Speaking as someone of grandma age I am glad to see you wearing your Grandma's brooch. She will be very proud of you. "I'm only in the next room" One of my favourite quotes to remember when I miss my Mum ❤
I lost my lovely Mum suddenly last month and love the idea of her just being out of the room. I had no idea she had collected so many brooches 😮, but I don't really wear them myself so I kept 3 that meant something special to me. I wore one of them at the funeral. I have 2 of my Granny's brooches too as mementos. ❤
@@wilmaknickersfit if you aren't a broochy person maybe you can find a way to combine them to make a statement necklace/earrings or something like that? What kind of clips/pins do they have? If they are the more crocodile clip style you can always use them as hair clips or decoration on a scarf or bag (be careful with the bag one though as you need to make sure they're not going to ping off and get lost when you put your bag down somewhere. One of the things I love about making jewellery is using old pieces that may be out of style or partly broken, have missing stones or maybe are something you were given but don't really like all/part of them - taking these trinkets and heirlooms and the memories they can hold and making them into something more to someone's style, finding missing parts or replacing them and just giving these pieces a whole extra life is so much fun! Give it a try!
@@Littlewings1211another idea is to pin them onto bags or purses if you have any that they’d look good on. I have this one that’s turquoise blue and dangly and not really my style for wearing, but I have this black clutch that I pinned it to the front of right above the magnet (so it looks like the brooch is what keeps it closed) and it’s looks lovely
@@Littlewings1211 Thank you for all the ideas. I kept quite a few pieces including several beautiful necklaces and pairs of earrings, but most of the brooches were not my style at all. She'd collected quite a few cameos and several embroidered ones. I wanted all the females in the family to choose something(so) too and her best friend had several things. What's left is going to charity and they can sell some of the better stuff online. Actually I make jewellery too, but not upcycled things. That doesn't stop me from buying something new. I'm addicted to Vinted at the moment! 😂
Losing a grandparent is heart wrenching, I'm so sorry. :( I am giving you a hug through the screen. I grew up across the street from my grandparents and it still makes me emotional even though it's been years since they've passed away. I hope that you're doing okay and I'm so glad you have something lovely of your grandma's to remind you of her. ❤
I loved the second look. That brooch of your Grandma's was beautiful. It is so nice that you have that to remember her. She must have been very stylish like you. My condolences on your loss.
I am so sorry about your grandmother. My Nan passed almost 2 years ago now but it still feels like it was yesterday. She had Alzheimer's and in a way she was so ill that it was a blessing but that feels even worse because of the guilt of thinking that her passing was a "good thing". I miss her every day still, so I can understand how you feel about the brooch. I have a ring that she and my Gramps got me for Christmas many years ago and I never take it off outside of showering and moisturising. Sending love and hugs from the Brighton area to you and your family, may your grandmother rest in peace. 💐🌻🌷💜
I love the first outfit. It's more fun. And I love that you're wearing your Grandmother's brooch. Remember, even though they aren't here physically now, they're as near as a thought. They're when you instantly when you need them. I've lost both my parents and I live by that mantra.
Oh,your granny had a good taste! I am so sorry for your loss. My mum passed away just 3 weeks ago and she had only 2 jewellery items. A beautiful golden necklace with an amethyst pendant and a granat brooche. I started wearing them regularly now. For your outfits: the second outfit with all the magpie magic is just awesome!❤
I love all of your outfits; the intro outfit with the pink magpie cardigan deal is gorgeous, but for the broochie brunch, I love the second outfit with Grandma's brooch, red bag and perhaps the black heels. I'm sorry to hear of your Grandma's passing, but she lives in your heart and is honored by your memories ❤
I, too, loved the intro outfit! But tbh, there are very few outfits I don’t love! (I’m a 64-y-o woman in the US, and I think this young lady is an absolute treasure!)
Yesterday, I went thrifting in a charity shop and lo and behold, I found a bag like this rounded bag of yours. The only difference would be its slightly smaller in size and the handle of the one I found was gold metal. I was so thrilled and I bought it.
Going through a pretty not-good time right now, but honestly, I can never be in a bad mood while watching one of your videos... And always great ideas to take away! ~ things I'd never thought of, like pinning brooches in a seam to minimize fabric damage. Thank you for being your inimitable self 🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing your Grandmother’s broach. Beautiful and so special. Grandmothers are so very beloved and special. Sending you love during this difficult time. I know she was proud of you!
I have a brooch that belonged to my grandma’s grandma. Too delicate to wear, but lovely to have. Sorry to hear you lost your grandma. They never really leave us. ❤️
I like the boots for outfit 1. They seem to work well with the brooch. And the shoes are great with outfit 2. The mood I am in right now would choose outfit 1. But another day I would choose outfit 2.
I’m so sorry for your loss Andrea. I recently lost my grandmother who was very dear to me too. ❤ I got a special item from her and I’ll always treasure it ❤ love you and your videos! Praying for you and for your grandmas soul 🙏🏻💕
ITDA BUNNAY!!!!! Your grandmother's brooch is beautiful, so I think that's the outfit I like best. Excellent bag choice as well--both the top and the red bag looked 'sparkly' to me, while the silver bag looked 'shiny'.
It's lovely that you have your grandmother's brooch. My condolences on your loss. The second outfit is my favourite. I really love the white skirt.❤❤ Also, your bunny! ❤❤❤
Skirt - Elise (elastic) I love the sparkly bolero and Grandmas broach. Id wear it with the back skirt though as I destroy all white clothes. I'm a stain magnet. Love the bag and the shoes of the second outfit
I liked the look of the shiny rose gold top you had on at the beginning with the stretch black skirt. A broach with a black stone or a maybe a pink cameo would look lovely.
Thanks for all you do! I love watching your stylish tips! Maybe this will buy you a crop/tube top! I like the skirt in outfit 1, and the top in outfit 2. I'll bet this combo would look great! And I love the two black purses (outfit 1 & first shown in outfit 2) And I love the idea of a Brooch Brunch! Let's make this a trend! Thank you to the person who mentioned it!
Fawna is a good name for a skirt, plus the scalloped hem gives me forest vibes. Love your channel, it is such fun! keep up the good work. 💙a fellow magpie
The skirt is giving M names, lux but pragmatic, like Monica or Mona (as in Lisa). Fav outfit is a mashup: ✨ Sparkle shell w/ Grandmother’s brooch; ⚡️Mona (black skirt) 🔥Garnett sparkle bag and boots and a narrow satin bow tied around wrist, colored merlot
You are so entertaining. Every time I see one of your posts, I stop to watch it. I’m 78. I used to get my paycheck and run to the store to have a new outfit. I’ve always loved the used clothing stores. They often have high quality clothes, even designer labels that I could never afford new. You have such a beautiful heart. It’s easy to see in your posts and I enjoy your humor.
Andrea, you are Adorable!!! I am a 63 year old woman, and I get such a kick out of you! You remind me of my darling niece who is also adorable and very fashionable! 😊👍👍
A brooch from a loved one is forever. I have a brooch from my father’s kilts. It is one of my most treasured items. I’m sorry for your loss. The love never goes away.
This time I love both looks, but of course, only if edgy boots are on! The white skirt and the new bag are to die for! Looooooove❤❤❤❤p.s. You are in such a perfect shape! P.p.s. So sorry for your loss. A warm hug for you ❤
The skirt should be named Accordia, since the folds in her fabric remind me of the flattened fabric of an accordion. Very whimsical
I love this suggestion! Accordia is a winner for me!
Yes!
Very clever
I vote for this!! Accordia for the win!😊
Yes 👌
Grandma was a fashionable lady, of course. Condolences and much love to you 🤗

You should name the skirt Elsa Kate, because it sounds like elasticated.
I like that!
I vote for this name
Cute!
Let's do it.
I loved the second look. That brooch of your Grandma's was beautiful. It is so nice that you have that to remember her. She must have been very stylish like you. My condolences on your loss.
Thanks, speaking from Andreas perspective as I am her mother, she lost her grandmother at 11. Heartbreaking

Surely the skirt's name is Harmonica 😂
LOVE IT!!
Accordia or Pleatra, maybe?
I was thinking the skirts name should be "elastica"?
Harmony!
It is now!
So sorry about losing your grandma. I will say a prayer for her and for you ❣️
I often fasten a vintage brooch over a string of pearls or beads. (and also do the seam technique)

I loved the first one. I would name the skirt Elaine

My favourite broochie outfit is the last one, classic style. 🙂
I adore tour videos!!! And I see some requests....so I was wondering, can you style an entire outfit out of just flower patterns???
Sorry to hear of your loss. But hopefully using that brooch on your different boleros and sweaters will remind you of her warm, loving hugs!
I have a brooch that belonged to my grandma’s grandma. Too delicate to wear, but lovely to have.

Condolences for your loss. Wish I had some of my Grandma's jewelry. Tfs
I adore that sparkly cardigan you had on!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love the #2 with your Grandma's brooch & the edgy boots! Two thumbs up!
Love the brooches! If you want an option to wear brooches without worrying about damaging your clothes, Erstwilder has a MagnaPin Brooch Attachment.
I like "Satina" because she's so shiny 🤩
I wear my grandmother's brooches too. She passed away a 18 months ago and they always make me think of her in a nice way.
My condolences Andrea.
You look lovely like always.❤️
Its always a delight to watch your videos, they brighten my whole day 🥰🥰🥰
I’m so sorry for your loss. My last grandparent (grandma) passed away a few months ago. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs! ❤
Need me some magpie magic today~
I loved them both, with the boots. You make my magpie heart sing💜
The skirt looks like a Babette to me. And I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I lost my grandmother this week. Sending you lots of hugs and love
Sending love to you too. I lost my last Grandma in 2008 and have never stopped missing her, may the memory of her comfort you.
For broaches try Magna Pin. You use magnets and your pin doesn't leave holes.
The flats look the best on the first outfit.
I’m so sorry for your loss Andrea. I recently lost my grandmother who was very dear to me too. ❤ I got a special item from her and I’ll always treasure it ❤ love you and your videos! Praying for you and for your grandmas soul 🙏🏻💕
The last with the white skirt and flats. The bolero is everything.
Love both of your sparkly jacket tops 😍 The second outfit is my choice!
I thought the outfit you had on to introduce this video segment was stunning on you!
I liked the all white combo
I like the one with white skirt ensemble 😀

That first brooch kind of looks like an avocado, I love it 😄
I like both!
that skirt looks like an Odette to me, professional but classy and elegant
A grandma brooch has even more than fashion magic ♥️
Sorry to hear about the loss of you grandmother. My deepest condolences to you and your family 🌸
The skirt could be called Noir😊
Outfit 2, BUT! with the boots and the first bag you had. The Andrea personality bag. I would kill for that skirt by the way. It's gorgeous!!!
I like the 'edgy' one, because it looks so comfortable.
I prefer the second outfit. Looks very elegant.
The magpie in me loves this peachy top ❤😊

Sonia, I would call the skirt Sonia
I would never wear the outfits, but she is entertaining and I love watching her videos!
I’m so sorry for the loss of grandma ❤
I really liked the second look with your grandmother's brooch and sparkle bolero. You can keep her close to your heart each time you wear it. 😊❤
The outfits are classic. Love them all.
That skirt reminds me of the Arquette family, so Rosanna (nice), Patricia (my namesake) and Alexis (my favorite) are good options.
Fawna is a good name for a skirt, plus the scalloped hem gives me forest vibes. Love your channel, it is such fun! keep up the good work. 💙a fellow magpie
So sorry about you grandma that’s so sad I can’t imagine losing mine. Much love ❤️❤️
I want to go for a broochie brunch! I collect brooches 🙈
I like outfit 1 the best.

Love your videos! Can you do a flower pattern outfit?
I loved the second one more!
Madeline for the skirt!
