I wish the blends were a bit softer. When I knit, mohair is actually one of my favourite fibers to use, esp when combined with silk. But I agree that the blends Sezane use can feel a little irritating.
I just bought the Naelle skirt and Sonnie cardigan in color chocolate size XS. Fits perfect. I'm 157 cm and appriciate your videos. They are so inspiring :-) And clear English so even non-English speakers can follow along.
Great video - I am trying to only buy natural fibers (or mostly natural) and I find that so many of Sezane's sweaters aren't...which is surprising to me. I love the Betty, the Leontine and the Sami!
Years ago they were almost always all natural:/ but like any company- once they’ve established a name for themselves they start to cut on costs and sadly most people don’t look at composition and will assume it’s natural.
Thank you Helen! I love online shopping at Sézane. I’m about the same height and size as you… this is so helpful as a reference! Have a great week and looking forward to your next video! 🥰🫶🏻👍
How!!! Did you know!!! You have the best timing (or you’re a mind reader!). I was literally just searching for UA-cam videos on the recent collection. Thank you so much for your hard work!!
Thanks for this video Helen. I have the Sami and Naelle set and I didn't think I could wear it with the shoes you showed in the video. I do have the Low Dana Sézane's boots and I will definitely wear them with the set thanks to you. My favorite jumpers from Sézane are James, Leontine, Romeo and now the Sami (I have yet to try the Betty cardigan). I avoid their blends... I am not sensitive to wool, mohair or alpaga, it's just the Sézane ones as I can wear and enjoy my 2 baby alpagas blends from Bash Paris. XOXO from France
Sorry not sure about this one as I don’t think my machine has a wool setting. I tend to hand wash my knits and dry flat. I tend to be VERY careful washing knitwear to make sure I don’t alter the shape. Thank you so much for watching 🥰🥰
Thanks for sharing Helen. I really enjoy watching your content. 😊The Betty cardigan is also high on my wishlist. And if the fabric is ichy I wouldn't buy it either. I also can relate with the dress where the collar is covering my neck, it doesn't work for me.
Thank you :) something about that neckline and my body shape that just doesn’t quite work haha. The Betty is great I think you won’t regret it if you decide to get 🥰
I am interested in buying the sami jumper and the naelle skirt for a Oct wedding in Calif. I am 5'1 and 112 lbs. I don't know what size to buy. A small in the skirt ? The sami jumper I don't know if a medium would give me more room and a longer length? I can wear a Small or a Medium in USA sizes. What are your thoughts?? Thanks
Hello~Love your videos for petite style tips~I’m 153cm😂 Do you mind telling me your shoulder width coz suzanne didn’t provide relevant details on their website. I’m wondering a size XXS or XS for the Chlo blouse
My experience with Sezane is that for knitwear : always hand wash it, even if the tag says you can put it in the washing machine ! Also I won’t buy lace fabric ever again from Sezane, years ago I bought a top 95€ it was full lace. I wore it once, washed it (in a bag to preserve it) and the second time I wore it, the lace tore by itself 😮 I had to send them an email saying it was a scandal for 95€ to have that bad of a quality material ! Also their shoes used to have bad external soles and they hurt my feet badly… now I only buy pants and vests (like the Will one) and sometimes simple tops, those are quite good.
I tried the Lealys Berry Plaid Shirt, but unfortunately, it looked huge on me, like I was swimming in fabric. I'm between sizes, if the material is stretchy size S fits me best but if not then I need to choose M otherwise it is too tight around my shoulders. The color itself is really pretty, but I had to return it. I love the way it looks on you!
I tried the Le crop in my last Sezane video. I like it but not sure if it’s exceptionally special to me. I would be happy to have them but not sure if I prefer them to my favourite Levi Ribcage or Everlane jeans
I recommend checking out Oroton for clothing and also some leather goods (they also have some amazing sales at outlet stores), AJE for dramatic girly pieces, Venroy for beachy linen pieces, Lee Mathews, SIR the label. These are more boutique brands as I feel the high street fast fashion stores are probably not as good as Canada haha. Also Viktoria & Woods. In general Melbourne is AMAZING imo for shopping compared to Sydney.
My experience is this brand is a hit and miss. I got two jumpsuits, the denim one is good quality but the velvet one was flimsy and it took only one wash (in a wash bag) to turn it into a table cloth; I got a couple of jumpers, some of their sleeves are made for giant (I am petite UK6 btw), some got bobbles after a few wears, the mohair ones got my entire wardrobe fluffy, I sold them all; I got some trousers and shoes, which were generally good quality but the sizes vary a lot. Lengths aside, I got trousers of 34 and 36 and some 34 were too big some 36 were too small. After so many attempts to get myself to like it, I still can't. The good thing is, the brand is well sought after in the 2nd hand market so I didn't lose so much.
I completely agree the fabric composition makes such a big difference. So I might love a blazer in one fabric and not another. Thank you for sharing, such a good reminder for me to make sure I’m buying the right fabrics :) and you’re right, the resell is very good 🥰
I tend to move between short and just under shoulder depending on when my haircut is hahaha. I think the shorter makes me feel a little more me if that makes sense. Long and I feel a little off (not just about looks but feeling)
1:44 hi helen! I’m always looking for classy sweatshirts and love the cream contrast-stitch sweatshirt you have. may I ask where it is from and the style? i’m sorry if you’ve mentioned it before, I can’t seem to find a link for it. thank you! 🥰
@@QuynhAnhNguyen-vr4ew Thank you for your quick reply!! I saw your comment went searching immediately after. There were 2 sizes in stock and one of them happened to be mine!
@@DailyHelenJ TY Helen ☺ I got extremely lucky and was able to find 1 in my size (and on sale!) on END. Clothing. I don't normally buy UK size clothing so hopefully it fits as expected.
Sezane is so overrated. It got popular because if yt influencers. Otherwise there are tons of french brands that have more beautiful and cheaper items...
My experience with Sezane knitwear is that I will avoid any pieces with mohair in them at all costs, no matter how good they look
Ture

Same! those are my favourites from Sezane

its hard to find clothes with natural fibers isnt it? I am on the same path.
It might be why those 3 sweaters are my favourites 🥰 sometimes I really crave the mohair fluffy texture but those always have some synthetic

Oh I’m so glad! :) I’m always wandering about the length of things when I shop on Sezane so I’m glad it’s helpful hehe 🥰

YAY! I’m glad the timing was right. Thank you for watching 🥰
Thank you for your video. I wish to see you dress that pieces you didnt like, to see how it looks.
Thanks for the informative review. I love your style. The Betty in green is dreamy.
I think it’s so stunning. My mum is wearing it and I’m just obsessed every time I see it 🥰

I think it would definitely work with those shoes :) I hope they do more of their natural fibre knits and less blends 🥰
Hi Helen, can you wash your betty cardigan in the washing machine wool setting? Thanks for your detailed review!

Helen I really really obsessed with your style so so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you have a amazing amazing weekend 💫💗😊
Hope you’re having a lovely week !! 🥰 thank you xx
Hi, do you think the Will in a size large would be to overs for your measurements. The wool one I love is only available in a large

Dude, that green Betty! Love that one on you, especially with those red lips. Yozaa.

Thank you :) I know what you mean, I’m swimming a little. One way I wore it is open then tied at waist, I think it helps :)
All the items look so good on you. Have you tried the Peter Skirt. I like it much than the Tania.
Oh I haven’t tried but glad you’re liking it more. Maybe I’ll give it a try on in my next order hehe :)
I'm curious if you've tried their denim and what you think?

What size do you wear from the solena cardigan ??it is nice
love this already even i am only a few seconds in of the video 😂😂
Yay thank you!! 🥰🥰🥰
For anyone who’s bought sezane - were you charged customs duty for your purchase? If so, how much?
I will be visiting Australia in January. What stores do you recommend for clothing that I wouldn't find in Canada.

It’s from Rejina Pyo but seems to be sold out everywhere
From Rejina Pyo on The OUTNET. It’s available on the Asia pacific site where I shop. But depending on where you are, it might be sold out :(

Did you have to pay for tax ordering so many pieces? (Also in Australia)
Never :) If an order is under 1000 you don’t pay taxes or anything on top. Above and im not sure
