What chemical do you use to combat the lime?

Do you have a video that shows how to fix a piston valve that is out or round at the bottom because it has been dropped? I love your other ones!

I do not have a video of that yet. What you do is get a ground piston sleeve (I think that is what it is called) and you use that to remove the dent.
If you want, you can send me the instrument and I can fix it for you and make a video of it.

This is interesting to watch but I'll still take my tuba in to be serviced by a professional rather than do it by myself I think!

I am glad you enjoy the videos. One of the reasons I do the videos is so people can decide if they want to attempt a repair themselves or take it to the repair shop.

Is there any good/easy way to prevent sticking?

You can clean out the valves with a flute cleaning rod and cloth every few months. This will help the valves not to get stuck because of lime build up, but they can still get stuck for other reasons.
