Red card might be good in the future as stronger draw engines and overall cards are printed. For now, since decks are so inconsistent and awkward, you end up playing your good cards and holding your bad ones, so red card is way more likely to be helpful to you than harmful. There are definitely times when a red card can be devastating, but you can never know when to play it (without that one trash item that looks at your opponent's hand) and usually you're just helping your opponent.
You don't think alternating energy pool would be fair? I'm a bit concerned with how much coin flips we have in the game already, and I'd really like to see more dual element decks. Maybe the consistency will encourage that? Are there E4 type trainer cards that encourage multiple element strats the way gym leaders do for single/specific pokemon?
Flipping back and forth would be boring/limiting. Would also mean which one you start with would make or break matchups if thats all they did to let players manage energy. The amount they could do with trainer cards to let players manage multiple energy types is pretty limitless, Id much prefer that. Theyll definitely print stuff that makes multi-energy stuff viable dont worry 👍 this is a deliberately introductory set.
Did you get rid of the "Marshie talks about past TCG decks" bit atthe end of videos or is that only this video? I really liked those bits, so I hope you bring them back!
I did, its been challenging to produce two videos every day and the outro bits required too much time to do for how little they get watched :/ Thanks for liking them though, I enjoyed having those bits at the end. Maybe if the channel is wildly successful at launch Ill be able to make the time to bring them back.
I *think* if Brock could target any fighting pokemon then Brock would be the better card. Getting nothing half the time is brutal on Misty. Attaching to any water is great though.
I watched a video break down misty math and basically she is worth 0.87 energy on average (they stopped counting anything beyond 5 heads because that's all that matters)

Electrik 1st stage is sleep on. 60 dmg turn 3 vs water and flying types like legendary birds(3dif decks) and farfetchd/pidgeot.
Good old avalanche build
just drop rocks on them.
Take your old outro song requests and play them on low in the background on a loop.
A true Marshie multimedia experience

I like this deck with 1 Geodude to try and avoid those Geodude only starts. Maybe swap in a red card
It's crazy how Brock attaches one energy while Misty can attach, like, infinite lol

Hey atleast Brock always feels good to play while Misty loves making you miserable
