Man. I was in golf shores month ago. The water out there in the Gulf I swear water was 90 degrees. Water wasn't warm, it was hot!

It's more likely not that people don't listen... it's probably more likely they don't have the resources to leave. (Finances, family & friends special circumstances.. fuel & transportation, etc. can all be contributing factors that make it impossible to leave.) They also nay not be able to tolerate or ambulate at the other location.

Hi Rebecca, I am not a meteorologist as you already know , and I am the first one not desiring a repeat on the hardest hit areas by hurricane Helene, but unfortunately the Gulf waters are still warm enough to create a major hurricane, and as it happened to us in Miami during the brutal hurricane season of 2005 when we got hit twice during the same season, first by hurricane Katrina and shortly after by hurricane Wilma, both of them major hurricanes, same thing could eventually happen to them on the hardest hit areas by Helene. I know is too early to say but yes, unfortunately chances are that those same areas might be again on the path of another major hurricane. I hope that won`t be the case, but I still recommend to the residents in areas such as the Folrida panhandle and surroundings to not let your gurds down yet. I would like to add that this isn`t by no means the final word on the areas of low pressure at this time boiling on the Gulf waters for them to become hurricanes, but this is rather my personal opinion based on my own prior experience on hurricanes I myself have been through ever since the years 2005 to present in the MIami area. My prayers are with all of those still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene, bst rgs
Lord we don’t need another storm. I live in North Carolina, our western part of the state can’t take anymore. Our mountains have lost lives and the devastation is horrific.

Unfortunately, the Florida Gulf Coast resembles the United Kingdom after the blitz during World War Two.

One meteorologist said he never has seen anything like Helene, but there was no alarm in his voice. No "holy cow!" No "what's up with the weather?!". Just a calm "I've never seen anything like this." Logically that response doesn't make sense
