Please dont make statements about hungarian politicians, with all due respect, if you are not from Hungary, due to the language barrier, you have no idea about our internal politics and politicians. Orbán is anything but honest, and he stole unimaginable amounts of taxpayer money, EU funds, and state owned enterprises, and played them all into his familys and friends hands. He has been in absolute power since 2010, gerrymandered the election system, destroyed the opposition, seized, and now controls all but 3-4 media forums, and brainwashed around half of the voting population through state propaganda aimed at feelings in the past decade. He made Hungary into the poorest EU country, destroyed the education and the healthcare system, and since 2010, more than 300,000 young hungarians emigrated, because there is no future here, in this feudalistic corrupt dreamland of his. He has been repeating the same 3-4 slogans for over a decade, NEVER (!) took responsibility for anything bad that came from his governing in 14 years of 2/3 parlamentarian majority, and to THIS DAY, in the current EP and mayor elections, he is STILL blaming the previous governments policies, form 14 years ago. The "opposition" are also mostly his satellite parties, and they have never been held accountable, because due to the 2006 scandals, no one wants to vote for them and as long as they sit in the parliament, his election victories are secured. Oh never mind, nowadays chinese vietnamese and filipinos are welcomed with open arms, 10,000 of them every month, and hungarians are fired from their jobs, so they can make them work for the minimum wage. Every week there is at least one announcement about another multi-million purchase made by one of the oligarchs (Orbáns relatives or friends), or some companies owned by the oligarchs recieving billions of financial support. The situation in Hungary is as bad as in China or Russia, the only difference being, that here the opposition keeps Orbán in power, and so they dont have to be murdered like in Russia. Orbán has destroyed this country and its future to line his own pockets.
