Honestly, I found this piece pretty lackluster. A lot of the latest wave of instrumental music reminds of the background music from an infomercial, or a forklift safety training video.
it took me over an hour to watch this to the end. i kept rewinding. this has to be some of the most pleasing sound I've ever heard anywhere. thank you!
Seriously guys one of the coolest damn songs I've ever heard I'm blown away! I went straight to google play and bought the album. Good on you A fair dinkum good listen
Nice to see the Warwick !!! Would love to hear u guys play them as well....and I spoke to soon!!! Awesome!!!! Love my Warwick's!!! Especially the thumb!!
This is straight bad ass man.. those two dudes can play.. amazing stuff.. it almost had me in a trance listening to it, lol.. seriously tho, that was sick..
There needs to be more bands like this. Don’t get me wrong, guitars are cool and all, but seeing 2 badass bass jamming like this is way more awesome to me! Bass for life!!! 🤘🤯🤘
Trying to remember if this video was sent to me like a year ago to introduce me to Darkglass, The Omnific, Bongo basses or Warwick basses but I ended up liking all of the above
Bass legends ! The last generation had Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, ... This generation has THE OMNIFIC, already legendary, and I'm pretty sure they will make HISTORY !
@@sandrawluv definitely. Every piece in their (small) library of work is mind-blowing. Shit. Nice track. I've heard my fair share of anime OPs that play dueling basses with no lead or rhythm guitars, but it is incredible to actually watch a live performance of it. The technical skills honestly make me wish I weren't so invested in lead, but I've got to admit, my fingers are glad I'm not working them that hard for those stretches and finger style picking.
There's anime openings like that? Never heard any. Just that generic power chord progression with the bass playing the root and some basic drums. Some of them are a little different and fun like that original season one sao opening is a little different.
i mean, when they do play together it sounds wonderful, but most of the time they’re playing different lines, not to mention the 6 string Warwick behemoth
@@EmptyDomoKanti99 The mutes are just to cut out noise when they play tapping with two hands, since there isn't a free hand to mute. The mute gets pushed away when they want to play normally again since the mute makes the open string notes sound...er, muted
Tabs? I have found their other songs (all bangers) but that tap riff is easily in the range of GOAT for bassists. Thanks for the musical inspiration djentlemen!
@@EisGlockner no its actually for a sonic reason! I do it aswell Depending on pickup heights of course The B string being lower tension has a tendency to hit the metal Pole pieces of a pick up causing a bad popping sound from metal to metal contact The tape just helps reduce or eliminate it
When everyone is looking for a bad ass bassist and this duo is hoarding them.
That Warwick just announces its arrival like a tank! ❤
Firewood
Thumb best bass ever
Yes it does
@@pearljaime2 the NT thumb is the beast tho
@@DBASSDAN firewood? Uhm no its a bass
Chon: so here is a guitar play through of our new song
The Omnific: hold our picks.
This opening riff with the harmonized tapping was superb

...Double Bass
Nobody : .......
Crowd on live concert : bassist is boring.
Omnific : hold my beer.

That slide around 42 seconds in
Reminds me of a mix between Animals As Leaders, and Polyphia.
More like, chon and aal for me
The Last Day Breathing In Eternal Snow chon
Txk Deathcore Them to.
The Last Day Breathing In Eternal Snow no it doesn't.
doo 'n dwee be doo shwah it's just my own opinion. Calm down.
This gotta be one of the coolest things I've ever heard. They could start a band with just bassists 😭
They are bassists, they both wouldn't come to rehearsals
and sampled drums, violins, pianos and guitars.
Маргарита Че heeeeeeyyyy 🤨
They are a band 👍🏻

been looking for this video for over a year... these guys rock!
this song has been stuck in my head for ages and I have to constantly listen to it
That has a term, it's called Addiction.
Saw these guys live in Frankfurt, sick! Also Shoutout to the Drummer, whose as much a beast as these guys on Bass!
Such a beast

More more more! Do it again, do it again!!!
Dudes, that Warwick thumb addition is soooo sick. Great work. Definitely subscribing!
Theses guys deserver more and more views, such a good skilss
That was the best bass playing I've ever heard. Amazing. 10/10
OMG. Just "OMG". one of the sweetest sounding tunes I've ever heard. so much harmony

@@TheZekeification Exactly why I bought a Warwick in the first place
@@julien.biardeau I think a lot of us are in that boat!!
@@TheZekeification Hell yeah 🤘
Warwicks almost always sound terrible.
You had me at "The Omnific".
I love how u both kill the idea that we all have when we hear "bass" (Playing 1 note per measure for 3-5 mins). It's awesome... Keep it up.
[×̂≈σ̂] that idea has been killed since like 1976
These guys are always amazing never disappoints me
This is only the beginning for these masterminds for they will do in music. I hope to see their music keep growing it’s so epic.
Double the Bongo double the fun.
if this was a polyphia track the title is
bass before baes
that would be cringe af haha
What the holy fuck?!!!!!!! This came up in my suggestions. This is fantastic. So much dynamic that I did not expect.
This is the video that made me want a Warwick bass.
Even 3rd used would do for me.
I need this kind of bass tone!!! I listen to this a couple times a week to get inspired to make music
As a bassist I love these type of videos that highlight alternative bass styles; pluck, pic (ugh), slap and tap.
god this song is so sick idk how i missed the playthrough til just now
Just fantastic

If the marine corps had a sound, it’s be that warwick

i like how they just Karnivool'd that Jon Snow bass in the end for one nasty little diddly.
That was sick dudes!
Goosebumps!!
Outstanding. Sounds like some Jon Stockman vibes channeling through that Warwick.

Amazing tone by the Warwick Thumb BO6
Fascinating that they use the same amp, cab and bass, would have thought they would want to sound different from each other 🤔
i mean, when they do play together it sounds wonderful, but most of the time they’re playing different lines, not to mention the 6 string Warwick behemoth
Bongo are highly versatile- 2 humbuckers, a piezo in the bridge and a 4 band EQ. They might be in completely worlds tone wise.
Matt ADorno additional note, it seems like they swap tuning ( or something similar ) if you look at the mute on the neck and where they put it

You guys should stop the song and dance for the amps and give us the Ultra version of the X7. You make great peddles. Do that thing again.
X7 with B7KUv2 Cab Sims thanks
Great performance 👍

you guys are really good!, you should start a band.
I never thought there was such a thing as a lead bassist before O_O
Lead bassist? Listen to some primus. And apart from that there are many songs in which the Bass plays a leading riff.
Consider yourself lucky human being if you found this song !!
It's that thing I wanted to exist 😭
GOOD GOOD
You guys should feature in Polyphia music video....
please!!
2:06 welcome
Just a little cheeky extra bass chilling too, 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
I figured it out. You guys only cover the tops of the pickups in electrical tape in videos put out in 2019.
Now ... why?
Someone: Check out this band that's just bass guitars
Me: That's fuckin stup
What settings are u using for the warwick. Sounds sick
Just add distortion to one of the bass and there you have it. No need for guitar
they already don't need guitar
What he said... They don't need guitars.
not a he bro
The Warwick is great. But I’m a music man guy. I have a bongo hh. They sound and play great
What's with the tape over the pickup under the B string?
i know a tons of guys who are taping this area for when they play hard with the pick so they can't scratch their body and pickup
@@EisGlockner no its actually for a sonic reason! I do it aswell
