This is my first comment on any channel ever. The thing is how can I thank uh sir without you I am nothing Love you .please keep uploading such staff this is really helpful
So, I am now here studying for my college entrance exams and I really wanna thank you because it helped me a lot in understanding this topic. Too bad I haven't watched this for my Earth Science subject before.
Thank you so much for this i'm a geology student from Algeria and even though we do study in french this made it so easiy for me so thank you so much really ! you're very good at explanation ! keep up !
Great Video! by any chance, can you make a video about mass wasting. if you could, that would be much appreciated. I cant seem to get a grip of the topic, hahahah. Anyways, thanks
This video scares me. I'm afraid one day rivers will take over our landscape, coming through our streets and cities, covering highways blocking transportation, etc.
Are you going to talk about wind erosion as well? how about ice or glaciers Mike? And I request of summarizing all about erosion. I love this water erosion video because I understand it very well. But I'm confused about the flow of how am I going to report about erosion and deposition. And is deposition the same as sedimentation?
I just down loaded your app. I tried to download the notes worksheet to go with this video (I am a high school Earth Science Teacher) , there is an error in the PDF for the notes sheet.
It seems to me that your distinction of weathering and erosion is not generally accepted. Erosion is often understood as INCLUDING the weathering, not only the transport away from the site. That inclusion makes sense to me, because the two processes often happen simultaneously: for example, a flood loosens the sand in a dam adjacent to the flooding river AND transports the sand away. . . . Is your distinction of weathering and erosion the accepted standard within geological science, or do geologists use erosion also to include weathering sometimes?
I've watched another video of yours about weathering, see ua-cam.com/video/ewj629B4Oe8/v-deo.html For me as a layman, it was not weathering in general but ABRASION that often happens simultaneously with erosion, because if a small particle is thrown against the rock by wind or water and separates another particle from that rock, the first step of erosion of transporting away has happened already. Much of physical weathering is abrasion, as you said, therefore, the border between weathering and erosion seems to me often not sharply defined.
Of course it does! Heavier materials will settle faster than lighter materials. Just not something I addressed in this particular video, the focus was more on sorting.
Omg this was great! It actually explained to me what i didn't understand at all about the Rivers topic in Geography. Thank you, loved the explanation with examples and pictures and GIFs
And I think the deposition locations are the perfect places to look for fossils. I wish you had a series about fossil hunting as well. Thanks for all the great info. :D
I don't know why you're videos have few views when it's yours that are really insightful and informative.I've been visiting checking your channel for a long time now and i sincerely hope you for more prosperity.THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR.yOU HONESTLY HELPED ME PERFECT MY TEST.
Exceptionally brilliant...ur Peadogogy speaks volume of ur knowledge over these subjects.. U have crumbled Himalaya into clay... Made this puzzling topic a plaything
Rivers usually make delta at their old or saline stage when they are about to merge with ocean....river divide itself into different streams...a picture of delta will make uh undrstnd wht it actually is..
I wanna ask about deposition at the curve, like at 14:11, the outter coast down left is kinda flat. Also if zou look at the famous Horseshoe Bend, the outer coast is flat and inside is steep, what can cause that?

Thank you for your explanation about river its erosion and sediments. It was very interesting and educational. Thank you 😊

Haha, I got the chance! Earth Science is the whole reason I'm watching this! :D
"In this video we're going to continue out look at weathering... In this video we're going to continue out look at weathering"
I thought my hearing glitched
Cells within cells
Me when I forget to cut the first take. Even though I was deliberate enough to put in the graphic twice
Crazy how much this helps . Thank you bud
Thanks for the clear and super informative video!

Very good video. Just voice is too low
Good explanation...thanxx a ton..
i have a question.
20:10 does rocks tend to get much lager or get smaller?
smaller bc of erosion and wethering

Great video, it was presented in a way where anyone could understand and follow along.

Thanks it was a very good explanation🤗🤗
Mr Savages period 4 class????
Hi
Uo
can someone tell me what delta is?
a landform made of sediment that is deposited where rivers flow into oceans or lakes. if you google a picture it’s easier to understand
Rivers usually make delta at their old or saline stage when they are about to merge with ocean....river divide itself into different streams...a picture of delta will make uh undrstnd wht it actually is..
duh
Nice
brilliant!
Man start making more of geography vids and u shall flourish .
