6:20“Garbodor makes the format healthier.” gave me war flashbacks. The XY into ORAS era was the most I ever got into competitive PTCG, and if I never have to think about Garbodor and Seismitoad EX again I may still struggle to find peace. Pyroar could only protect me for so long.
Someone was talking about having 3 full art Wigglytuff's while having no Weezings, and I have the exact opposite problem with 2 full art Weezings and 0 Wigglytuff EX's. Can't wait for trading to hit this game so I can just get the cards I want. Take my Moltres EX, I dont care!!
After getting everything I wanted out of Mewtwo packs, I switched to Charizard packs, got 3 Charizard EX from the first 4 packs, one being full art... since then I have opened 20+ Charizard packs and gotten nothing but absolute trash. So now I am at the point where the game just no longer gives me pack hourglasses from anything, I am stuck getting 2 packs a day, still missing most staples from Charizard and Pikachu packs. Very stingy game.
Almost certainly the game will not let you trade unless you have more than two copies, and you will not be allowed to keep less than two copies. Trading will be heavily limited to protect the business model of selling packs.
stumbled upon you, because last christmas my wife bought me the base set remake with 3 decks, and the battle area, with unique damage counters etc, so I heavily started collecting cards again. I used to play quite a bit, and collect when I was younger, but lost all of my cards in a house fire in 2001. at the time, I had at least 1 of everything available, so needless to say, it kinda killed the hobby for me. Either way, long story short. I started collecting again, and battling. Not too bothered by the rarity of cards, or whatever, but having a hard time figuring out what is actually being played these days, or what decks are good. This video had some helpful insight, and I really resonated with your conversation about sports. My dad was a huge sports guy, just like I am a huge video game guy. He never made me feel bad about it, and actually often said that loving sports was very nerdy as well, which helped me accept my own hobbies as a kid. I am enjoying the app as well, and hope to see you in a match sometime.
Greninja is a sweet deck… don’t need now stall tactics if you’re playing well just pair him with Tentacreul and one Bruxish… then play all your consistency cards
This is in no way a complaint, I really like your style and youre enjoyable to watch, but I hope this comes off as constructive criticism. I dont know if you edited this video chronologically, but you spent the first 25% of the video talking about the standard TCG that potential viewers from the new and viral pocket might not be familiar with. A lot of people might click off early if they dont know or care what youre talking about, regardless of the gameplay being great and your opinions being really level headed and reasonable. Had that game come after the second game where you talk about the Pocket format not being a set to 0, it provides a bit more context for what you said in the former part of the video, narratively speaking. Ive only been watching a short time, but ive really liked what ive seen from you so far!
Thanks, it was chronological. Its good feedback, Ive been trying to get better about repeating/adding context mid discussion if I think a game will get used, Ill keep a better eye out for paper tcg talk.
This deck seems wigglytuff to beat. Great job Marshie!

@@ydgmdlu Probably, but trading away cards I don’t need/want is better than nothing.
@@wispyone3702 I'm going to laugh if you still can't get the cards that you want because of all of the limitations on trading.
@@Ambander-p3xyeah, I also went hard and spent all my hour glasses and am at the same point . Missing a few key things I’d really like to have
Great content loving the videos. Keep them coming, we'll keep watching!
You have good vibes man. Love your stuff
Favorite deck in the game. PR JIGGLY WILL MAKE THIS DECK EVEN BETTER! AHHH😊

So sorry to hear about your lost collection! Thats brutal! Glad youre enjoying the game again though, thanks for watching!

So far, my best Weezing partner has been Arbok. Once you get them poisoned, they just can't leave it will catch up to them!
Are those box covers on your wall Displates?
Just need Wheezings and Kogas now
Have you heard of GLC format? Its really fun, doesn't allow any Ex or multi-prize Pokemon.
Yeah, I have a dark and a metal deck
Potion is trash, it would be better to run 2 Koga and 1 Potion instead, if you have to cut one or the other.
