- New video with PHOTOS added here! • + Photos! Fireball in ... (read below for more info)
Raw video of something in the sky over Stockholm, Sweden! (Ball of fire? Meteor burn? Jet stream?) Will update with more information if it becomes available. Video taken on 2015-12-14 in Stockholm, Sweden. (Excuse the shakiness of the video, was not expecting to see this event at all and was quite taken by surprise!) The video is ZOOMED-OUT at one point to show the trajectory & earlier trail left by this object. ((UPDATE: Someone said that the object may have been part of the 'Geminids' meteor shower / Others have said that it burned too long and is likely a meteor fireball / Another user says it's a plane in the sun)) Still no verification of what was in the area at that time, will continue to update if more info becomes available. Very incredible to see LIVE! : )
p.s. Please leave a comment if you have information regarding this event, thanks!
p.s.s. Feel free to share this video with agencies or individuals who may be able to supply a more detailed explanation of what this event was. Thanks : )

Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)
UFO 2015-12-14 U.F.O. over Sweden
Time of occurrence: around 14:36 (02:36 PM)
Sunset highlighting the contrails of a commercial airliner with a nice shiny underside reflecting said same sun.
I saw exactly the same as this a couple of years ago over my house here in the UK......no explanation was ever found. I saw it a year before 20 miles from my house in the middle of the night as well ( night working at the time), no explanation for that either.
Looks like space junk making a re-entry. Asteroids and meteors travel much much faster. Good thing it all burned up tho. Wouldn;t want to get konked on the head with something like that!
Looks like a rocket trail. Maybe space junk skimming across the upper atmosphere?
Great video, Perfect panning & zooms.
It's an aircraft producing a contrail, lit up nicely by the sun.
wow, awesome catch

+kootallica Were you facing towards the sunset or away from it? I have seen very similar things around sunset and they are sunlit aircraft trails, with the bright object being the reflection of the sun from the plane itself. I am trying to identify the flight now.
+Colophon Hi Colophon, I believe I was facing west (possibly a bit southwest), towards the sunset. I was looking into the direction of where the sun was setting (although i could not see the sun any longer as it was low). At the 00:25 mark in the video you can see where the sun had been earlier (it set somewhere behind those buildings) but at that moment it was just a lightly glowing area. Thank you for any help : )
Reply #2: I've uploaded another video here: ua-cam.com/video/ZkiSJEIEo58/v-deo.html which includes PHOTOS that were taken directly before the video recording. Maybe this will help people come to a better conclusion on what this event was. Thanks again for your help : )

+Colophon Hello my friend! That is very interesting info : ) I have double checked the time on my camera and it is correct, so the times do not seem to line up exactly, but your scenario could still be correct. I am trying to use that site which you mentioned in your comment and this looks to be where your plane was during the time I took the photos: PIC #1 i.imgur.com/0dkiDgS.jpg Here is another photo which I would like to ask you a question about: PIC # 2 i.imgur.com/1GafpLV.jpg Would I be able to see a plane that far away from where I was standing? I was located (in PIC #2) where I have drawn a small red X above the letter O in the word Stockholm PIC # 2 i.imgur.com/1GafpLV.jpg
Big thanks for all your help so far Colophon, it is greatly appreciated : )
p.s. I've uploaded a new video showing some of the PHOTOS that I took before filming the event: ua-cam.com/video/ZkiSJEIEo58/v-deo.html

+Colophon Thanks Colophon, you've got me interested in that flight pattern site now : ) I don't think it was the Air France flight as the object I saw was moving in a northward direction and a different angle. I'm thinking your mention of the Norwegian flight (in your earlier comment) could be the object I saw that day. I'll continue looking into this (learning as I'm going). Appreciate your time & effort and feel free to chime in with more info any time you'd like. Thanks for all the help : )

Wonder were there going on holiday
Exactly
Too long burn to be meteor also travelling straight not falling to the ground more like fire ball
00:45 you can see the "bubbles" in the clouds...obviously
Are we sure this isn't a reflection off a Chemtrailing airplane?
Moving awfully slow for a Meteor.
Awesome video.
Peace.
+RockStarPreacher And she's not breaking up at all, so either it's an airplane or a UFO.
I don't think it can be put in the 'rock' category.
+RockStarPreacher yeah! simple airplane
