Congrats! Might be good to start buying some parts for the pc whenever they are available as the market is crazy right now. A 3600 or equivalent should be good for cpu and a 2070 or 2060 or equivalent should be good for video processing. Definitely go 32 gb RAM and the case and stuff will be all personal preference.
I think you forgot about the best part of owning this combo (MBP, iPad Pro/Air, and Samsung) is that you only have to carry one. ONE CHARGER. Since they all carry a type C port.

I love the fact that you have a Samsung. It’s like Marques Brownlee mentioned (and I’m paraphrasing here) when he said that we shouldn’t let the connectivity between devices from one ecosystem distract us and blind us to the fact that there are better quality options out there in the categories we’re looking for.
I 100% agree! I'm also a samsung user and whenever I think about switching to ios, I think back to everything I love about android and I instantly think I'll never switch 😅. That happens rarely though. Not sure if that's what you meant or something else. I don't have any experience with iPhones and don't like their layout and stuff but both phones are probably both really great overall. @Michael Oku Cuz u are a typical Apple fanboy, dude :D We can all agree, that android market is better now, and everyone going for them. Most of the people is overhyped by apple, cuz it is the brand that they started to use. Nowadays androids is taking up the market. Apple company is just "Luxury" for its brand. Thats it. Im not saying that the apple laptops are bad. No, they are good for most of the things, but or tablets, phones android wins there. U shouldn't be mad or the truth :D

I want to do the same. I bought an s21 and have a iPhone 12. iMessaging is making things wonky. Do you disable your iMessaging so you can freely switch back and forth?
Ive been toying with the idea of getting a Samsung for my next upgrade and I think you were the last sign I needed to convince me to switch! Thank you 😊
I use an iPad Pro as my main note taking and secondary media consumption device, sold my Macbook Pro for a Thinkpad X1 Yoga, and use an Android phone. Love this combo just fine.

But apple just doesn’t make it easy so I end up with just the default look the phone came as bc it takes even longer to remove the theme. I think I talked too much, I’m so sorry. Yes for customizations! I've been using android for years and I've always loved finding new themes to change up my phone with. I also made my own theme at some point using KLWP and although time consuming it was so fun and satisfying to see the end product.
I'm also a samsung phone and macbook pro user. And i totally agree what Ella said. Samsung just brings so much more features than apple. Yes, I am in the same situation, a MBP and iPad. For eleven years my smartphone of choice was iPhone only, started with iPhone 3GS through XR. iPhone perfectly fit the Apple ecosystem, love their integration. August 2020 I purchased my first Android, the Samsung Note 20 it is amazing, it surpasses my previous iPhones. After a year with this Note 20 I can say for my use I do not see any reason returning to iPhone. Apple and Samsung ecosystems are equal, and work well with their respective devices. Things I like about my Note 20: one obvious reason is using the S-Pen and its feature set, make any app as default, DeX is outstanding, Samsung (Android) implementation of copy/paste is something Apple and computers should have, split screen, Secure Folders, and more are considerably better than Apple. For over twenty years I was Apple products only, many Apple products, truly a Apple gear-head. Now, with my Samsung Note 20 experience I am also switching to Windows.

I’ve owned both iOS and Android (specifically Samsung Galaxy’s) and prefer the former. But; Samsung devices are great too. I just never felt the need to customize my home screen with themes and icon packs, so I felt like it was overkill for the usage I gave it. It all boils down to personal preference and usage.
For the few things you had mentioned that apple can do, I'd like to give the equivalents for Samsung/Android users: Apple Android Airdrop = Nearby Share, Samsung Flow icloud = Onedrive, Google One, Amazon Drive, Google Drive imessage = Google message, Samsung message, facebook message, etc(all have bubble feature) There are more solutions as well like Samsung Dex which can put your phone on any display or even on your laptop to easily move files around. So at this point, it's truly down to preference of operating system
Samsung is slowly integrating with Microsoft OS, in that the Microsoft's Your Phone app (it works with iphone i think) in Windows 10, allows the integration of Android phone to PC to share photos and files Their partnership with Microsoft also brings Microsoft's Xbox Gaming to Samsung phones. Maybe when these big names collab more often. phones and Pc and tablets would work better with each other, across platforms.

But then I also love Samsung which is the devices Im currently using (an old Samsung). Sooooo still haven't decide yet.
I've been using Ipads and Samsung phones at the same time for about 8 years now. While the Ipads always have a more premium feeling, Samsung phones are much more fun to use. I rmb when I had a dead LCD on my Ipad and took it to an Apple store, they told me they had to change the entire device even though everything is working fine, its even touch responsive. Basically I paid about $700 for a dead LCD, I still cant get over the fact that warranty dosent come with my Ipad and I have to buy it. Had the same issue with my S21 Ultra after 4 months of usage/gaming. Went to a Samsung store, was served within 10 mins and told me they would check the phone and repair as needed. In literally 1 hour, I came back with a new screen, cameras, battery and a screen protector. Best part? I paid $0 cus it comes with a 1 year full warranty coverage for free. While I love both devices very much, I am thinking of dropping the Ipad soon as both of the devices are getting stupidly expensive and I just cant afford to buy both of them.
Wtf kinda country do you live in where the warranty is sold separately. Unless you got some bootleg Apple products from an importer? Apple has a minimum of a 1 year warranty. You didn't specify how old your iPad was, did it only show issues after YEARS of use and it was OUT OF WARRANTY compared to your Samsung phone which had the same issue after ONLY 4 short months and you act like its a miracle that they honoured a warranty for giving you a defective product that failed in 4 months?

I feel like I’m making sacrifices to be a part of this ecosystem. Thanks for the video. Looks like you found the combo that works for you. That’s what we all should be doing.
When the S10 came out the futuristic looks and great features made me switch from my iPhone X. I stayed with the s10 for about 7 months and loved some of the customization features (always on display was a big one)! However, I missed things from when I had an iPhone. Group chats with family members were almost non-functional (at least with two others that had iPhones), things like the weather app having ads just really didn’t aspire confidence, and there was just so much more polish throughout the OS/UI (the gesture system was so much smoother, for example)-to name a few. There were also things that came from being in the ecosystem already, like not being able to watch the movies and shows I bought from iTunes and having to always be at my computer to FaceTime. Also, iMessage does not have chat heads, but you can hold down on a message notification and see the last few messages in a pop up and reply from there.

Missed out Android can easily play MP3s without all the daft conversions just to be able to play in any Apple APP. Very handy unless you are that rich and download everything from iTunes & Spotify. Not all Music is available there!
I have an iPad Pro and an android phone (Oppo Reno 2F). Android phones have some advantages like (on my phone): always on display, themes, free music (you can download songs on a mp3 downloader website), change the home screen mode. But I will have an iPhone soon as my second hand/back up phone
For ease of photo transfer (and all files in general), you just plug your phone into your laptop/computer and you can explore/edit/transfer all files in the file explorer. I don't see why this was mentioned as a downside. An app like AirDroid is only necessary if you want to explore/edit/transfer wirelessly. Also, there's Dex. If you have a monitor, plug your phone in and you have a desktop to do all your file exploring in.
I have been on a MacBook for a while and finally got an iPhone 13 cuz everyone talked about how amazing it is. Other than airdrop and cinematic mode which are so good, after a few days I couldn’t take it and am going back to android. I have an insanely long list of things I prefer on android, mostly customization we’re not even talking complicated customization just stuff that’s more available on android cuz of the platform, I find it easier to use and set up, google assistant is miles superior to Siri, it understands more, it’s wayyyyy better in android auto than CarPlay. You hit it on the nail in the video with my own observations
I use to have Samsung while owning an iPad but if someone steals your iPad u can’t track it without the iPhone and it happened to me which is why I got the iPhone. And the only reason so if my stuff ever gets stolen I can track it with my phone. this incident happened in 2012. there was no way of accessing the iCloud website in 2012.
@@phonepup06 This happened in 2012 and by the time I got home to look it up on the iCloud site it was already in a whole other city and the iCloud site was not working for Android devices at the time.
This is my exact setup! The motivation I chose a medium range phone to a flagship Samsung/iPhone is because of the "wasted" chip, since I don't have a heavy workload. Instead, my iPad and MacBook do the tough job, and I think iPad and MacBook work better rather than MacBook-iPhone/iPad-iPhone. The A52 really does the job for me, I'm really happy with it!

After a year with this Note 20 I can say for my use I do not see any reason returning to iPhone.
Apple and Samsung ecosystems are equal, and work well with their respective devices.
For the few things you had mentioned that apple can do, I'd like to give the equivalents for Samsung/Android users:
Apple Android
Airdrop = Nearby Share, Samsung Flow
icloud = Onedrive, Google One, Amazon Drive, Google Drive
imessage = Google message, Samsung message, facebook message, etc(all have bubble feature)
There are more solutions as well like Samsung Dex which can put your phone on any display or even on your laptop to easily move files around.
So at this point, it's truly down to preference of operating system
Samsung is slowly integrating with Microsoft OS, in that the Microsoft's Your Phone app (it works with iphone i think) in Windows 10, allows the integration of Android phone to PC to share photos and files
Their partnership with Microsoft also brings Microsoft's Xbox Gaming to Samsung phones.

I actually bought an iPhone 12 Pro max last fall after always being a Samsung guy, tbh I thought I'd experiment to see if I liked it and also changed to test out the camera but I think overall Samsung has features and customisation that apple will always be behind in it seems, and I know apple users always seem to make fun of Samsung/android users but each year it feels like there's just less of a reason to stay within the apple ecosystem like other than imessage I didnt really see anything that the pro max had that my note 10 plus didn't have or couldn't do better in
Love the video! Being an android user myself, I swear I feel like people always try to pressure me to just get an iPhone already but I love the customization on my phone. I'll def be sharing your video whenever I need to explain why i love my phone. Lol
This is definitely a good video to show people when they try to force a specific phone on someone. I had an iPhone and Android and I will say every few years if you can make the switch. Like I had an iPhone 5s then androids then an 11 pro max now a note 20. I might get the S22 plus or a z flip 3 or maybe a pixel
What i also love about samsung (android in general) is that when you move photos from a map to another map on your phone it actually MOVES it and not just copies is like it does on an iPhone
Oh my God. Ikr?! This is such an annoying thing on the iphone.
@@jeriekae basically the reason I switched to a Samsung 😫😫
I think this is the cutest Always on Display i have ever seen !
OneUI or rather its overlay is actually the reason holding me back of buying the S22 over the iphone 13. Im glad you showed the themes, might get one after all :)
As an iPhone user, I am pretty minimalist when it comes to my phone so the formatting doesn’t bother me & I’m not really on my phone much either way BUT also as an ex Samsung user there are certain aspects I do miss from my
Samsung. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought about trading in my 12 pro for an s21 ultra
Don't be shy, live ur dreams
I think I’m leaving iphone for Dex, just like using my phone for a PC. Get tired of always carrying my PC.
Apple sucks always late wit features... 😒
Thank you for breaking this down to everyone Ella. Youve thought me more about my Samsung S10e. And remind me why i left iPhone
This is the most detailed video I seen on this topic, you're the only person I ever seen mention the Always on Disply and the edge panel they're so useful and my favorites features
for the photo issue, google photos is amazing! it syncs and its all on google so its universal. i have it on my phone, tablet and on my laptop~ loved the vid darling! doing well 💫
I used to be glued to Windows and Android for my computer and phone respectively, but recently I have switched myself all in to Apple ecosystem. Got myself an iPhone 6s Plus back in June 2020 (a totally new unit, probably leftover supplies that weren't sold yet) and a 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro last January. I appreciate how my content syncs seamlessly between devices. Though I personally prefer the experience of staying within the Apple ecosystem, I'm still thinking of getting myself the nicest Samsung Galaxy and Windows gaming laptop out there.
I don't know why people fight over which is better. Let people like what they like. I'm a long time Samsung user thinking of trying apple just cause I've never used it and want to see if I like it more, or if Android is better for me. But I think it's cool that you use both products for different needs and uses.
omg i saw my bias Rosieeee and samsung really offers tons of cool features that we can't get it in iOS. Btw pip mode only available in browser for iOS but not the apps :(
I usually use “Note” phones from Samsung and iPad they make great combination for my work
I have a note. But I don't really use the pen much. So when I upgrade I will probably go with a S phone
I have a Note 10+
This helps me so much ngl, I’ve been thinking of getting the s21 but I’ve always used iPhone, so I’m happy to hear an honest review!
Been a user of iPhone now I just got my s21 ultra still learning but I think I will love it😍

Love this video! I just got an iPhone 12 pro(my first iPhone, I’ve had it for over a month) and I have a Samsung laptop. I used to have a Note 10 by Samsung as my phone and personally I think Samsung’s are just better phones as well as the Android OS.
Hello I’m planning to buy new phone I am torn between Samsung S21 and the IPhone11….but people have been telling me that Samsung only performs good when its new and it’s gets laggy overtime…..is it true??
@@kore8391 thats kind of been the case with me! I would highly recommend looking into the google pixel 6 tbh. It’s going to be a Samsung processor with the camera capabilities of a pixel (which rn is taking better pictures than an iPhone). I’m excited about that phone launch!
I am on my iPad right now and just bought the MacBook Air M1… and I’m sitting next to my s21 ultra and was questioning the iPhone 12 Pro/pro max. Thanks for helping me see I’m not alone in being platform agnostic.
Damn, it took you only 2 months to nearly triple your sub count! Congrats and keep it up!
I do agree with all your points (I had a Samsung phone all throughout highschool), but after switching to an iphone 11, I don't really miss some of those features. I think I love the simplicity of an iphone. However, for computers or laptops, windows for sure.
thanks for sharing your experience :)
I dont get why people are surprised..
- She has an Ipad cuz that's the best tablet on the market
- She has a macbook cuz that's the best slim laptop on the market.
- She has a Samsung galaxy S21 cuz that's the best phone on the market.
Why would you need to give up on major features just for the ecosystem?
Split screen and file manager are others benefits of Android
Omg I'm the same... I have a Samsung s10+, macbook & iPad. I just love Samsung phones, they're so stylish too.
Omggg we have the exact gadgets too
I just switched completely from apple to samsung ecosystem, and now i think its better consider that its all new and i didnt lose nor spend extra dime to buy after selling my apple devices.
It feels like a downgrade first but soon you navigated through samsung and its very versitile and the experience so far is decent. From ipad air 4 to samsung tab a7 lite, iphone xr to samsung a13 4g, apple watch series 3 to samsung fit 1st gen. Considering its better battery life as they are new is just very useful for me( at least) I might upgrade back to the apple ecosystem one day but for the following two years i will stick to this samsung ecosystem, might sell my macbook 12inch 2016 away if someone wants it.
I thought about getting an iPhone again since I like the camera the most. But after getting an iPad I pretty much got reminded as to why I left the ecosystem
Samsung is pretty close now in camera terms
Get a premium Samsung instead i guess

Im not a huge fan of my iPad as the user experience as a student isn't great. Downloading PDFs are a hassle that I end up having to download the pdf using my phone and uploading through Google drive. For the money that Apple are asking for this really needs to be improved.
Also the native Apple app is not great for note taking whereas the Samsung notes on my Galaxt tablet was great and had features that even paid apps such as Goodnotes don't have.
I'd say once I get Lumafusion I could end up appreciating the iPad a bit more. But for now, I wish I didn't buy it.

Exactly. Copy, Paste, Drag and drop, able to access root directories, able to run exfat32, exfat, NTFS formatted usb devices
Also the Notification bar
I am deep into Apple's ecosystem and so is my family but I'd really love to try an Android phone again 😬
Just try it. Use anything that works well...
I use Galaxy and Mac as well. And if you want to use a iCloud features on Samsung you can use it from browser. Just create an icon on your Home Screen to get quick access and that's it. This way you will have access to Notes, Drive, Calendar, Photos on your Mac or iPad.
When you started to give it commands via Ok, Google my phone started to react :D
When she said "OK Google", my phone reacted to it🤣
I’m the same! I’ve got an iPad Pro (2019), a Samsung S22 Ultra, and a Microsoft Surface Pro 6; they all seem to work to well! :)
when you said "ok google" my phone also reacted and it scared me asdksjahfk. I totally agree with all the points you presented, I'm a happy Samsung user as well, I would miss all of android features if I ever switched to iOS!
As someone with iPhone, iPad and MacBook, I miss my S9. I miss the features the S9 has. Samsung pay was amazing and I almost never took out my card. The customization Samsung has is also top tier compared to iPhone
Dudeeeee that Samsung pay let me tell you! I'm using it every single dayyyyy my wallet stays in my pocket like fr fr it's that good.
Why not use Apple Pay? Is there a significant difference between Samsung Pay and Apple Pay?
@@hannahcheung9636 there is apple pay only uses NFC to pay and Samsung uses NFC and MST so when a machine doesn't have NFC the Samsung phone uses MST which tricks the machine into thinking that you slid your card but it was the phone the whole time and boom you still payed and the iPhone can't do that only if the machine excepts NFC that's it if it doesn't then you're screwed
@@Savage-wp1wo dude yes!!! That’s what I miss the most. I could use it at any shop without worrying to take out my wallet in sketchy areas. Apply pay is good too, just not the same tho
@@FrozenPoisonDust apple pay is pretty butts honestly compared to Samsung's but they removed the MST from the Galaxy S21 ultra the note 20 ultra was the last to have it
I have all Apple but I bought a Samsung phone! I was shocked by how customizable it is! Thanks for helping me navigate!❤
I'm having the same dilemma too! I owned an Ipad, its everything to me to do everyday things. So I really want to consider buying an Iphone as it will be a little bit easier for me to transfering files and sorts. But then I also love Samsung which is the devices Im currently using (an old Samsung). Sooooo still haven't decide yet.
use telegram make a channel for all your devices and transfer files with it
I've been using Ipads and Samsung phones at the same time for about 8 years now.
Ive been using iphones since the 3G. Tomorrow my s21 comes in. I am excited. I may miss imessage but oh well. Text will work just great.
Im tired of apples ecosystem and lack of options. Great video and school!!!
You guys need to understand not everyone wants to every apple device, yes there's ppl with ipads who use Samsung phones and yea there's people who use iPhone but use Samsung tablets or their computers
There is nothing wrong asking tho.
@@NatsuHanichu didn’t say nothing wrong with asking, just don’t know why ppl are so suprised somtimes😭. It’s more common than you think
The only thing i love about samsung is that u can literally upload any apps u want while apple is kind of have limited options when it comes to apps....where sometimes you get this notif that the app is not verified in ur country....its gets me angry at times lolz....
Samsung and Apple have their benefits but it really comes down to what you wanna do. They can both delivered greatly in different areas.
Excellent video. I have tried to be all in on the Apple ecosystem for about a year now. There are benefits but there are a number of things that are just better on android.
Weather app ads don't exist anymore
Hi Ella, I still remember first time I met your channel when you did an unboxing and reviewing Samsung s21 pink colour. Now your channel is growing, so happy for you ❤️
S21 is so pretty 😍
If the S21 didn’t cost an arm and a leg, would’ve definitely bought it! The design of that phone is so sleek and elegant. I feel like they really got the aesthetics right on the camera bump. It looks so luxurious. Oh my God. And not to mention the pink variant is stunning! I fell in love with it immediately. Also the A52 design is great! Looks similar. Love it. It’s the camera specs where I was not sold.
Bro the S21 is cheaper than most flagships (especially now that the price has dropped A LOT) and I have never heard anyone criticizing its camera specs lol. Higher MP =/= Better Photos
That's because the S21 is the better overall superior phone... but samsung helps wit apple phones anyway
You could track it on Android now by using the iCloud website. It's finally user friendly since Apple decided to play nice with non Safari users.
You can use the iCloud site 🤔
@@phonepup06 This happened in 2012 and by the time I got home to look it up on the iCloud site it was already in a whole other city and the iCloud site was not working for Android devices at the time.
This is my exact setup! The motivation I chose a medium range phone to a flagship Samsung/iPhone is because of the "wasted" chip, since I don't have a heavy workload. Instead, my iPad and MacBook do the tough job, and I think iPad and MacBook work better rather than MacBook-iPhone/iPad-iPhone. The A52 really does the job for me, I'm really happy with it!
its 1am, I am now addicted to ur channel and will be upgrading my android phone. thank you so much
