HI ALL, when i was just 14 years young i started my mini passion and it NEVER GOES AWAY IM NOW 47 and still love minis , What this guy is talking about is absoluetly correct because at just 18 i entered my first ever proper race [and won], now in the David Vizard;s bible i did NOT do the correct math and was on a very tight budget so instead of buying the hilo;s i looked at Mr Vizards Bible and it says if you cut an 8th of and inch off the trumpet you lower the car by an inch but i cut off a full inch and did;nt realise i basically had no suspension, Yes the car looked very nice sitting lower than i thought it would go but it was litterally sitting on the bump-stops . When i turned the steering the whole front subframe would move side to side luckily [for me] my best mate at the time was an autograss champ so he took 1 look and said here there;s 4 good trumpets [front and rear] and said if you really want to learn READ THE BOOK AGAIN so i did and thats when i new i messed up with the ratio TRUE STORY LESSON LEARNED AND STILL JUST WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MINI TO TURN UP but i will be sticking with the A series engine probably a 1293 thanks SCOOBS UK.

Hi, I’m just starting a 1963 mini Morris super deluxe. Restore What would you suggest for suspension, I’d like discs on 10” will my original subs take all the modern kit

The adjustable hi-lo's and springs are a great upgrade - they will work with any dry suspension like yours.
