Gran Turismo always feels different for me it’s not just another racing franchise but a love letter to cars. The aesthetic, music, feel to the game. It’s the whole experience unlike any other car game

12 million Elden Ring copies in 20 days 19 million GOW copies in 4 years
Cant compare a linear tunnel game with invisible walls to a vast open world with freedom of path from the git-go and character builds in addition to the lore/world building from George R.R Martin etc etc.

Its so surreal to see these graphics and incredible car list in a gran turismo game. I havent played gran turismo since the days of GT4 and MAN this game looks amazing. I cannot wait until the day I can afford a PS5 to play this game for myself and bring out the inner child in me again.
It’s available on PS4 if you’re worried about getting a PS5, but I totally understand wanting to wait and experience with the full experience the new console provides!
Good god. GT was always a step ahead but christ, GT7 is so polished.
In an era where games are thrown out without creativity or polish, this game is like a live letter to gamers let alone cars.
It really is on another level. I've been playing it for 2 days and all I've really been doing is going gold on all my licenses, about to start my S license tests. So much fun just driving different cars and seeing how different they all feel. I really haven't even done a ton of races just yet. Wanted to go ahead and knock out the licenses, have a feeling ill be stuck on the S class for a minute

I love how gran turismo does everything car related perfectly and I love seeing him playing the game and enjoy it for that very reason having a spark when you drive a car you built

The only thing I wish they would've added is the option to gut the interior like a race car. Otherwise it's an amazing game...or sim it's just awesome!
Yea interesting how you can read what gets taken out when you buy the weight reduction kits, but all the internals still appear anyway.
You notice the wide rims more from the rear. I'm loving this game so far.

You can paint the grille in the livery editor, that's how you remove chrome from all cars.
In order to apply stickers to grilled and chrome, you have to apply stickers in the 'other' category, the same as license plates.
For more grip u have to put racing softs on and u should try the anti lag System the pops are so nice

I believe if they would have made it open world then this classic franchise wouldn't be Gran Turismo. That's what makes it GT Sim Racing. Photo realistic looking cars, authentic license cars, professional tuning and car maintenance, and most importantly the authentic race tracks.
Wonder if you can put a lift on the trucks. Really enjoying the Tacoma, would look so damn good with a mild 4" lift and some 35's. Have a feeling we can't do lifts though

Hey man you can get carbon fibre from the paint shop just select carbon fibre on the drop down menu in paint and buy it then apply it in the livery editor 👍🏻
The only negative of the sounds in this so far from what I’ve heard, is that a lot of cars are a bit too muted compared to their real life counterparts and/or the shift sounds are weirdly artificial, like it magically goes into the next gear

People go on about forza and I watched someone playing FH5 yesterday and the hyper car sounded exactly like my leaf blower 😂just because it's louder people say it's better and more realistic 😂
Muted is how I’d describe it, nothing to do with how loud they are, they’re not bad but a turbo M4 with a racing exhaust or something like an 800hp Skyline would sound savage in real life

havnt bought the game yet, tho, so i was wondering if you can change the exhaust note/tone like in NFS Heat, or does it change as you upgrade/modify the engine/exhaust?
The exhaust note changes when you modify the exhaust, for example when you put a semi-race exhaust on it or something like that. It sounds really nice

From what I’ve seen on Gt7. Lambos , bmw, Mazda,Nissan all own so far.
7:36 go in livery editor , decals , others and make a plate
same for grills , decals , other and put black on it

Great video. One of my only gripes I have, the only one, is that you cannot paint parts Carbon Fiber. I hope they somehow fix this in the future. IOther than that, the game is first class, fun and just enjoyable as all hell. Cool thing about wheels is that obviously you can customize them in custom paint you buy. Unlike forza when you pain the wheel, depending on wheel type in GT7 the barrel and face is different than the lip of the rim which retains its normal texture.

You have to make the whole car carbon and then use the livery editor to colour the parts you dont want carbon.
Porsche doesnt have lugs maybe thats why you have option to pick wheels compatible to car
You can change the chrome bit on the grill if you go into livery editor then "others" and put a massive sticker on the front
and you can change the writing on the numberplate the same way in the livery editor in "others"

Tanzanite looks perfect on that car. In the game, the closest I could find is I think metallic B8.
I swear yesterday i put a widebody on an r34 and i had exactly the same reaction to it. “That looks so weird”. I wish they add more body kit options, like that krc widebody for rx-7 from FH5.
It just literally widen the car's body. There's no mention about the kits.

Have you noticed that the fuel cap disappears with the widebody ? And the little M4 badge on the sides, it's glitched !

I don't think its possible, since usually in GT muscle cars have only supercharger
Muscle cars use Superchargers in the game. You wont be able to add a turbo to them.

But if they make an open world game which I think will be great especially night time highway runs, it won't have the Gran Turismo world-class replays. So you won't really be able to watch your car and your driving in action.

Ah, your M4 is as twitchy as mine on the straights. I am beginning to wonder if there's an issue with the modeling on this. Bone stock the M4 feels hard to control than even my C7 ZR1 on Sport Softs.
nah I was just really new to the game, cars are a little more twitchy than Forza Motorsport for example but once you get used to it, it's easy to control and drive smooth
