Buffalo Trace is the king of hype.

Yep. They make good whiskey but the hype is crazy. Cheers.

I paid 80 for a legit but open bottle, only missing the neck pour. The lowest I've ever seen c923 on secondary is 200.

Love this video series! So much so... I might "borrow" the idea 😆. Thanks for the video!

Definitely a general idea I took from other channels, but I think the breakdown of MSRP, First Bottle and Regular Basis is fun and helpful. Look forward to seeing your version!

Happily/Luckily grabbed a bottle of Michters 10 Rye for $160 around Christmas. Haven’t opened it yet, but I am looking forward to it immensely based on your previous review.
EC Toasted - found once for $60- didn’t blow me away unfortunately.
McKenna - grabbed a bunch of them at $50 a year or so ago - now $75 in my area(southern CT) which I’m a pass at.
    Love the content! Thanks!!

Great job with this list. I agree, I see more Henry McKenna than I used to. It’s always $70 here.

Agreed! Hitting shelves more regularly but price is slower to come down. Cheers.

The 1792 Sweet Wheat is easily worth $40 but I have to admit I passed on it a month ago since I had opportunity to buy other, more desirable bottles instead. Henry McKenna 10 Year is everywhere now aeound me for $60, which is very fair. The EC Toasted is also not near as hard to find now. I have passed several times for $60, but would jump on it again for $45 to $50.

The 1792 Full Proof and Bottled In Bond were just dropped in Virginia this past weekend. BiB was $41, while Full Proof was $49.

Hopefully you were able to grab some. If so, would be interested to know which one you like better! Cheers.

@@thebourbonhutch9574 I was able to get one of each , they were allocated but at least the price wasn't gouged. I'll let you know about which I like better when I crack em open. I'm finishing off a bottle of 1792 Single Barrel which is delicious as all hell.

I get the RC toasted all day for $56. It’s a steal at that in my opinion. I’d not give a bent penny for McKenna. All three I’ve had have been absolute garbage. I’d love to get a Michters 10 year rye. Almost had one at $181. EC BP I like store picks or private barrels more than the regular BP offerings. Def go up to $100 for them too. Bookers is just too hit or miss for me. I avoid them.

My McKenna has been quite disappointing as well. Elijah Craig is so consistently good. Booker's is definitely hit or miss. Thanks for watching and cheers!

McKenna around me is $58 which is down from $69, but still up from $42.....the problem is the considerable inconsistency between barrels, I wish they would have tighter profile standards, if I run across a stellar bottle I'll back it up from the same store providing it's the same barrel number, at any rate it's still good bourbon for a 10 year old, getting a really bottle is a bonus.

Good point! $58 for a 10 year is pretty solid when you put aside all the preconceived notions around Henry McKenna. Cheers.

EC toasted to me is overpriced I’d pay 45 for it but it’s not that impressive for what it is. The regular 94 is 32 in my area and just because they put it in another barrel for me doesn’t justify the cost. We only see the Larceny BP in my area and it’s 65 and not sure why we don’t see Bookers ever as far as those last two bottles will never see them either so not something I will worry about getting. I’m okay with the cask strength MM. we get both the 46 and regular cask and just going to have to make do. Enjoy!!

I think most Maker's products are worth having, so I'm glad you enjoy the cask strength and 46! Bookers can be so hit or miss. Thanks for watching and cheers!

My rule of thumb is $20-25 over MSRP is my limit.
