Loved the test but I really think you guys should review Q15 and Q18. On Q15....Hope is more substantive than an emotion or as a verb, it would be more akin to I wish. Then on Q18....the answer should be 2. The eight ball is 4, the eye is 6, and the diamond is also 4.

I'd say many of these questions are far too easy for a IQ test. But I'm not disappointed because I didn't expect an accurrate test from Bright Side in 13 minutes.

It made it more difficult to get some of the more complex puzzles. I got a couple of those wrong (for lack of time). I was stumped at question 13 because there was no way through pattern recognition you could say that the second square was also meant to add up to 17, since there was only one other square. For 15 I went with hope because it was the only word without the -ness suffix. That answer is purely subjective. Question 18 is literally 2. 12 / 3 = 4 so the eight ball is 4. (16 - 4) / 2 = 6 so the eye is 6. (28 - 4) / 6 = 4 so the diamond is 4. 4 - 6 + 4 = 2. I got 5 wrong.
Question 18 should have been 2, but since it wasn't listed, the puzzle had to be switching the order of the - with the + to be equal to any of the answers which was the digit 6, but it was actually -6.

I really enjoyed doing the test . According to your answers, my score should be 18 because I was in other opinion about the anwers of questions 15 and 18. BUT: Question 15 could have 2 possible answers: 1. sadness (negative emotion) which is different from the other 3 (positive emotions); 2. hope - verb vs. the other 3 - nouns (every three of them ending in -ness). I also think that there is a mistake in the anwer of question 18. It should be 2.

For q13 you could think of the shape as 2 squares, the square that has all four numbers already filled in (5, 5, 6, 1) The one that has the same number [in this case 5] the other two numbers subtract to get that number (the larger subtracts the smaller) Thus, for the other square (4, 4, 7, ?) The number that has the same number repeated twice (4) You would subtract 4 from 7 (7-4=3) Therefore the answer could be 3 :') Happy thinking!

another explination for Q19 is to split the two digit numbers, add them togheter and then put the added number in between the two you split. Like the first which is 15, 1 and five makes 6, so the new number will be 165. This works with them all. Next one, 297. 2+7 is 9 so the three digit number will then be 297 and so on. So no need to multiplie.
For ques 19,2nd digit of every 3 digit number is the sum of the earlier 2 digits :: like 1+5=6 and here we have 165, in the same way 6+2=8 and we have 682
In 10:21 has the wrong answer. It is actually two. Cause if a diamond is 4 and an eyeball is 6 and an eightball is 4. So the equation is 4-6+4 =2. And yes it is kind of confusing that the diamond has the same value as the eightball.
I got 20 out of 20, which is 2 more than the question setter. Agree with everyone who says the answer to Q18 is obviously 2. Also the answer to Q20 is C. The answer given, B, would represent a stage immediately prior to the given sequence. This is the first Bright Side post I have looked at in years: unsurprised to see it continues to fail to live up to its name.
Im fairly certain the last one is not B, as the triangles are continously moving the same way, for the bottom one that would be moving to the right, B's bottom is further to the left than the first figure. Whereas C every triangle has moved the same way, and if we move them further the same way, they would end up at 3rd, 4th and 5th position.

Many said about the 19th question, however there should also be a look at the 20th. There is a pattern in fact, just look up. It's going from right to left, which is the opposite of the option B. The most accurate answer would be option C. Also, every other does follow the same pattern, just in different directions. The right one goes up, the left one goes down and the down one goes to the right.
Q17, We can immediately cross off C from the board it's obvious it's not allowing us to give an answer that is by itself a decision, So "Some men are kings." would mean that not all men are in fact kings so excluding the further statement/answer a, "All kings are men." Subtraction is just adding negative numbers. If it was written as 4-(6+4) then it would be -6. And a calculator will tell you that the answer is 2 lol.

another explination for Q19 is to split the two digit numbers, add them togheter and then put the added number in between the two you split. Like the first which is 15, 1 and five makes 6, so the new number will be 165. This works with them all. Next one, 297. 2+7 is 9 so the three digit number will then be 297 and so on. So no need to multiplie.
That is the well-known quick way to multiply a 2-digit number by 11.
if somethings like 59 appears, you do 5 + 9 = 14, then put 4 on the middle and +1 on the 5. (649)

In 10:21 has the wrong answer. It is actually two. Cause if a diamond is 4 and an eyeball is 6 and an eightball is 4. So the equation is 4-6+4 =2. And yes it is kind of confusing that the diamond has the same value as the eightball.

The answer given, B, would represent a stage immediately prior to the given sequence. Im fairly certain the last one is not B, as the triangles are continously moving the same way, for the bottom one that would be moving to the right, B's bottom is further to the left than the first figure. Whereas C every triangle has moved the same way, and if we move them further the same way, they would end up at 3rd, 4th and 5th position.

The eyeball is representing number 6 and the ball with the number 8 in it is representing number 4 and the diamond is also representing number 4 thus in the first one 6 + 4 + 6 is equal to 16 second one 4 + 4 + 4 is equal to 12 in third one 4 x 6+ 4 is equal to 28 and the fourth one 4 - 6 + 4 is equal to 2
If we do in the BODMAS rule it is 4 + 4 - 6 which is 8 and without BODMAS 4 - 6 + 4 is also because 4 - 6 is -2 and -2 + 4 is 2 there is a wrong way in doing BODMAS rule is that when they add they added 6 + 4 1st and they DID 4 - 10 in that way they get - 6 still that is wrong and minus 6 is not equal to 6 so the correct answer is actually 2.

Many said about the 19th question, however there should also be a look at the 20th. There is a pattern in fact, just look up. It's going from right to left, which is the opposite of the option B. The most accurate answer would be option C. Also, every other does follow the same pattern, just in different directions. The right one goes up, the left one goes down and the down one goes to the right.

So "Some men are kings." would mean that not all men are in fact kings so excluding the further statement/answer a, "All kings are men." And so is the second statement and the one that follows since if all kings have golden crowns then it would be referring to all men which was already proven to be false so it would mean both B and E would be incorrect leaving only D to be the correct answer

Subtraction is just adding negative numbers. If it was written as 4-(6+4) then it would be -6. And a calculator will tell you that the answer is 2 lol.

Guess what 1+ 5= 6 and it comes between 1and 5
