I remember first hearing this 7 years ago and I loved it, then almost to the date 2 years later I had two massive strokes and lost the any control of my body, voice and the majority of my memories.
After some intensive therapy and surgery I am now able to control 70% of my body and my memories sometimes come back to me but somehow I was just lying in bed when I remembered this video and I knew I had to find it again.
You guys really moved me in the best possible way back then and now it’s just happened again and I’m just so astounded and grateful! Thank you so so much ❤️

if you couldn't tell, i've gone back and watched every video of dodie from the beginning of her channel until today, and every time she mentioned people who inspired her that she wanted to meet, i just felt overwhelmingly proud because little did past dodie know, she would achieve all those things and collaborate with other amazing artists and eventually put out an ep. and there's still more to come. who knows what she'll do in 2017 or 2018 etc etc. i'm so glad that all of us fans have been along for this incredible ride.
This is one of my favorite songs ever and the three of you did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job with it. You are all brilliant and talented and wonderful!

i just watched an episode of greys anatomy where the original song started to play, and first i didn’t know why my heart was aching the way it did. i recognized the song, but not enough to sing along, yet my soul aches to hear more. and then i remember where i heard this song before - not only heard, i devoured it, i listend to your version so so many times! and i remember all the nights i spent with listening to all you songs, finding pieces of me in your lyrics, for the first time i learned that is is okay to not be okay, and with 15 i learned what „music“ is. i am so thankful for every event that ever led me to your music, and a deep part of me will forever live amongst it. you helped me grow, and i am really happy that i found something again, that i didn’t even knew i thought i lost.

Lauren's voice is like the sweetest smoothest honey, dodie's voice is like the perfect cup of tea at the times when you need it most and Orla's voice is like one of those tall and thick yet still beautifully smooth and flowy velvet curtains

Not gonna lie when i read the title i thought it was the nick jonas song (that ive never listened to but is all over my facebook) and i was pleasantly surprised to discover it was my favorite song by ingrid Michaelson, that always makes me cry and inspired me to write a novel! You guys did the most amazing job, i was balling this was utterly breathtaking and beautiful!!! The angels have seraned us!
