Oh this is so great, talking about how colours that may not technically suit our features may still suit our essence. That explains and validates so much.
great video and perfect timing! I always appreciate that you truly shop your closet for most of your videos. this time of year even my favourite low buy channels sort of dupe me into watching a 20 minute ad for one brand. it’s frustrating when you’re trying to find and learn style without overspending. thank you!
Honestly your videos have become much more interesting, vivid and inspiring, you are now so much more confident and convincing, fresh and what not, thanks a ton ❤❤❤
Helen, I found your channel maybe 2 weeks ago? I've watched most of your videos over this past year, and a large portion of those videos twice, and a good chunk of them even 3-4-5 times because there are so many amazing nuggets that I've just been trying to gobble up. THANK YOU! I also did a color consult with the absolute system and I am a Mysterious color palette! It's made such a difference and your videos are the cherry on top. Sincerely, a 5'2 petite girly who just began her personal style journey.
So that's why camel doesn't work on me! This makes so much sense. Same as the "crisp white button down" that we're all supposed to have. Thanks Helen! I've learnt so much from you :)
re: charm necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. Annina Vogel's vintage charm jewellery should appeal to your taste Helen. Re: hair, I have kept my long hair and found that by wearing it in a side ponytail that you can see it from the front, the hair is contained but at the same time the pony tail near my face adds femininity and shows my long hair. If the ponytail is wholly at the back it can look very stark and severe, especially if you have straight dark hair like me. Instead of keeping your hair in a ponytail, you can have it in a side plait instead, which also prevents hair from getting overly tangled up in winter when you wear coats, scarves, etc. (a good detangler brush is essential to avoid excessive hair loss/damage and it doesn't have to be expensive, just try it in the shop before buying to see if it suits your hair)
Always with amazing videos Helen ❤❤ You are one of the very few creators who give importance to style, colours, elevating an outfit based on style or our existing wardrobe , fall in love with ourselves, our style too haha! I love the idea of choosing colour combinations as a unique style. Im gonna remember that!! Reminds me I did a similar thing, I try to wear a colourful or a unique track pants when going out in the rain wearing a puffer coat as the weather (Im in UK) is boring and dull. This helps to atleast to uplift outfit and add a unique touch to an outfit when everything is just dark and dull and people wear just black as its a dull weather!
I'm petite myself (shorter than you!) I think you would look better if your knitwear/tops/jackets, etc. were not so cropped and stopped at or above the waist. If they were slightly longer and finished below the waist, just where the hips begin, they would still flatter your petite shape, look fresh and modern but be less "teen" style, a bit more chic and put-together.
Was watching Color Class yesterday.... and they spoke of Soft Winter.... like they seemed to be describing yourself... soft charcoal/dark hair... Do you feel/think this is you too???
Luke 24:46-48,“The Christ will suffer and rose from the death on the third day.Repentance and forgiveness of sin will be preached in his name,”Jesus is the only way to heaven. He loves you and is waiting for you to come home 🤍

Love your videos. Very education, but also relaxing. One of the best things to listen to while sewing
His *amzrepe* tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation.
When you said short sleeves doesn't suit me, and long dresses kind of look good on me. I made my mind to follow you.
