Why need Harry tell many lies and so many little lies about everything (when his grandgrandmother died on the book, when his mother bought an Xbox in the book etc)? Is he a compulsive liar?
I don't understand the problem of jealousy between brothers because, if William will have a role of king, Harry could be a good general in the Army or something good also. Each person has a role in life. I believe that is much more than jealousy of William's role. Maybe is jealousy of William's achievements like a beautiful wife who is perfect in her role, three kids etc.

Every time I want to make up with my family after a fight, I always begin by publishing a book trashing them with horrible insults and revealing private family secrets to the whole world, then I go on TV saying hey let's make up I'm ready for a groveling apology now. so I can really relate to Harry.

Being a member of the British royal family is a complex challenge.
If Harry decided he wanted a different life, he could have withdrawn from his old life gracefully.

I would agree except I think he is emotionally ill as well as mentally ill . He has been disillusioned by different sources . I think his drug use is one, I believe the death of his mother did damage him but not in the way he thinks and I truly believe his wife has played a con job on him but he doesn't want to believe it. I feel kind of bad for him when he says sibling rivalry because as a firstborn, I see this rivalry from my sister, but the problem is, I didn't look at her as a rival growing up. There wasn't rivalry for me. She was not even my competition. She wasn't on the same page, or in the same level, or in the same category to be my rival. It's astounding to me because one day she told me she even used to count the candies in our Easter baskets, and if she thought I got more than her she'd take chocolates. I never even noticed. It's not that I didn't notice her as a person, but I was definitely not engaged in petty comparisons.
William is the firstborn son. William is destined to be King. There never was real sibling rivalry. They never had equal roles from the start. I wish that Harry could have embraced his role and filled it with all of the honor and dignity that he had to be one of the greatest supports of the future king.
So as one firstborn commenting about another, I doubt William ever saw him as true rival. That implies relative equality, but Harry is not taking into consideration the responsibility that comes with being a first born, not to mention the copious additional responsibilities that come with being a future king. Envy is such a waste of energy.
It’s also so short-sighted. He’s had immense luxuries as a prince and he has whined for years including in his book about getting the short end of the stick and being overlooked. He is very unfulfilled and I think it’s internal disfunctions but he projects it onto everything and everyone else.

It bothered me that he didn't actually respond appropriately when Anderson (using solicitation) said something to the effect of: "some might say your family might be afraid to speak to you, worrying that you'll tell everyone about the private conversation." And rather than Harry saying that it was a legitimate fear or that he wouldn't do that going forward, he instead says something like "this all started by them leaking things to the media about Meghan." I mean that's literally just deflecting Coopers statement. I can't say I blame the Royals for not wanting to talk to him. Whether they or people on their staff leaked things to the press or not. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately I can relate to William. My sister is 23 years my junior, the youngest of 4, I am the oldest. She married a guy that is the male version of MM,a real piece of work. A nightmare for our family.
I feel sorry for the child who lost his mother. He's far beyond childhood, though, and if he needs psychological help, he should get it. His brother also lost his mother, yet doesn't constantly bring it up.
I think one never understand how is it to live with a future king who is very respected and you are forced to take the role of the neglected and spare. Perhaps Harry loved him and put up with it but in his heart he felt envy. Childhood effect people differently even if they come from the same house and each of the brothers has his own character. It helps to have Kate by your side who came from a very close family and can help William. It seems Harry is not supported and misguided I do hope he will take time to process what is going on in his chaotic life and learn to keep his private life to himeself there is only a limit what we can digest its very difficult to see the destruction in every sentence when he means really to correct. In regard to what Greg said about Harry's disgust over people crying over his mother as he took and laid their flowers on the memorial pile: A year ago, Harry said at the time this happened, he was angry at those people for crying because Diana belonged to him and not to them and how dare they grieve for her when the grief belonged to him and they didn't really know her.
He still felt that way when he said this in an interview a year or so ago. A 6 yr old might see it this way, but he is still a 6 yr old emotionally when it comes to sharing his love for his mother with strangers. And Meghan has used this vulnerability over and over to manipulate him and separate him from his father and brother and to get him to fight for state security which she wants only for prestige. She's the one who calls the paps to come and chase her. H will never progress emotionally as long as she is massaging his 6 yr old feelings and keeping his resentment going. She is a cruel sociopath. And every time he opens his mouth now against his family, you can hear her behind the words. Poor Harry.

The tabloids didn't even have the story at that time so there's no way William was being influenced by the reporting. This is the reason Harry is so vague and doesn't give specifics. He knows that it would make Meghan look bad and confirm the rumours. William was being a good boss and a good brother. It wasn't the first time they'd been spoken to about it either, allegedly. It's said the Queen had to speak to both of them about the way they spoke to staff.

Also, as the experts pointed out, he was not precise, he simply insinuated what might or might not have happened. It's clear he's relishing trashing his family and he doesn't care how much they suffer. Jealousy of his brother oozes out of every pore. His actions will earn him alot of money, not that he needs it. Meanwhile his family, who cannot fight back, will continue as before, not just going to dances in posh clothes, but helping out in many ways, like The Prince's Trust, which does so much for so many. If Harry's actions have diminished his family's ability to help others, shame on him.

I am reading his book and I believe he is still in process about it all. @@Webnut I agree with your assessment of Harry here. He is on a powerful healing journey that requires a lot of courage. He has some youthful ignorance and bravado in it, but that will become seasoned with time. I do, however, sense his wife could be a narcissist and that his relationship with her will be something he has to also separate himself from over time. I sense that his woundedness is what enables their bond and someday he will outgrow his woundedness and therefore, what she seems to represent to him now.
