The Peruvian designing practice determines the ultimate bearing capacity of soils, obtaining as you mention for medium to soft clays 1 .5 - 2.5 Ton/m2, but after the consolidation settlement assessment, and the applying of SF of 2.5 to 3, the bearing capacity decrease to about 0.5 Ton/m2. Please your comments. Thank you.

There’s no such thing as safe soil bearing capacity. The bearing capacity is not a property of soil, but a soil-structure interaction problem, which means that the bearing capacity in a given soil profile, depends among other things, on the the type of foundation and foudjstijn depth

Its confusing unit.....SBC is rather measured in kN/Square M . As its upward pressure expressed in kN per unit area.
10000*9.81=98100N/M2 and 98100/1000=98.1kn/m2 it is approximately 100 Kn/m2

Playness Khiewtam as it the video says, the sbc for compact clay is 45 000 while the sbc for hard rock is 330 000
