Naude you are very brave that was a big seal.
Thank you my heroes for saving him ❤️ greetings to all 😊🙋🏼
@hendriklurse6518, greetings 😊👋🙋♀.
Uncle Tony's talks are GOLD.
Tony's talking to the seals always makes me laugh. He greets them: "Hello! It's me". 😄🙋♂👋
Antoine is dancing with the seals!😉🤩
The target seal should have pinned his hope for protection on another bodyguard. This one wasn't fazed much and didn't run away but didn't help either. Thank you Antoine and Naude for saving this seal's life.
These seals are so relaxed. That was quite the rescue ❤
👍
Clever seal, to stay close to his huge seal buddy, but Antoine isn't deterred that easily! Fortunately, Naude arrived right on time to help remove the straps. Thanks guys!💕🦭
🙂👍
Interesting to see that the seal listens to the request and moves~😅
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
He's getting saved whether he likes it or not.
Antoine and Naude, you never cease to amaze! Thank you for saving this magnificent fellow, it almost seemed like he knew you were there to help.❤️👍🙏🏻
That was a big boy, Tony! Thankfully Naude came to help. Love the teamwork! Team OCN❣️
Those big seals are intimidating! Good thing the "Bodyguard" seemed still a bit sleepy to be protection. Good job Tony and Naude.❤❤❤
I love harbour seals, they are so laid back. Nothing scares them. Great job Tony, I was glad that Naude arrived to help you. Thanks guys.
Sorry to contradict you, but Harbour Seals are smooth skinned and tend to live in the Arctic. The ones in Namibia are Cape Fur Seals.
These are Cape Fur seals...in the southern hemisphere. Harbour seals are in the north, in the arctic.
They're just referring to the fact that these Cape Fur Seals are part of the group who like to hang at the harbour at Walvis Bay. But yes, you're right, the terminology does also refer to a different seal species from the Arctic.
@LiamWakefield I knew what was meant, I just couldn't resist the urge to have a little dig.
It's mostly the males that hang out, with their buddies, at the docks. It's a good place to chill, away from the kids and the blooming missus.
NYC one ❤ to you'll ..you are amazing..that was unbelievable if i didn't see i wouldn't believe... thank you so much my Gs
👍
Naude timing was flawless!!! That really was a Big guy to take on solo, Tony!!!
They look extremely strong animals, you guys are truly brave dealing with them. Yet the older ones seems more laid back than the smaller younger ones. It's like "oh man I was sleeping, what are you doing, oh ok thanks, now can I go back to my spot and sleep?" You really are a cool crew.
it's always great to have bigger seals watching out for you, but when the people from OCN are coming in for the rescue, the bigger seals know, there's nothing they can do to stop your rescue. great save, and a seal that will be much happier👍👍
The big one was incredible. Somehow he knew, it was not his turn to go into the net. Hilarious and beautiful episode!
Thank you! ❤❤❤ OCN!
Interessant, der große Bulle nahm die Rettungsaktion ganz gelassen.
Thank you, men, for what you do!
Our efforts are just a drop in the bucket compared to the millions of tonnes of trash entering the world's oceans every year.
We are unfortunately not solving the problem, but only treating the symptoms of the plastic crisis with our rescues. These videos aim to show the consequences of this pollution and create a change to tackle its roots - namely our addiction to single-use plastics, the lack of law enforcement at sea, and the shortcomings of the recycling industry.
I'm glad Naude showed up to assist! Good work gentlemen!
I love the way the other seals just mosey off a few feet away, because they're obviously used to your presence, and know the drill. Just another day at the pier... 😁
I so admire your focus and determination, Tony & Naude, in rescuing these big bulls on such hazardous terrain. Thank you.
🙂👍
His roll out of the net was like " I'm cool, I'm cool, I meant to do that." 😅
😁
Sweet! He came out of the net really easy with that barrel roll he did!
He was such a big powerful seal.
Job well done👍🏴
I love listening to Antoine's commentary ❤
Me too! It's one of the things I live about these guys!
The seal made me laugh as he rolled out of the net to continue his day. Well done for saving him❤
👍
Thank you Antoine & Naude, that would have just got tighter as he grew! My friend & I picked up almost 2 full bags of junk dumped by lazy humans! Have a wonderful weekend OCN & God Bless you all. Love from me in PE 🇿🇦😃
You guys are amazing. I mean that. When I think of the sheer number of sea life you have disentangled, it's astounding! Eventually the vast majority would have died slow, painful deaths! You spend your time saving animals, essentially cleaning up humanities messes. God bless you for it! ❤
These big guys are so strong! Glad he didnt fight you!
Very brave tony, with the big bouncer at the side of you while you netted the seal ,
You kept your calm while Naude came to help
Thank you guys
🫶⭐😇🏴
Glad Naude showed up just in time. That was one big seal to handle - it must weigh 5 times as much as you Tony. Great teamwork as always guys!
You men make it look so easy. A lucky bull with no damage by the entanglement yet, and a smooth release from the net. Thank you, Antoine and Naude.
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.
Little one's like "Dude! Halp!" Big one's like "Calm down, he's just here to help your dumb arse." 😁
"Spike's my friend cuz he's so big and strong" 🤣
❤
Danke 💖
🙂👍
The bull says, "Oh, that wasn't so bad"
🇺🇦❤️🙏Thank you very much Team OCN. Good job.
👍
it´s almost like they knew you gonna help them, they were not really afraid it seems.
They seem calm as you walk up to them. Thank you
❤Team OCN! very cooperative for a big one! 👍😎✊
👍
Muchas gracias por vuestro trabajo 😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇪🇸🙋🏻♀️💙🧒🏻🦭🦭🦭
👍
Good job!
Soon as he was released, he went back to the spot he and his pals were and looked as if he's sayin' "hey where my posse go?!"
Amazing Thank You
❤❤😊❤❤
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.
3:25 Seal looked like he was considering going back to his nap spot behind the big hose.
That was a graceful roll out of that net. Almost balletic.
WoW... Great Job...
Backup showed up to the scene at the perfect time. Thank you for saving the fur seals from their entanglements ❤❤
Great job men. He's safe now so thank you both!
🙂👍
🤣Some bodyguard. 🤣"You're on your own, pal. I'ma be over here doing nothing while you tango with the hooman."
💗💗 Thank You OCN 💗💗
👍
Terrible body guards, lol. They were like, "You're on your own dude."
😂
What always surprises me is the actual length of the entanglements. Just looking at these seals, it is never clear how big they actually are.❤
That boy’s bodyguards-Larry, Moe and Curly- seemed to realize that their help wasn’t needed and casually moved off to the side to get a ringside seat to watch these pesky humans do their lifesaving work. If only more of them got the memo that these men with nets were there to help. Well done Tony and Naude
🦭🌊💙
it does seem like they understand what's going on sometimes. I'm hoping that after enough generations go by there will be some kind of ancestral knowledge in those seals that tells them to cooperate with the people who are trying to help ❤ them
Thank you again team Ocn
Olá meus anjos do mar força campeões que Deus abençoe vocês meus amiginhos que lindo demais você é uma força da natureza trata esses ser vivos com um grande carinho obrigada ❣️❣️❣️🙏🙏🙏
Thank you.
👍
That was weird. I could smell the dock water as you were trying to catch him. But must have been something wafted in on the breeze here in the Spanish countryside. 😊
I can't buy, but i can see your channel and give You tumbs up. Thanks for your job and thanks for your love for the world
Naude!! FLIP FLOPS??????? careful of those toesies!
Interesting that he ran a little way away then stopped. On the beach it's *everyone* to the water no matter what.
Nice job netting and freeing him of the straps. 👍
On the beach they see every other seal panicking. These solitary bulls just take a good look, decide it isn't a thread to them and they aren't going to waste any effort.
Yes and it seems that with more general human hustle and bustle going on around them the seals may be a little more desensitised to the presence of the OCN crew. Besides also being more confident due to their size, I suppose.
El animalito se va como diciendo "no sentí que me hicieran nada"
Un abrazo
🙂👍
Mission accomplished with skill
And dedication!
Thank you as always, for helping him. ❤OCN
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.
You are all heroes!
That was a smooth release! 😄❤
😁
He headed right back to where he had been napping. Not a care in the world. 🦭 Lucky seal!
Thank you. 🦭
Great wingmen!
Great rescue as always.
👍
wow that got a bit dangerous Tony but turned out well!
Oh my, seal bull needs better bodyguards! Thank heaven they left the rescuers to do their job, though! 😉
I was glad to see Naude show up, thinking bull wrestling is not something Tony (or anyone) should do alone.
Thank you to team OCN for another precious life saved!! 💙🖤🤍
Thank you for your dedication and hard physical work to save these beautiful seals.
This is a skill we wish we never had to develop, but we are unfortunately very experienced by now.
seems he knew you were after his bling, nice rescue
