Finally got back on island after an 8 year absence. Had to do a 5 am airport drop off so headed directly to Leonard's thinking of you two. It was still dark and I got the last parking space in front. It is always worth the line even pre dawn! Nothing like a hot original malasada with a cup of steaming black coffee. Going to try these other donuts soon...yumz.
I also grew up in Kaimuki, and LOVE bakery goods, so was very excited to watch this one! (I'm also allergic to cats, so would be skipping the popoki cafe myself. 😂 ) I have never been to any of those places you featured, so I have a lot to look forward to. That vegan pop-up place was especially interesting....what a great hidden gem! FYI, Coffee talk also has some great desserts, & then there is OTTO Cakes that have homemade cheesecakes. I did not even know about a hidden GEM there called Little Vessels Co. I loved the surprise. Those Vegan donuts looked so ono. Happy for you both that the wedding day has finally arrived. Excited to hear all of the details. Congrats and forever happiness!
