Thank you for your clear and concise video. I have just bought a G3670 but found the instructions on line a liite confusing when it came to putting printheads in. Whn I looked at the contrast of blue plastic I did not think it was part of the printer and was apprehensive of fiddling with it, in case of damaging.I am not digitaly minded, but Thought the plastic may have been part of packaging , or not. I phoned for help to Canon, although willing, the person did not know much more than I about my model, and the blue plastic. I had found your video in the meantime, and it assisted me to definitely search further.
Could you help me? I bought the same printer when I finshed fill the ink and place the head printer. It appears massage on the screen that the maintenance cartridge is cannot recognizeed . It still not work
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your printer. Are you using the original ink bottles, or are they from a generic brand? If this is a new printer, it should still be under warranty. I recommend contacting Canon support and having your serial number ready.
That's not the difference, cartridge printers have print heads as well. The print heads are basically what the ink flows through from the bottles/cartridges to the printing mechanism. These are just easier to install and uninstall than older printers which is awesome.
My prints keep coming out lighter than I want, do I need Canon specific paper or do I need to return this printer I did nozzle checks and a nozzle cleaning but it still prints lighter than I expected
Don’t think canon specific paper is a requirement for this printer. If you are able to print your documents better on other printers, then it seems you may have a faulty printer. Before you return though, please make sure you can print your same document darker elsewhere.
Easy and helpful video!
Thank you!

This video and all the comments have been a huge help!

@EcoFriendlyDeals Yes I used original ink .
What are print heads for? I’m new to understanding how printers work
Instead of traditional cartridges, this uses ink bottles- that’s the difference.

Do you know how we can print odd and even pages? Is this possible?
What app do you use? Does the app have the drivers for your laptop?
The phone app is called Canon Print. This App directly connects to the printer through WIFI.
Can I pour only some of the ink for testing purposes or do I need to pour the entire bottle ?
Ideally you should pour it all, not sure if you can save the ink for later use.
If you run the ink low it will damage your printer. You can Google it.
Thanks
Filled the ink, before it said "single sided printing only" 😢😢😢
Yep, agree. for some reason this one only allows single sided printing.

What a shame its only single sided printing, I would of bought it, but for the price, really why isn't it double sided printing?
Double sided printers are tend to be more expensive - so, this is just to keep the cost down.
