Why does "feeling the success and pride and joy" have to culminate in blowing your money though is what everyone elses point was. Dooo just wants a modest living, he doesnt want to live like jake paul, in a mansion with sports cars and jewelry and the best chairs and comp uter and everything. I dont understand why success automatically means you have to blow your money on every single thing and upgrade your entir elife. He feels comfortable, and he's being responsible with his money. I think so far, Dooo is the most responsible and out of everyone in the goons, Dooo would live a long happy life if youtube were to ever implode and die. while the rest would struggle a bit, McNasty would be dead in a cardboard box cuz he went homeless and hungry. What's so bad about wanting to save as much money as possible. Honestly i'd be the same way, If i had a ton of money, i'd throw like 95% of it into the bank into savings. and i'd just use the rest to get some food and pay bills without having to look at my bank acount and do the numbers to make sure i can make it all. Dooo is just wanting to be able to go to a restaurant, eat with his family and be able to go "I got the bill" and not have to look at his bank to make sure he actually could. He just invites them and knows he has tons of it in the bank so he doesn't have to worry. Not everyone wants to buy an $130k car just to wreck it in a week and buy another one.

BEST👏EPISODE👏YET👏 We love you McNasty! Please don't go make a bomb, drive to Soup or Dooo's house, throw the bomb in their lawn, and shoot them when they come out
This is the funniest podcast yet Edit: Holy shit it got even funnier, I literally could not breathe for a few seconds at 1:06:55 , I had to stop myself so I wouldn’t hurt my lungs too much.
Love the podcast but my goodness it got intense at the end. First let me begin by saying, I see why soup and dooo get uncomfortable when talking about how much they make. You never let people know exactly how much money you have. People will legit harm you when you they find out how much money you make and hey, even if you dont say the exact numbers, describing them can sometimes do more harm than good. Now to go further, Both gave valid points. I understand where dooo is coming from because it's good to save your money and if you have items that you dont see fit to upgrade, leave it be. He's comfortable with what he has, that's what matters. although I think upgrading the mattress would be a plus. Then I see where McNasty is coming from, he wants dooo to upgrade and treat himself to the finer things in life. Every now and then it's good to upgrade things within your home to have a sense of new scenery, treat yourself. Nothing wrong with that especially since you worked so hard to build your status up and you never experience these finer things before. Treat yourself! Both have valid points so I'm not going to sit here and pick sides. Look, they are going to fight because they are good friends, I dont think this would end their friendship.
I love TheDooo (and all the Goons), and I totally get and respect valuing your privacy, but he really, REALLY, gets waaay too defensive and overboard about anything even remotely personal, to the point where it's becoming a little irritating to keep hearing all the time, and coming off as low-key slightly egotistical whenever anything like that comes up in the podcast. Like how antsy he gets anytime they bring up his birthday ever, or the podcast where McNasty got his new truck, and Dooo didn't want to say what fucking YEAR car he had. They didn't ask what make, model, color, style or anything specific, just the YEAR. Like, fucking hell, dude, no one is going to ever be able to doxx you off of shit like that, you're just starting to come off as kind of narcissistic. It's more than a little ridiculous at this point.
@@Ozymandias916 I see where your coming from. Dooo is just someone who rather have different aspects of his life not be said and that's fine. I dont see him as being egotistical for that but that's just my view.

@@Ozymandias916 You fucking Dooo Stan omg let the man have privacy, he wants the luxury of a NORMAL life and also have an internet personality, and it is hard not to let them mesh together
As a fellow cheapskate, I'm with McNasty in this debate. It's one thing to be content in life with what you have because you don't really have the means to upgrade, but then there's just being straight up cheap. With some of the more expensive things like cars, housing, etc. I can understand, but people have to live. If you have an old shit stained mattress and plenty of money, it's only common sense to get a new one. It doesn't have to be a tempur-pedic, but anything will be better than what you had before (especially since you spend at least an eighth of your life on it, but that's a different issue.) If you have a hobby like guitars, then it's fine to get a new guitar every once in a while and not stick with the same low quality one forever. It doesn't have to be a custom Gibson Les Paul or a vintage or anything, but a $400 Ibanez will get the job done better than the Squire. I like Dooo and I understand where he's coming from because, like I said, I don't like to spend money on myself either. But he's just on the next level of tight-fistedness that I can't quite get with
My parents actually got us coal for Christmas. Then when they had their laugh they brought out three giant bags the size of our bodies with gifts for the whole family.

The last conversation was actually a good topic. Was just a tad bit too loud cause of the argument but its a good conversation. Soup and Dooo are so fuckin humble.
I kinda have to go with soup on this one bcs personally we cant say shit about other people ways of spending their OWN money and to add it up more mcnasty shouldn’t be like forcing Dooo to make decision for his way of spending his own money like Mcnasty needs to kinda chill about talking about the goons expense because not all people have to buy luxuries stuff just to be happy and i know his attention was to make Dooo feel a sense of accomplishment of all the hardwork he had done but srsly tho Mcnasty shouldn’t make a big deal out of it bcs Dooo and soup was actually trying to say that they’re happy with the amount of money they’ve made and it doesn’t have to be used anyways for them to be happy
Mcnasty is just trying to pressure Doo into buying things just because he can. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you should spend it, especially on stupid shit like crazy expensive cars or designer foreign cologne.
gotta say, while i understand both perspectives of the argument at the end, i understand mcnasty's side more. he's not saying to splurge half your networth on a chair nor is he saying that they're above average people in general, he's just saying that it's worth getting one bigger and slightly more expensive upgrade rather than a mediocre one which is inevitably gonna fail earlier than the expensive one, and if you have the funds to buy the more expensive piece, it ain't a half-assed idea to buy the expensive one. feel free to disagree but i do see and understand both sides of their bickering :] amazing podcast as always, not an episode goes by where i don't have at least one laughing fit

McNasty's right. Monetarily speaking, you are not average people, you're on the upper side of the scale. And there's nothing wrong with admitting that as long as you don't rub it on people's faces. 2nd: it is good that you're saving up for the future, however it's also good to make yourself feel good now. To just improve slightly your life in some aspect can have a huge impact and make your life better, even if you're already happy. I don't know Dooo as a person, so I don't know if he's the type to like rolling around in mud and dog feces, but most people would better sleeping in a clean, soft, confortable environment that feels and smells good. McNasty just seems worried that Dooo isn't as happy in his life as he could be. It also seems like he found some joy in both the pleasure his new things bring him and the feeling of simply having good things, a joy he didn't knew, and he just wants his friend to esperience it. Now, the 6 guitars a month seems like a problem of compulsive shopping, but from what Eric said, he was just trying to find the perfect guitar that filled his needs and, when he found one of his purchases wasn't the one, he would just sell it. He probably didn't lose much money there, if he lost any. Finally McNasty is also right on something else. Dooo's most treasured "nice objects" were McNasty's idea. I mean we don't know about all of his purchases, but the Dooo himself admitted that this is true for the most part of his belongings. We all know Dooo loves and is amazing at playing guitar, but we all agree his amazingness got to a whole new level when he bought the Sterling. And he has never touched the Squire (actually he did once in a video if I'm not mistaken but) after getting the Sterling because it simply wasn't as enjoyable. McNasty thinks (probably, this is my take on his words) that there's a lot of other things that would make Dooo happier if he tried them.
I love how at 7:39 soup actually used the expression he claimed in some video his grandma looked him in the eye, told him and smirked. "It's all about how you wiggle the worm" absolutely amazing.
If I'm going to be serious, I think you both are right. Since I was 18, I had too always save money because I barely had any. I was going from job to job and wasnt able to enjoy the things I wanted. When I finally got my current job amd was able to save alot, it took a long time for me to be able to drop money and buy certain things. To this day, I still struggle to drop more than $20 on a game, I've started to buy some stuff and enjoy the fruits of my labor. It took my wife who is very savimg conscious to loosen my mind set about buyimg here and there luxury stuff. It's okay not to drop hundreds of dollars a day buying stuff, but it's also okay to enjoy dropping hundreds as long as they be safe about it

Mcnasty is right about upgrading certain things when you start to make more money. Especially if it’s a one time purchase. No one is gonna get mad at a professional athlete for buying a house or getting a personal chef when they get drafted. When UA-camrs make it big I don’t think it’s a big deal if they upgrade their living situation. Obviously don’t buy a lambo if you don’t want one but upgrading your 1992 Toyota Camry to something more reliable and fuel efficient is a good purchase/investment
Well they were criticizing his spending habits bro Soup has a point. Buying expensive guitars only to sell them again, colognes that will last a year if you use it daily like bro thats too much Seems like McNasty has a spending habit. Just because you have the money to buy doesn’t mean you should
I definitely understand Mcnasty's side of the discussion about spending some of your earnings other then simply to just save all your money. Yes, it is beneficial to save some for the future but let's say that you do save all that money then something tragic happens to you. Then you never end up spending it on things you wish you would have or to go places you always dreamed of going to. I've seen that happen to ALOT of family members & friends. I'm with you Mcnasty, and definitely see your side of the argument.
@@thatcooldudeisawesome876 true but thing's you buy also go to your family, so unless you are bankrupting yourself on food or some other form of perishable good they will still get the stuff.

We love you McNasty! Please don't go make a bomb, drive to Soup or Dooo's house, throw the bomb in their lawn, and shoot them when they come out
Our boy needs more appreciation😭✨felt so bad for him during the podcast.
Ah yes “none of us are Mexicans” mcnasty 2021
Mcnasty sucks at guitar
This is the funniest podcast yet
Edit: Holy shit it got even funnier, I literally could not breathe for a few seconds at 1:06:55 , I had to stop myself so I wouldn’t hurt my lungs too much.
I wasn't used anymore of having goons podcast every week, but now I'm happy that it does
Glad it's back
Yeah glad it’s back hopefully to continue but still waiting for the next upload from goonsgaming
@@Ozymandias916 he doesnt talk about his belongings because he knows people are gonna make fun of him even though hes right he probably uses doobras shitty suv.
i was like that too when i was a kid i would get really protective if someone asked about my old ass electronic hardware and games(cool thing at the time were tablets)
It doesn't have to be a tempur-pedic, but anything will be better than what you had before (especially since you spend at least an eighth of your life on it, but that's a different issue.)
If you have a hobby like guitars, then it's fine to get a new guitar every once in a while and not stick with the same low quality one forever.
They're so cool!
@@shruthimaniyodath7755 yeah, I remember it so well because I snuck downstairs to the Christmas tree and found three small bag with what felt like rocks in them was all that was under the tree and went back to my room sad. Then when they brought out the bags I smiled more than I had all year.

@@AriefAdri Yeah, Soup was spot on actually. But I do understand where McNasty was coming from. Like Blarg said.
@@kitrodriguez992 but it's also none of McNasty's business what Dooo does with his money. It's a fucking dumbass argument.
There's a lot of McNasty-Doo venom in this lmao
From what I understand, McNasty is like up and down while Dooo is in the middle if you know what I mean.
Mcnasty is just trying to pressure Doo into buying things just because he can. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you should spend it, especially on stupid shit like crazy expensive cars or designer foreign cologne.
@@beepbooboobopbooboobeep Never heard of that quote before but I agree.
Blarg is cultured. He got that Bin Laden fact from the Infographics Show
I’m a trucker n listen to y’all every trip , especially when a new episode comes out
gotta say, while i understand both perspectives of the argument at the end, i understand mcnasty's side more. he's not saying to splurge half your networth on a chair nor is he saying that they're above average people in general, he's just saying that it's worth getting one bigger and slightly more expensive upgrade rather than a mediocre one which is inevitably gonna fail earlier than the expensive one, and if you have the funds to buy the more expensive piece, it ain't a half-assed idea to buy the expensive one. feel free to disagree but i do see and understand both sides of their bickering :]

Topic: would you guys like to meet eachother in school when you were young
Honestly I see what mcnasty is saying but if dooo is happy, he should just let him be happy and not be on his ass about upgrading, even if he makes a lot of money. That bed needs to go though because that is not sanitary at all
True, If I am well off and have a friend that pressures me to spend money on things I don't need I would get annoyed, I agree with Soup and Blarg.. but the shit mattress needs to go

I sometimes watch this podcast at work as a Dispatcher, but laughing and going straight into a phone call where someone is dying isn’t always a smooth transition. There may be a recording where I have answered the phone not being able to suppress my laughter completely.

I know McNasty doesn't care all that much, but I do feel kinda bad about how much the others gang up on him.
Well they were criticizing his spending habits bro
Soup has a point. Buying expensive guitars only to sell them again, colognes that will last a year if you use it daily like bro thats too much
