It’s the most wonderful experience to just walk along and see the city from a totally different points of view. Thank you so much for this wonderful tour.

I hope I can save up some more money to take a vacation. I haven't been here since 1998. Another visit is loooong overdue and this is tied with Orlando as one of my favorite places to visit in America. While Orlando has all the theme parks kids love, New Orleans has been called the theme park city for adults and I understand exactly why. As a bit of a history fanatic, I need to come back and experience more of its past such as visiting the cemeteries and walking by the river and visiting what many say is the best WW2 museum outside Washington DC.

Really really good presentation ! Primo job, well done , not filled with any BS, well presented, very insightful and accurate, pleasantly delivered. Love FQ ! And NO . Great job . 😀
Great video 👍 I lived and worked in the French Quarter in the early '90's. Lived in the slave quarters behind 329 Dauphine (iirc) and worked at Tony Moran's (up above the Old Absinthe House) and then Court of Two Sisters. I spent a lot of time on the streets and got to know Chicken Man and Ruthie the Duck Girl (Lady) quite well. When I first got there I spent a short time helping a street magician, Keith Wilson and we had a midnight gig at Famous Door for a while. Also spent a short time working for Bob Bridges, the flower man, before I started my restaurant career. Some very great memories, thanks again.

I have been coming to NO for over 40 years. I have taken countless Free Tours by Foot tours over the years. I have had many great tour guides and a few that weren't. I appreciate the work and information that the Free Tour by Foot guides give. I really enjoyed the virtual tour that Andrew gave. He is personable and likeable. I am hoping to bring my son to NO in late November, but only is The French Quarter is open. We will definitely be taking a Free Tour by Foot tour.

Just found this video to show the French Quarter to my daughter. I never have traveled a lot, but the few times I have a majority of the time was to New Orleans. I had a great aunt that lived there for years and I would get to visit her a lot even when she moved to another state I loved New Orleans so much I wanted to go back. It’s hard to explain New Orleans to other people who ask but it’s hard to put into words New Orleans is definitely a place you have to go to and just experience. But this is the best video I have found, you did an amazing job explaining and showing an unbelievable city.

this pandemic has taught us how fragile and fleeting life and freedom can be.... to see my beloved New Orleans empty and eerily quiet reinforces the fact that we should never take our lives and our freedom for granted. So glad you're back to your old self N'awlins (crime included, sad to say). Thank you Andrew, you are a wonderful guide!!
I've been to your beautiful city several times and I've always enjoyed my stay there. You have shown me there's many more places I need to visit so I'll be back again. Thank you.
Andrew, your tours are excellent! The history that you describe is completely accurate, for example, where the cathedral stands is the oldest "location". People think that the cathedral (not a church) is the oldest structure.... I am going to become a licensed German-speaking tour guide and your tours are helping me a great deal. Thank you. Tip to follow.

Like your Garden District tour, this tour of the French Quarterwas very illuminating. I love the hidden courtyards, especially those part of a restaurant. bourbon is pretty crazy and debauched , but the street musicians, great food, and vibe of the people are not to be missed - nor a Muffaletta from Central Grocery. I enjoy watching tourists blow powdered sugar everywhere at Cafe du Monde and all the artists and characters in Jackson Square . It IS strange to see it so quiet. I love the oysters at the Royal Sonesta and the Merry-go-Ruund bar at the Hotel Monteleone. It is a great walking city, but beware, once you get up to Basin Street, as the feel of the place changes. If you cannot have a good time in NOLA, you are ,ikely dead!. Thanks for sharing!
I did ,, and the walking tour was the highlight of my trip ! My host was Sandy and she gets a 10 out of 10!! Afterwards, I was waiting for my friend while she has a tarot card reading, and got to observe another tour that was going on, it was horrible, so thankful for mine !

Great way to see the City of New Orleans
Just returned from a week long vacation in New Orleans and it is surreal to see video of it so deserted.
Wait till you see our nighttime walk down Bourbon Street on Friday. It'll likely bring back some memories of your recent trip.
Born and raised in Nola seeing this I learned so many new things. Thank you!

Really really good presentation ! Primo job, well done , not filled with any BS, well presented, very insightful and accurate, pleasantly delivered. Love FQ ! And NO . Great job . 😀
Wonderful, accurate and entertaining depiction of the city, please take his tour when you can safely visit.
I am a little passed. I got a Vietnamese sandwich and they charged me 3.00 extra for extra cilantro. Rip off..
I have been hard core loving these tours. I've already tipped a few of the guides. Y'all are seriously tempting me to come visit.
We're down here ready!
I LOVE how you say Ya'll
Look at all those new trees planted on the coast. Chilling to reflect on katrina considering the bowl effect.
Fabulous... So looking forward to another visit to the French Quarter!!! LOVE IT!!! Thanks for the history...

What a great tour of one of my favorite places to visit -- so sad to see so many fun spots all boarded up for now. Can't until it all opens up again.
