Huzefa had complaints with his Aventador, and now he has a couple things he doesn't like with the Ferrari 488 Spider! Comment below which one of these complaints you think is the most stupid, and which is the most valid!
That's not the hood for the engine. That's where the front trunk is! Car is mid engined. All the luggage storage space is in the front. And it's a pain to open.
The 458 comparison is the most stupid. Most car guys I talk to prefer the 458 to the 488. Having to jump it in a hole under the passenger dash is the most legit.
@EddieX not saying that any complaint is stupid but I'm sure he knew all of this before he decided to purchase vehicle. If it's that much of a "hate or dislike" y not spend the money on something you don't have any complaints about

Door handle is higher on F430. No issues 3. Same flimsy visors. Ferrari saving weight. 4. Ferrari styling is fine. Never liked Lambo. Eddie, I have to be honest; I agree with your friend, it’s Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche. I know a lot of people love McLaren, but if it’s my money, it’s one other the other three. Great video, I enjoyed the different perspective.
I own the 2019 version of that car, I ordered brand new and it took two years to arrive. Okay I agree with you on the jumping of the car in the passenger foot well is a poor design. And that maybe they should have had jump terminals from the engine bay if they were going to put the battery there. Lamborghini cannot compare to a Ferrari as far as exclusivity and overall brand recognition they have diluted the brand so much. The fact that Ferrari is a race car company first and a car company second is why you have all these little idiosyncrasies. I personally love my 488 Spider over my 720s. I love the fact that if I take it out of race mode and put it in sport mode I can have a phone call without having the engine exhaust overwhelming the conversation. I've had my SF-90 order for at least 7 months now before they were even taking deposits. Meaning Ferrari corporate I still had my deposit with the actual dealer to make sure I did not lose my place at that dealer. Which landed me a very low allocation number for my new car. I almost feel like you have to beg to get what you want from Ferrari but again they're a race car company first not a car company like Kia that makes cars for the masses. The hood could pop up more on my 488 I would agree but the door handles are really weak argument. The fact that Lamborghini raced 2 years in formula 1 and almost went bankrupt makes them a weak brand to me and I would never buy one even though I've personally owned one for all of 90 days and got rid of it because I hated that the windscreen was so low that could barely see into the turn. You obviously don't race your car. Just my thoughts on the matter.
Ferrari is nowhere near as exclusive as Lamborghini, at least when it comes to how rare they are, in 2014 Lamborghini had sold 30,000 cars and sold 14,000 cars from 2014 to 2019 By 2018 Ferrari had sold 208,931 cars. So there’s some 45,000 Lamborghinis and over 200,000 Ferrari’s in the world. Those Ferrari’s don’t sound all that exclusive to me

Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche ! That’s right the “big three”. Glad you’re not considering a Mclaren. They are fast but total junk ! Congratulations and the car looks great 👍 I think it was a better choice than my coupe.
I think you need to bring up the point of Lambo's sticker prices. A high option Gallardo was 280 a high option 458 was 350. F12 has taken a beating compared to Aventador and they have nearly the same sticker prices.
I like the Berlinetta and the 812 Super Fast.. beautiful cars. I guess Ferrari engineers focus more on mechanical engineering of the reciprocating internal combustion engine rather than cosmetics and interior. But still I understand the nit-picking when you are spending that much money a vehicle.
Worst thing about owning that car if you live in CT. The annual property taxes. :o/ Already well over $1K for my GT350 each year. I can't imagine this car. But hey, if you can afford it, why not!
This car is incredible. spent some time with one a week ago, the doors feel G-wagon good to open and close. No complaints for me. Don't recall the frunk being hard to open on my model either. And Ferrari isn't design lazy, they like to look sculpted. Which is why the pista uses an S duct and fancy air tricks for the rear wing, instead of a giant dinner plate splitter and a golden gate bridge sticking 6 feet tall on the back of the car. I prefer this smooth look. Lambo likes to use the big wings and lots of angles in the design which it sounds like you prefer, Ferrari likes a rounded design. I'm not a die-hard ferrari guy either, I like Camaros and stuff but i'd never complain about the things that make a car what it is. It's an incredible machine and worth what you pay. If you prefer lambo, get lambo.
I agree the door handles aren’t great though they do supposedly channel air into the side vents. That said, ticking every carbon fibre option doesn’t help, adds massively to the cost which you don’t see back at sale time. As for jump starting the car, I’ve had Ferrari’s for 25 years and never needed to jump start them. The battery is there for a reason, weight distribution and of course, packaging.
Get an education, work hard, treat people well. Glad to see he has done well enough to afford cars like this. Heh I’m always amused when folks get upset at door handles. So... does anyone remember the door handles on the 308 to 328 series? They aren’t designed for rough and tumble “need to force things cuz I’m a man grunt grunt” type of handles. If you’re rough with things? Then you break everything with which you’re rough...

I know you’re doing anonymous hot take here... but once you drive one, you wouldn’t say that. They’re wonderful machines with incredible speed, braking and handling and they are easy to daily.
The reason the door handles are like that is because they direct the air flow to the rear vents as you see. I am a Ferrari engineer and I’m watching this so I can give ideas but the handles aren’t changing so sorry! 😐
Let's see...uneven panel gaps, hood latch that could fly open at speed unlike that of a C8 corvette that opens in the opposite direction, manitino switches that literally break off when new that require new steering wheel assembly, seats that rot in a few years, batteries that die every day every where.
With the issues I've seen some of my fellow exotic car owners have had with McLaren, I'm glad that my passion is with Ferrari. Take my 488 Spider. 40k km on it and at least 10k is track. I have had one issue which is a loose heat shield - that's it. Have had more Porsche issues than Ferrari issues.
