Used to like the evening games under the lights always seemed a more electric atmosphere. The west bank sounded so much noiser and steaming down the terrace when we scored was magic ! 🎉 Unforgettable
Big respect for Wimbledon, I was routing for them when fighting to get back in the divisions. Always had a good transfer relationship with my Millwall over the years and some good matches, we was sorry to see you go but happy to have you back.
Amazing storie 💪 i use to support Newcastle but after the new owners i can't see me as a fan anymore 🤔 some people will think i am a bad fan, after i watch your video i will follow Afc Wimbledon 💛💙 still remember your in Danish tv in the seventies . Would love to visit your stadium one day, Great respect to all your fans who stood together.
This is incredible and very moving. Thanks so much for making this amazing film and feels like the 'mouse that roared'. Valuable lessons here for everyone that wants to maintain communities and cohesion locally. AFC Wimbledon! Amazing.
Amazing stories, especially 9-1 as a first game (Wimbledon Ladies also won by this scoreline away last season) and Stephen Crabtree from My Life As A Don in all the matchday programmes.
I played there in the sixties when we won the schools London cup (2 nil I think, can't recall the opposition but I saved a penalty in the semi against weybridge) and terry bullivan was in the team before signing for fulham. The changing rooms were really basic, but the atmosphere electric. pity to see the incredible, irrational overreactions but emotions go deep of course. Thanks for a great video of a rollercoaster
Glad to see Mick Pugh in here. he taught me at Rutlish, and was one of the few teachers there that really gave a toss about the kids. Got told years ago that he had died, and was genuinely gutted. Watched this and was totally made up. hope you're doing well Mr Pugh.
I'm sure he taught at Eastfields for a short time . He was asked during a lesson ' what team do you support?' & he replied with ' the only unbeaten team in the top 4 divisions! ' I was chuffed as we didn't really have a big fanbase then Great days 😁
Went in 87 fa cup , i loved the ground me but Wimbledon always gave us Everton a real ruff afternoon.. Never get the respect they deserved for what they did.. Respect. ps Especially beating the Red shite at Wembley
I remember seeing Wimbledon vs Southampton in 1985-86, when Peter Shilton elbowed John Fashanu TWICE, getting away with it both times, my brother and I were stunned (neither of us are WFC fans)
Great video but why do afc Wimbledon fans insist they won the fa Cup in 1988 etc when it was Wimbledon fc a different club? I know they are called Wimbledon but they can't claim glory for stuff thetdidnt do, it's like me and some blokes getting some shirts made up ,calling ourselves after Liverpool and claiming 5 euros and 20 championships lol
You must be a chav, They are the same fans from the same area playing football built up from the original stadium, they're probably more Wimbledon now then they've ever been. There's an old saying and you're probably too young to know of it, Never is there a chairman bigger then the club and Never is there a club bigger then the fans. I'm not even a Wimbledon fan, but most clubs can only look on in administration to Wimbledon for being a small club with such a big heart big enough to come back from the dead. If MK mongs ever get in financial troubles down then line, long down the line like most clubs who have lasted and sat in the tables for over hundred years then I very much doubt MK would have the bollocks and passion to come back.

No other club will ever do what we have done

Fantastic thanks for the memories and entertaining history lessons supurb.
The tall lad mikey t speaks of was Roger England, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.
All of your documentaries are brilliant.

That day in Manchester. The moment Danny scored, still the best day of my life.
Met ray armfeild on the stadium tour a few years ago such a lovejy guy with a lifetime of experience and knowledge
Great Video
Great watch, and funny for me to find my dad in the background of some of the clips!
Fantastic video
Is that Vinny Jones @ 6:58?
Yup!

This will be on togethertv
I was one of the 250 at the premiere
I think I've found a new club to start a FIFA/football manager career mode with.
7 mins five seconds is Tony the groundsman. The one with the beard smoking.
First game 1992 💙💛
I wish we kept the old Wimbledon badge
I blocked sheff utd bus then neil warnock got off and told us to f off

Liverpool fc exists. The fans are the club. What is your favourite sport? I know it's not football. Your knowledge is meager.
Because a team is not a legal entity a team is a community.
