Awesome creation but why Splice? Why not something better like Gumroad or Payhip or Ko-fi?
Yes
What software creates that visualizer on the bottom of the screen?
yeah
Bro...what shortcut is he using to scroll the content in the sample?
Hey @Disciplerecs, just random newbie question I guess, how would one submit songs or demos in order to get a release here? Just curious so I know when I have a song I’m proud of but yeah
Generally they have to contact you, it’s a fairly selective labek
Ah ok tysm
Yeah I checked to see if there was any links for submission and the answer would be no. Nothing on the channel, discord server, or even on Label Radar. My guess is to save time and effort of not having to look through emails that are either spam or bad demos. I think their A & R, Vishal from Bandlez, basically looks through Soundcloud or Spotify to find an artist that is getting attention but not obviously too big for the label(obviously not people like Skrillex or Eptic). I could be wrong but I also think label A & R's like going through an artist's newest ID/unreleased songs mix to see if the artists have potentially work in progress tracks that could fit the label. Lastly, its also possible that once you're on their "radar" they may ask you to make a song for their upcoming compilation album. Also this applies to every label but having contact with an artist in the label will always help. And the best way to get an artist's attention is to remix one of their tracks in a way that shows you are bringing something new to the table. Gladly, Disciple has a bunch of song stems available :D
Thx
👍
