I love that Omar looks at the police strategy board and sees Orland's club, then knows how to adjust his strategy.
Didn't he try to kill Avon in front of Orlando's before this clip but got shot by wee bey
@@Bane5393 nope, this was before. This scene is where he found out about Orlando's, maybe you're thinking of the first shootout with wee bey when he dropped stinkum and wounded wee bey in the leg.
N got hit by Wee bay in the shoulder. Wee bay pulled back up wit the cheese fries baby😂😂😂😂😂@rickymckinnon5393
Yes he tried to kill Abon at Orlando's. Cuz must not read yo question
I grew up on this here yo. Ya heard. So let me tip on out
McNulty to Lester: "Are we still cops?"
Avon to Stringer: "Are we still gangstas?"
just business...
Love that inclusion of Omar heading back to the crib at the end. Such a small scene, but shows how smart Omar was.
Dang, nice catch. Most people would have missed that including me. But now that you mention it, it really does allude to just how prepared and seasoned he was in the game. Good eye.
I don't recall watching the scene. The wire was so carefully crafted. I think I will rewatch 😅
The reason why Omar is so legendary is that he is both brave and smart. Before doing a job, he sits down and makes plans, and watches for days.He doesn't rush to reach his goal like other stupid.
I always thought that Omar would have kept a neater house though. This detail bothers me. He wasn't a dope fiend and he was very organized. Why is his place a rats nest?
@@HanginInSF I’m thinkin cause it’s early seasons Omar. Plus he was probably hiding out a bit after the stick up. Definitely wasn’t as well organized as later seasons. Remember when he was posted up in a quite honestly decent vacant with Renaldo after his reputation and skillset improved?(season 4 I believe?) I guess it was could also be one of the many progressions of the environment throughout the show
"Lester, are we still cops?" "Technically, I suppose so.." Crazy how they literally let him walk on a murder so they could try and get to Avon.
😂😂😂 yup!!! "We appreciate your 'do it yourself nature'-"

They can't prove it and are well aware that he knows they know... meaning if he's talking to them willingly, he already confidently destroyed any evidence. He's too careful... so there's no point in even trying to come down on him for it. They also know he's the lesser of many evils out there. He's acting as an informant also to some extent so it's better for everyone that they don't do anything about it. He's next level and covers his tracks too well. You'd need the FBI to catch someone like Omar red-handed.
I mean, they didnt really have any evidence to arrest him.
@@tmclaug90 yeah but they knew he killed em!
"I dont know nothing about Stink Getting Dropped and Bey taking one in the leg either" lolol Pretty descriptive for someone who says he dont know anything. Seems he had a front row seat to the event.
🤣🤣
😮
I swear I catch something new every time I rewatch this show like how he peeped Orlando’s club and then start scoping it that’s how he ended up tryna get Avon when we bey pulled up lol
Exactly! The small shit ALWAYS add up to the big shit
That's what happens when you work with the police, Omar was dangerous but he played by his own rules.
Same. Never peeped how the police gave him the drop on Avon. While he’s telling them he was gonna fall back 😂 genius
Twice lol. Both times that he was in the basement, he peeked at the board. They didn't even notice it @@loosecanon4
@@TheWireUni or how bout when he was scoping brother mouzone then noticed the bodyguard liked dogs so he had tasha and kimmy take butchie’s dog to the hotel cuz he knew it was gonna distract him lol 🥶
Omar's supposed to be some kind of super-elusive mastermind but he's always going out for small quantities of food and cigarettes. There's probably more scenes of him buying stuff from corner stores than any other character in the series. And literally the only person who ever notices is Kennard, lol
I don't remember the scene of Omar taping his door. Showed how careful he was being at the time.
Also interesting to hear Avon be all "my name is my name", sounds like Marlo in S5.
Omar's still one of my favourite characters in all of television. Dude's so awesome and badass, definitely the best character in "The WIre".
Omar invented DIY 😂
Stinkum wasn't going to break 💔 forget that
Omar was a menace and a half 😂😂😂
Of legendary proportions 🥶😬🫡
Omar Don't Scare
Omar was the only real person in this series. Ijs 💯 💯 💯
He didn't seem like a menace when Wee bey shot him, had him pleading with McNulty and Kima for medical help and a ticket to New York.
@@renzopeterson153 menaces get hit too bruh. Anybody can get it.
omar always be holding out in nice cribs tbh
Are we still cops😂😂😂
The moments of comic relief in this show are so good.
So did they basically let him walk for killing Stinkum so they can catch Avon??
Basically 😂 McNulty literally took Omar to the bus stop so he can get out of town
Everybody’s durty yet all the blame gets placed on thedealer! Society!
@ssmfetti I mean sure it's technically being dirty, but at least they have morals. I'm pretty sure they would get him if he killed a civilian
@@SilkyLew They don’t have morals. The majority of inmates wouldn’t be the minority group of society than. Yet such is the case.
@@SilkyLew In fact, thesystm is who supplied the narcotics in the first place! Walking hypo.. Crits.
"Lester. Are we still cops?!" Had to check the most moral of compasses in the room cuz he couldnt trust his own judement. Good ol McNulty.
I like stringer idea but I see where Avon coming from.
Woody Harris played the hell out of his part . Ijs 💯
Hilarious.... A room full of cops talking to a person who just murdered two people in Cold blood... And let him go like it's nothing LOL
Happens more often than people think #foodforthought
Best series ever😊😊😊
They should do one about chicago
KFC and Mountain Dew, Omar’s diet of choice
You forgot honey nut cheerios
I always wonder why with all the money omar made why he never lived somewhere nice lol?
Sometimes in the hood you get trapped and stuck in old ways either for too long or when it's too late, sometimes folks like myself get blessed n get out of the hood alive and don't go back
I don't think it was about money or material wealth for Omar.
In his line of business, he had to stay on the move. Once some1 pin point exactly where you lay your head , its over. There's over a thousand abandon houses in ah naked city. Choose 1
Omar: I got a bounty on my head!
Kima: Yeah, we SAW the van!
Kima's timing was EPIC! Without missin a beat...LOLOLLOLOLLL!
What’s the name of the instrumental starting at 3:47?
The game is the game
Dirty dude Bird huh and he didn't kill GanT
Lester, are we still cops?😭😭😭😭😭
His show reminds of this black lady I work with that always complains about how there aren’t any black people around here and she misses her culture, but also once told me she moved here on purpose because she didn’t want to live near any black people. I told her it would sound racist if I said I didn’t want to be around black people, she just shrugged and said it’s different because she’s black. Funniest shit I ever heard
What the fuck does this have to do with anything? Your little confession that you hate black people and you justify it becauee black people hate themselves which is pretty much because of the historically horrible things non black people habe done to black people. Please stop it bro. Too much information and not needed.
She's delusional
Older I get stringer low ball a mark
Omar always looks greasy
Mf prolly only ate fast food so yeah, makes sense
I truthfully believe people convince themselves it’s so good because everyone says it’s so good. “Are you kidding me dude? You don’t like it? It’s Obama’s favorite tv show of all time”
Wat a horrible show 😅😂
Is u serious? This One of the best shows in tv history.
@@9wardslugga is it? Its a piece of 💩 series . Most overrated show of all time. I can sleep for a month wake up and still miss nothing 😂🤣😅
