Now force them to watch HOUSE and HOUSE 2 😂😂
House is frikkin AWESOME
And House 1977.
The Bruce Campbell segment is a spoof of Robert Wise's "The Haunting." (1963.) Also, Baron Frankenstein in this was played by Martin Kemp, one of the two brothers that were in the pop group "Spandau Ballet."
@TheRedDevil-1968 And although they're not twins Martin and his brother Gary Kemp portrayed the KRAY twins in the movie '' The Krays '' which was about real life London Gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray , they were played more recently by Tom Hardy in LEGEND with Hardy playing both twins with some camera tricks of course .
@@harveylee51 Yes. I know. Seen both movies.
Oohh, long hair Mrs. Movies, eh? This is definitely the kind flick you let your hair down for haha
All this time I thought I thought she just had a weird haircut.
Mr. and Mrs. Movies, the black and white movie Bruce Campbell was in was referencing The Haunting (1963).
Pure goofballery. The early 90's rap theme song at the end was the chef's kiss.
@jakeg848 I feel like i'm spoiling this for myself since i haven't seen the whole thing yet but i will eventually , and with this awesome cast and this much lunacy it's definitely my cup of tea 🍵 😆
I wonder if that song was Hickox's jab at a trend of early 90s horror movies ending with a rap song. Both NOES 5 and People Under the Stairs ended with rap songs.
Just the appearance of Bruce Campbell makes this film 100X better than the first 😂
"Larz" is from the Disney movie from the 90's "Heavytweights" with Ben Stiller. Larz is the main guy consular who's German
I dont know if I'm mentally prepared for them to shit on another of my childhood favorites 😂
You can't shit on a movie that shits on itself!
"Carl? Lars??? I was WAAAY off..."
She must still have The Thing (2011) on her mind, lol.
This movie is super campy fun. The black and white movie with Bruce Campbell (Ash) and Marina Sirtis (Troy from Star trek) is a spoof of "The Legend of Hell House" a great old haunted house movie.
It was the Haunting(with bits of other things of course)
7:50 Holy shit!!! Patrick Macnee!!! John Steed from The Avengers!!! I LOVE that show!!!
Wow, I didn't know that Martin Kemp from "Spandau Ballet" was in this movie!
Well, this is certainly a movie. LOL. Anyway, love the long hair, Mrs. Movies!
48:45 = Drew Barrymore as "Vampire Victim." I told ya. (Devil smiley face...)
Great reaction ❤..loving the hair btw mrs movies ..u should wear it wavy more often ❤
I think the black and white one is The Haunting of Hill House!! Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what it reminded me of.
It's definitely something in that style.
"I love this score.." *starts beatboxing* Prepping for the end credits, huh?
But yeah, the black & white movie was The Haunting, which relied on audio and visual gimmicks for scares... including color for the ghost. Disney did a horrible remake of it with Owen Wilson. Waxwork II is definitely a good time, and when your buddies were indecisive about what to watch... this was a mix of everything.
That actor who plays the demon lord Scarabis was played by the late great Alexander Godunov (1949-1995). He was a former ballet dancer from Russia. He also played one of the terrorists in the first Die Hard film back in 1988.
I consider the first one infinitely better. Always been one of my favorite horror comedies. The werewolf in part 1 was RAD!
Lmao schmick schmack is stuck in my head now
Speaking of creepy things like Alice in Wonderland. Check out Return to Oz.
Didn’t think there was a part 2 to this one…I’m all for it though great reaction video guys loving the content lately…enjoy your weekend Mr. & Mrs.movies📺
I couldn't believe it when I saw the two of you reacting to this one. It's one of my favorite silly low-budget movies. Entirely tongue-in-cheek with a budget of about $5 (half of which was spent on Bruce), with so many fun homages to great old horror movies. The Godzilla sequence is my absolute favorite. So ridiculous! :)
I'm pretty sure the black-and-white ghost one was supposed to be the original of The Haunting.
12:32 Not even Frankenstein will touch his Brussel Sprouts.
Crikey is indeed an Australian word.Speaking as somebody born and raised in New Jersey and now living in Philadelphia, you can trust me implicitly on this issue.
This movie was the last of what I would call, "phantom movies" from my childhood. Movies that I saw tiny snippets of, out of context, like passing through a room at someone's house, and the scenes stayed with me but I could never discover what movie they were from. I had like three of those, all horror movies and this was the last one I had to figure out. I think I ran across it on Tubi, decided to check it out and finally, there was that scene with the guy and his rib cage exposed and some kind of Alien ripoff.
Like the hair just sayin….Mr. Movies shave that beard and give us the stache.
I checked looks like you guys haven’t done Lifeforce one of Canons best imho. Love the channel.
"I've never seen Alice in Wonderland." You haven't seen that single, solitary piece of entertainment known as "Alice in Wonderland?" How can you not have seen that one thing that totally doesn't have a million adaptations in various forms of media over more than a hundred years...? You know, that one.
You guys need to watch suspira and it's remake great movies
Love this one over the first one.
You should watch the Alice in Wonderland 1985 TV Mini Series, with Natalie Gregory.
That was great.
Lots of celebrity cameos in that mini-series....
this is SUCH a wierd sequel...and they definitely go ham.
Mr. & Mrs. Movies...yall need to watch more movies where they just go ham on having fun with the stupidity of it. Like Drecula, Dead and loving it.
Mrs. with the long natural hair look. I like it!
Also um yeah this movie is really really bad!
It is supposed to be a bad movie....it was made campy & silly on purpose...
@@MLJ7956 i know i just don’t enjoy movies like this unless they are done right IMO.
The Mrs clearly needs to see Alice in Wonderland now
They used to show this movie on SciFi or USA years ago, I thought it was too cheesy back then to watch so have still never seen the full movie 😀
There's a Michael Caine movie called The Hand about, yes, a killer hand. It terrified me as a kid but now it would probably be pretty funny.
If interesting in seeing more Anthony Hickox films, check out Sundown: The Vampire In Retreat (1989). A vampire-western set in the same universe as the Waxwork films, starring David Carradine, Bruce Campbell, John Ireland, Maxwell Caulfield, Deborah Forman, etc.
Love wax work 2 its funny. The hot monica schnare(sara). I like how they were rich kids. And she lives with foster dad in poor area
18:23 Ah yes, because gravity is caused by air, as all movie directors know.
Gregorian chant set to a drumbeat machine is so 90s! I never even heard of this one for a change. But time travel sequels are never good. Lookin at you Beastmaster2, TMNT3
Oh noooo! Shes stuck watching wax work 2 haha😂...
Hope you guys watch X-men 97
11:26 "It's Fankensteen!" No, it's FrOnkensteen!
I don't think I've ever seen the missus with her hair down!
A couple of other gloriously silly low-budget movies you might consider: First, a silly adaptation of a classic science fiction book, The High Crusade. A spaceship lands in medieval England, and the stupid and incompetent locals manage to accidentally capture the ship, then go to war with the aliens. Second, Re-Animator 3. Be sure to watch through the credits, and if you have the disc for it, the music video. Thoroughly bizarre and silly.
I love the bad dubbing in the Japanese monster movie.
Hope you have fun.
The music was very "Enigma"
🖖
WaxWorks 2! I read Warlock 2 at first, dyslexia...
Don't give him ideas
They’ve never answered any of my comments, I doubt they listen to me. But Warlock 2 is a poop...it’s really terrible..
Is Markus the same guy from WMWM/FBF?
Conannnnn the BARBARIAN 💪
I would like to take the opportunity here to put in a recommendation for a flick by the title Blood Sucking Freaks (1975).
He's just hanging around.
Is that a "Stranglers" reference?
@@kevdoe3360 Yeah.
@@MrBoyYankee, "we are the men in black!" 😎🇬🇧
@@kevdoe3360 Ok USA 🇺🇸 👍
I was 16 when this came out it was one of my favorite movies
I never seen any of these movies I only saw the reboot
i swear the music in this soundtrack could be from a Super Mario game.....
Well..that movie sucked! But I stayed for Mrs Movie cause she's beautiful and fun to watch. Mr Movie you're cool too 😉
How the hell did they get Bruce Campbell and David Carridine for this movie...
...And Martin Kemp, Alexander Godunov, Marina Sirtis, John Ireland, George 'Buck' Flower & Patrick Macnee...
@@MLJ7956 somebody connected to this had a lot of friends in Hollywood.
You forgot Drew Barrymore!
@@YouMeTheMovies to be fair I hadn't watched that far when I wrote my comment. But they got all these well known actors for this cheese fest. It's kinda impressive in a way.
Sometimes I worry that your daughter is going to walk in on something that's going to traumatize her for life.
I tried watching this for Mrs. Movies reaction but it is just to stupid of a movie to watch. I love watching Mrs. Movies reactions to scary movies are the best.
✌🏿
"America makes the best time warriors" .... because Americans are renowned for their knowledge of history and culture 🤣😂
The music is like 2nd rate Enigma or any other New Age band of the 90's
House of wax 2005 is a must watch, I think you'll enjoy it
waxworks 2 is complete garbage of a movie, should have never been made
No it isn't....
Very bad second time around.
38:51 Hey Torquemada, whaddaya say?
One of my favourite films from the early 90s during my teen years. It's just a stupid, fun film. By the way, the music in the Medieval section is very reminiscent of Enigma, who were a German group who put Gregorian chants to a modern beat. They were huge in the early 90s in most of Europe, especially the UK (not sure how big they were in the US). Their most famous track is Sadness: ua-cam.com/video/4F9DxYhqmKw/v-deo.html
