I love both original and heavy. I have some knives on bearings that I run dry but I use the heavy in the detent ball track and it makes the blade move so smoothly. It’s a great product.
I have both and 90% of the time use KPL regular. Some knives like the Boker Patriot 01BO373 has no washers or bearings. The blade is just riding directly on the plastic handles, that is where the KPL heavy shines. Even with the KPL regular it was hard to open, but using the KPL heavy I can now flip it open, like a regular thumb stud flipper.
Hey Ryan long time no talk. Just found the channel. Glad to see the product is doing well. This was a great video can’t wait to check out the rest of your videos. I’ll have to message you on IG so we can catchup. Also forgot to ask which would you use on a large vs small sebenza?
been using regular kpl for years (i’m a balisong flipper) i absolutely love kpl definitely gonna have to try that heavy after seeing this now never knew they were really that different. also for no reason at all your lube smells better than most lotions and candles i’ve smelled 😂.
Excellent 👍🏻 I plan on making a similar video (eventually) showing the different spots on automatics/OTF that I use it. Meanwhile I'll add this video to our product page.... that should bump up your views too 🔪

KPL heavy for the detent track is an absolute winner.
I have two bottles of regular... Guess I need to get a bottle of heavy, too. :)

Hi Steve - its been forever! I use KPL original on both sizes Sebenza! I put a small drop of KPL heavy on the detent balls though.
Great explanation!

Which one sounds best for Balisong?
Is it petroleum based?
Mate I bought your original KPL lube.. I honestly found standard mineral clipper oil works better 😅
Do you put regular KPL on your bugout?
I do - its such a lightweight blade that I find the original works best.
Please go back to your description and read out loud the giveaway winner’s name 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
