A period pad like always night with wings also works to prevent the camel toe, and it sticks, so no risk of it moving! But it has to be the nighttime version which are extra long
Honestly, I like your look more than the runway one. It looks like something you could actually wear without people thinking you're going to a bougie halloween party. The runway one just looks like a very fabulous pirate queen costume.
Imo Andrea's was giving off much more pirates vibes, but tbh that's why I love hers. It's elegant and less in your face than the og look but still absolutely fabulous
I agree. Ms. Andrea's outfit is chic and beautiful and you can wear it out. The other one looks like a sexy female pirate going to a costume party. All she needs is a sword and a hook for a hand.
Oh, I love the belt trick! I've never used that, slipping the belt.only through the first loops and around the outerwear. I am so adding this to my repertoire!! Thank you! ❤❤ A gorgeous look.
I 🤍 your videos! I’m old and will never again wear such cute outfits. Maybe that’s why I enjoy watching you so much. You’re absolutely lovely and have a super fun personality! Keep up the great work! 😁
I am 58 and just starting to wear vivid makeup, colored hair and attending metalhead concerts a few years ago. Don't let age stop you! You've entered your Fuck It years because it no longer matters what others think. So say Fuck It, put on that leather miniskirt and glitter eyeshadow and head to that rock festival with flowers in your blue hair. Celebrate your own badass self!
I absolutely love your videos for the true transparency in creating your outfits from being more inspired opposed to exact down to using a sock to ensure certain looks don’t also make their appearances. Thank you.
Why is vintage more beautiful than modern-day clothes? And even when you see something that looks good on some star or runway...you recreate it with vintage clothes!!❤❤❤❤
Man I'm so admiring all your vintage finds. I usually just shop at local thrift stores. Don't ont get me wrong, they have good finds, but I've felt like I'm missing staple pieces in wardrobe I haven't been able to find yet. Also, those detachable sleeves are gorgeous, where were they from?
Love this look❤ Only thing I would do differently is that I would take the white rouffle top's collar on top of that black cardigan. But I still love what you did here and with all the clothes that you already had. Priceless 🤑🤑😁
I love that you show us how to get looks inspired by designer/runway styles. Sometimes we think we have to copy exactly instead of being inspired and making the look our own.
Thank you for making fashion and looking good be fun, affordable, and DOABLE!! As a girly who loves her black skinny jeans and sweatshirts, this makes me want to adventure a little more and be more creative with my looks 😁👏
Blown away by the recreation!! That was amazing!! I've tried to recreate in the past but got frustrated when the outfit wasn't the exact same. Now I know just to recreate the vibe. Thx much for the tip!
Your re-creation is better than the original when viewing both on video..I'm sure the originals were great quality but you looked far prettier at the same time as having the bold look of original outfit...Great Work!
Andre, I love gour creativity and your encouragement to make creative xhoices with what you already have in your closet. Thank you for making fashion fun again.
I am not a target audience for this channel per se, but I love the way you present, style and give fashion tips and tricks. Also, you are smart, funny and love cats (these often go together). So I will keep watching you to lift my spirits (and for some smart tips and tricks too 😉).
It's giving 17th century man and I'm absolutely here for it ❤ You really recreated the outfit perfectly and I love the creative layering, especially the pirate sleeves!
I'm just really glad people have stopped calling them kimono and started calling them dusters! Kimono is a traditional Japanese garment, not any old robe!
I am so glad that I found your channel! I've been trying to get out of my tom boyish style a bit more in recent years & am generally lost when it comes to styling & your videos are just so helpful & you are such a joy to watch!
I wish I could do this. Alas, I watch these videos wearing what I slept in: an enormous Mountain Jew T-shirt, and jim-jam bottoms I fleeced from my dad's closet after he died. 💖
Very cool! I love the creativity and thought that went into this, and all of the lace pieces in particular. One suggestion I would make is to perhaps try a cream/brown headband instead, as the outfit and model both mix cream and brown colors with black: the model's hair's contrasts with the black of the headpiece, so going with a light, warm band on black hair would also be, I think, in the spirit of the outfit.
You can buy sleeves that are puffy or lace or drap over the wrist etc that come already elasticated. You can also buy detachable collars with ruffles etc. This means you can still use what’s in your wardrobe and can change plain shirt or blouse with the detachable collars and sleeves
This was so helpful!! I LOVE high fashion, but I'm definitely the type of person who thinks it's waaaaay out of my reach. I definitely need to take pages from your book and crack open all my old Vogue magazines 👀
I'd argue that Andrea is just as creative as Karl Lagerfeld, and much less controversial 🤣😘
And Albie is every bit as cute as Choupette.
100% agree!
AGREE ❤
Agree!
Agreed 😊
A period pad like always night with wings also works to prevent the camel toe, and it sticks, so no risk of it moving! But it has to be the nighttime version which are extra long
But what if I want it to move so I look that I come with surprise? 😌

A sock is far more eco friendly than a pad

@@n.c.picturesI agree, it looks more like an actual pirate and not a costume.
I agree. I like her version much better too.
true
I agree. Ms. Andrea's outfit is chic and beautiful and you can wear it out. The other one looks like a sexy female pirate going to a costume party. All she needs is a sword and a hook for a hand.
When she did the belt through only the front loops I said aloud “she’s a genius” ❤ I love Andrea
I was thinking how hard it would be to go to the loo.
YESSSS😮
@@taniacummings9207 I'm sure Andrea would say you have to suffer to be cool... Let's do it!😂
That lace duster is to die for.
I know right! I need one in my life
I have this one duster in peach, it’s adorable, the lace is so soft, but pricy
Absolutely. Thinking already which of my favorite fabric stores has a similar fabric for me to recreate
I like it in white, but I'd love it in black.
Omg yes!!!!
I'm not even a fashion person, but I just love your videos. So creative, and you always look like you're having fun.
And we have fun with her. I love her videos and her pets.😊
Same. I don't follow fashion. I'm mostly a jeans and r-shirt person, but she's so fun to watch.
Oh, I love the belt trick! I've never used that, slipping the belt.only through the first loops and around the outerwear. I am so adding this to my repertoire!! Thank you! ❤❤
A gorgeous look.
I can never get belted looks right, so what a brilliant tip! ❤
As a teen I remember recreating looks that were in style from Seventeen Magazine . That was over thirty years ago. I love your creativity .❤
I did that too! ❤ good days!
Adam Ant - Prince Charming - new romantic darling! ❤
I always love how you use affordable, second hand stuff. Beautiful!
Beautiful pirate girl look! Ty, Andreea, for showing us that you don't need a lot of money but a lot of good taste, to look good.
I love your outfit more than the runway outfit. You have better taste. If only I was young again to dress like you do.😊
Oh do not let age stop you. There's a great vid on insta of women of a certain age who say they now feel free enough to dress exactly as they wish!
I like your outfit better than the Chanel, too! Great job!
I much prefer Andrea's over the Chanel/Lagerfeld version. It's sensational on you!!!
Yes, I agree. She is in the realistic realm!!
I wanted a longer video. I got a longer video.
Very Good.
I 🤍 your videos! I’m old and will never again wear such cute outfits. Maybe that’s why I enjoy watching you so much. You’re absolutely lovely and have a super fun personality! Keep up the great work! 😁
Do not let age stop you! Find your version of fun and elegant and go for it. Lots of cheap clothes in vintage stores.
I'm old, and I'm just STARTING to wear cute outfits! Didn't have the time nor money, before! I plan on growing old DISgracefully, LOLOLOL!

Is it ever too late for a duster though?
I appreciated how each piece was chosen and explained. The end result looked so good 👌
Chanel should bow to your fashion genius, Andrea
I absolutely love your videos for the true transparency in creating your outfits from being more inspired opposed to exact down to using a sock to ensure certain looks don’t also make their appearances. Thank you.
recreating expensive outfits might be my favorite type of video
The lace duster is just such an exquisite piece!
Love this look! That belt trick blew my mind! I wear belts a lot and this is such a clever way to avoid them slipping out of place 😍💜
Wow you did a great job recreating that look. Judging the 2 side by side, I like yours better❤❤❤
Yes, much better!!!
Every time you said you could stop there, I agreed, and every time you kept going, it looked great also. Amazing!
Andrea, your look was better than the Chanel - thank you so much for your wonderous creativity and your joy in playing with clothes!
Oh my gosh, the tricks and hacks in this video are PRICELESS! The anti-🐫 and belt trick I will definitely be using
How to avocamel toe is by far the most useful fashion advice I've ever received.
I don't care about fashion, just watching cause andrea is fun
The power of having made strong wardrobe choices and honoring your personal style, along with your inner magpie. 😉

I think YOUR outfit looks better than the Chanel runway outfit. More approachable by the average person.
Love the faux sleeves peeking through. I had no idea that was a thing
I honestly think that you're look is better than chanels look😊
I loved your outfit a lot more!
Oooh, that belt loop technique. That's interesting to keep in mind.
This has such David Bowie from Labyrinth vibes ❤❤❤❤

LOVE this look Andrea, better than the runway, because it's real...keep it up I love your videos
