Good job Eddie! I like that you’re talking to an actual owner and not getting a 30 minute drive in one from your local dealer and trying to extrapolate from there.
Thanks! I really like these kinds of videos, there's only so much I can talk about after spending a day with a vehicle. The owner that has spent their own money and lives with the car definitely knows the most

Haha! This guys awesome! I pretty much agree with everything he says. I love how he shit on Ferrari while driving one without a single worry about how he’ll be perceived at the next service appointment! I own a couple Ferrari’s and I love them so I think I’ll keep my mouth shut.
I could never understand why people prefer a coupe to a convertible. Whenever I see these comparisons, most people always say they would rather have a coupe. I’ve got a beautiful F430 spider. Going for a cruise on a nice summer evening, or whenever, with the wind and the view is just so freekin awsome! Plus, the car looks so sleek and low. Why would someone not want that? I don’t get it.
Love the 488, much better car all round beyond the 458 and the aim of Ferrari. Agreed that I think 458 will continue to drop slightly, another false market for people trying inflate the value. 458 will likely leave you with a hole in the pocket due to maintence etc due to age and the old Ferrari issues. 488 will likely increase as 458 owners are trading them in for the newer cars
I'm lucky enough to own both a Ferrari 488 and Aston DBS Superleggera. If I had to keep one and ditch the other I would definitely keep the DBS and ditch the 488, but I guess when it comes to cars peoples opinions are like belly buttons, everybody has one and they are all different.
Its not or never for the 348. the all analog 348 is the predecessor to the consensus best sports car Ferrari ever made - the 355. the 348 doesn't have the expensive to repair brass value and/or electronic suspension issues the 355 has. the 348 represents Less is More and Older is Easier when it comes to Ferrari Sports cars. Most anyone can work on a 348 on most repairs as while the 348 is not a grocery getter its definitely a daily driver. Also the 348 has a flat plane crank which generates the same F1 exhaust note as Formula one cars use flat plane cranks to lower the weight of the cars. the 348's exhaust note sounds "pissed." at $65k for a 30k mile or less 348 it's now or never before 348s become the air cooled 911s of the Porsche community. You can't lose with a solid 348. Slam dunk. No bigger bang for the buck out there.
I feel like the guys who can afford these top tier cars aren't really car guys as much as they are just collectors. That's why we're seeing the death of manual transmissions. It's all about comparing specs that you'll never come close to hitting. The duty it sees is exactly like this video. Just putting around
You forget everyone starts at ground zero. Unless they are born with a silver spoon in their mouth (cough Parker cough) And he's a dentist which means he posseses the intelligence to finish things (schooling) to the end. Don't make the mistake of lobbing all successful people into the same group of wasteful gluttons that waste money because they can. Learn from the the self mades…then grind…then go cruise in your own Ferrari. :) Cheers!
I don't think so. I think we've turned into a culture that just buys things to signal to others that we are what we purchase. Listen to this guy talk. He seems more concerned with what options that car has than anything else. What's the difference between his attitude and a woman shopping for shoes? He scoffed at Eddie's idea of changing the factory wheels. Why? Probably for collectability reasons. I believe that until you've poured blood, sweat, and tears into a hobby, it isn't really your passion, but just a way for you to look interesting.
You think guys who make this level of income have the time or the will to know? Most don't. The man you speak of in your comment is the exception. If they did they would know what it's like to row gears on their favorite road and the joy of pulling off the perfect heel toe and why keeping manual transmissions alive is important to an actual car guy. This guy, like a lot of the guys on Eddie's channel, is a schmuck. More concerned with vanity than that feel of the vehicle. I'm not wrong either. Look at the values of the analog era cars. They're skyrocketing. The dystopian future where everything is self driven and it will be illegal to drive will be brought on by people like you

So 195k for a 15 Huracan or a 16 488 coupe for 225?
Huracan 175k, low miles, or Italia 458 160k.
