Assemblies in Primary school are way much better than Secondary school. In Secondary school we just have to listen to teachers rant about behaviour.
In Primary school Reading out the House points was like the most important thing
Edit: jeez this got a lot of likes

I know I'm late but does anyone remember *Wake Up* (British) in primary? I remember it being the first song we did:
    Wake Up , Wake Up!
    Give yourself a shake up!
    Get your body moving.
Reach Up (You reach your hands up)
Jump Up (If standing, you jump)
Give your friends a thumbs up! (Thumbs Up to the kids next to you.)
    It's another new day~
    (Repeat.)
    Get your feet
Dancing to the beat(We'd stomp our feet on the floor)
    Get your body moving
    Raise a shout
    (HEY!)
    Let your feelings out
    It's another new day~
God that took forever. I swear I cant be the only person who sang this.

We still do that now! Oh, the horrors. The song would make me fall asleep more than 'wake up' . But when the lyrics go 'hey' everyone would scream as loud as they can. Now that woke me up.

      Thursday, umms and errs day!
      Friday, punch the sky day!

The teachers found out and we had an assembly on them and it was just our year. Before the assembly one of my friends ate one. And half way threw the assembly he fainted because of the brownie and honestly it was one of the most funniest things that ever happened. He was fine btw
