Think I’m missing something. Most of the cars you recommend are after an engine swap. But you can’t do that until collector level 50 or whatever. By which point you wouldn’t be a beginner.

Start with the car as a beginner and then engine swap it when you get the levels! 🙌🙌🙌

Hi @Kireth . New subscriber and relatively new to GT7 , but have played GT sport before. I'm an average player and only play on PS5 controller.
Just bought the Mazda and upgraded it a lot and it is a fun car and drives real nice.

You can't engine swap til level 50. That's not beginner status.
EDIT: And now your second recommendation for a beginner car is a car that you have to drive perfectly. Beginners aren't going to be able to drive perfectly and this car would overly punish you from learning how to drive to the point of impeding progress. It's pretty much the _exact opposite_ of what you want to give a beginner.

I've been flat out racing online since the game launched and i can't even engine swap yet, still level 49, so not really for a beginner. Just go GR4 Silvia and GR3 GTR and you're sorted for online
came here looking for a good guide about what first ten or so cars to get, to be able to do all the beginner races with different entry requirements, but this isn't it. maybe rename the video title ?

even without the engine swap the mazda 3 is a great car. even left NA it’s pretty competitive with the japanese clubman and japanese 4wd racers.

Best beginner cars for me was the ford Focus RS. It’s turbo 4 wheel drive and highly customizable. I also love the Shelby Cosworth, Any Lancer, 90s BMWs, and almost every Toyota. There is a Toyota for almost every Japanese car entry. Even the Himedic can win the Japanese 550 under or at the 550 pp rating with clean race bonuses at every track.
When you brake how come it's red bar only? Not white?
My choice for best beginner car is the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS. 453 HP for 35000 credits is hard to beat. Toss on some weight reduction, a front splitter and some slicks. And you can do the 700 WTC Le Mans race. Sadly that race isn't available at the beginning.

I gave negative vote on this, not helpful at all when half the list requires level 50 and millions of credits. This is only helpful if you're taking over someone else's saved game.

yeah, its not the right order how to progress quickly.
i agree the mazda 3 is a good overall car when you have unlocked the good stuf.
before that you need all kinds of other cars to progress trough the game.
i used mostly the gift cars and that is enough to waist your money on.
Worst beginner video ever, None of what you are talking about can be done as a beginner.
