It’s all laughs and smiles but the way Cuban negotiates is pure bully energy.
The frozen farmer was a great idea. So many cosmetically unappealing food gets wasted even though it’s perfectly good. This business model can easily be converted to also include smoothies, dried fruit, and other non-fresh produce products.
Better of selling frozen fruits for smoothies etc not even bother on the creation of smoothie . Just feel some businesses are good for smalls scale most agriculture we should want small scale then large corporations to keep our food costs reasonable and farmers diversified

TONS of waste because food costs are out of control. We desperately need to revamp the food stamp program to include only fresh foods. The US needs to promote fresh meats, veggies, fruits and eliminate soda, chips and processed foods.
I love when Kevin goes, “why don’t you just make her an offer without all the b.s., Lori?” He’s hilarious. I also love how Lori let it roll off her back. She’s tough, but gracious.

It's easy to be confident when your bank account is more than everyone elses in the room combined. I wouldn't hesitate saying 90% of the people who go on Shark Tank wants the BILLIONAIRE and a few wanting Lori for her sales tatics. The rest of the Sharks are mostly final resorts. How many people pick Barbara, Kevin, Robert or Daymon when there's an offer from Mark?

@@cabilgibbs And how do you know he's right? Because he says it confidently? If you don't know the landscape, you can't say he's sharp, only that he's a good, confident salesman. Which isn't to knock him at all, he's incredibly successful that way (like the Yahoo deal Nate mentioned), but Mark has said that he sold because he knew it was about to fail, and misplaced trust in his confidence lost Yahoo $5.7B.
The Katie and Lori moment in the second one was so wholesome and made-for-television. Lori bucked the conventional wisdom because Katie's ice cream was literally the best she had ever tried. Amazing.
My dad was a dairy farmer for 35 years. People don't stop and think that they don't ever get a day off..me and my 3 siblings never got to go on vacation because dad had to milk twice a day everyday. Even tho we didnt get to do what normal families do Im very grateful I grew up that way because it taught me to have a great work ethic.. I'm proud of that farmer girl. Who cares she was crying. It's because she's exhausted and when your that invested in something you get emotional. Super duper happy she got a deal! She deserved it.

Frozen farmer seems like it’s doing pretty well, found it at my local grocery store today and bought a couple pints. It’s really great for how little calories it is
250 calories for the icecream sandwich isnt bad at all. Thats half the calories of a regular icecream sandwich that size.

The last Entrepreneur wasn't there for an investment, she was there to put her ice cream ad on TV for free. She had a ridiculous valuation, she still got two offers, she rejected Lori's offer claiming that it was because of the condition she made to make them healthier, then Kevin gave her a similar offer without the condition and she rejected it because she doesn't want a Loan, she's just full of bs 🤣🤣

I hate when entrepreneurs resort to water works . And I get it that for some of them its genuine but still its business. I saw a shark tank episode in which two very young friends came in with their creative art app and one of them had only got 5 more years to live but he didn't shed a tear . That's the true spirit
I mean it goes both ways. The tank can really put a toll on you and put you in a vulnerable spot. I'm not saying people don't fake it but it's also not unnatural to feel vulnerable when the sharks are tearing your business apart.

Why do people confuse healthy and no/low calorie
Because the false idea around eating and getting into good shape that only calories matter.
People now correlate healthy with numbers of calories.
Same with low fat because people think fat makes you fat but we need fats in our diets and there are healthy fats. In reality sugar is what is making them fat, not the actual fat or even the calories, unless they are eating way above their caloric intake then everything just isn't helping.
You are absolutely wrong about calories aren’t making you fat. You can eat literally a tiny surplus of 100 calories per day and not burn it off and in 35 days that’s a pound of fat. This is coming from someone who has lived in a body of 35+ body fat % and is now in 10% body fat range.
I still eat probably 150g+ of sugar 3-4 days a week. Literally the only thing keeping my weight in check is my 5+ days of cardio a week burning between 150-500 calories and my weight+calisthenics training.
Also yes, sugar is likely causing you to gain weight because of calories. Sugar is so packed with calories per gram and it is extremely unfulfilling and addicting causing you to over consume it. At the end of the day, you’re gaining weight because you’re consuming excessive calories. Most people underestimate how much calories they are actually eating. Eating a salad with ranch? Most people put 3x the serving size which will net you 500+ calories and you’re still hungry. Cooking healthy veggies with olive oil? Yeah that olive oil while having healthy fats, it isn’t calorie free just because you can’t really taste it and use it mostly for the non-sticking property.
@@Sammich88 by way above your caloric intake I didn't mean just 100 calories, I meant like 1000+ without burning it off in any way, consistently.
