Sick little rotation from a year ago my friend! Happy holidays! Hope you are doing well!

Been using it since it came out. My observation are it stinks at first but goes away. Excellent at cleaning off blades. Pretty sure it has some type of wax in it. It will solidify at colder temperatures.

The wax would explain why the pivot gets gunked up when it comes in contact with the knife shield.

I got my first bottle of this in yesterday and so far it’s ok. Prior to this I always used mineral oil. Mineral oil is great and you don’t have to worry about it getting in the pivot but it may not clean as well as knife shield.
I saw your video on the doo dads and I’d like to thank you. I have bought quite a few packs from kpl but I order a thousand today off Amazon.
But you should def check out their Selvyt microfibers. They are amazing and their price is great on them as well.
Really like your videos. I subscribed today and look forward to more

Thank you so much for the support. I will check out the micro fiber. Are you referring to the kind KPL sells?

Hi, how are you? What is your opinion on the product after all this time? I just received one that I imported from Amazon to the country where I live, and I will trust this product with the importance of protecting the Demko 20 that I bought.

I mainly have microtech’s so I just use the recommended rem oil. Not a fan of rem oil on the blade tho just in the action. The rem seems to evaporate pretty quick and doesn’t leave the blade with a good shine. Going to try mineral oil instead on the blade surfaces.

I use Goo Gone for cleaning.
What are your thoughts on KPL vs. Coon P?

I haven't used Goo Gone on a knife before, but I am sure it will work great to remove residue. I am using the KPL Knife Shield because they claim it also protects the metal from corrosion while cleaning it at the same time. So far it has worked very well for me.

I guess find out whats in this stuff and youll easily work out another option.. i find it leaves streaks on my blades ? Also thanks for the tip about not letting it into pivot etc .. if KPL oil is used, they really should mention that

I just found out about EDCi Formula. It seems similar (perhaps better in being a more ethical company) and might have a longer history as a product. I’m also looking into Flitz Ceramic Sealant Spray. I have no idea if that would be a good product to use, but I’m curious to see if it would be something worth trying.

Alcohol and CLP Break Free for me. Not really opposed to trying the KPL Knife Shield though.
